i watched the video and the assistor isnt like the grimoire back then.at least not fully.its not summonable as free as back then like in field area/cm and it add stats boost.the rest are almost the same

Hello, fellow Saviors. Despite regaining access to kTest, I will only translate kTest notes for one last time before stepping down because it’s clear there’s someone out there who doesn’t want me doing these in the first place.

– Assistor –

The new Assistor system is added.

Assistors are monsters that can be summoned to help the character in combat directly, or indirectly help the character by providing increased stats.

1. Assistor Basic Properties
Assistors appear as miniature-sized boss monsters. They can be obtained in the form of special cards.

1.1. Unlocking the Assistor Feature
~ You can unlock the Assistor feature by completing a one-time tutorial quest from Geraldasia in Klaipeda. The quest has a level requirement of 100. Afterwards, the feature will be unlocked for your entire Team regardless of level.

1.2. Rating and Evolution Grade

  • Rating represents the performance rating of an Assistor. They are Normal, Magic, Unique, and Legend.

  • Assistors can be evolved up to 3-stars. Evolving an Assistor increases their stats and unlocks new skills.

2. Assistor Acquisition and Application

2.1. How to Acquire and Register

  • Assistors can be obtained by consuming Assistor Cards. These cards can be obtained from Assistor Card Albums, which can be opened using the Assistor UI.
  • Assistor Card Albums can be obtained by purchasing them from the Mercenary Badge Shop, or by running the Assistor Dungeon.
  • Up to 30 Assistors can be registered at once.

2.2. Using Assistors

  • Assistors must be registered to one of 4 slots in order to be used.
  • Assistors have a Cost depending on their Rating and Evolution Grade. You cannot register an Assistor if their Cost exceeds the maximum.
  • Initial Maximum Cost: 21
  • Maximum Cost can be increased by completing stages of the Assistor Dungeon.

2.3. Removing Assistors

  • You can remove a registered Assistor by clicking the Remove button in the Assistor UI window.

3. Assist Functions

3.1. Passive Effects

  • A passive effect is granted when an Assistor is registered in the usage slot. They apply to the character and summoned Assistors.
  • There are Unique Passives and Combination Passives.
  • Each Assistor has a Unique Passive which differ between each Assistor. They only apply if the Assistor is registered in the first slot.
  • Combination Passives apply according to the combination of registered Assistors. They must be either of the same race, property, or rating.
  • If more than 2 Assistors have the same of the above types, Combination Passives are applied in order of Rating > Evolution Grade > Level
  • Effects increase according to Level, Rating, and Evolution Grade.

3.2. Summoning and Controlling Assistors

  • Assistors can be summoned to assist players in specific content. (Casual Raid, Remnants of Bernice, Weekly Boss Raid)
  • Assistor-related skills are provided on the Common tab of the Skill window to summon and control Assistors.

4. Assistor Growth

4.1. Level Up

  • Assistors gain EXP when registered in a slot. Gained EXP is divided if more than 1 Assistor is registered.
  • The max level of Assistors is 450.

4.2. Evolution

  • Assistors can be evolved by combining 3 identical copies. They must all be the same Evolution Grade.
  • In case of differing levels, the highest level will be the result when evolving.

4.3. Synthesis

  • You can combine 3 Assistors of the same Rating to a new random Assistor. There is a small chance the result will be an Assistor of a higher Rating.

5. Assistor Dungeon

  • The Assistor Dungeon is a weekly content where you defeat waves of monsters using only your Assistors.
  • Rewards reset at 6 AM every Monday just like all other weekly content.

– Private Housing Bulletin Board –

A private housing bulletin board is added, which allows you to promote your own personal housing and visit other people’s personal housings.

  • You can check recommended houses by filters such as most Likes and recent Visitors.
  • You can also search for a specific house by entering the Team Name in the search bar.
  • When selecting the “My House” tab, you can edit your personal housing information, choose to make it private or public, and choose who can visit your personal housing.
  • You can enter a Title, a Thumbnail, and a URL to your streaming channel when editing your personal housing info.
  • Inappropriate content may be edited or deleted without prior notice.
  • Thumbnails can be saved and loaded through the release\UploadThumbnail folder.

– Class Master Card –

The Class Master Cards sold at the Mercenary Badge Shop has changed.

  • Eclipse Ubik Card: Damage against Blinded targets + [star]%
  • Abreh Melinn Card: Damage against Burned targets + [star]%

– Essence of Experience –

A new item is added that acquires 50% of gained experience when defeating monsters.

  • Can be purchased from the Alchemist NPCs.
  • 2 billion EXP is required to fill the vial.
  • Can be activated simultaneously with Pamoka Solutions.
  • Only level 450 characters can fill the vial and only characters between Level 430 - 449 can use the filled vial to gain EXP.

– General Improvements –

  1. You can now check all acquired Arts through the Advancement Info UI by selecting a class.

  2. You can now use Arts Reset Potions without having to change to the required class.

  3. The buff UI has been improved.

  • All buffs will now display even if there are too many buffs.
  • Buff UI can now be moved with the mouse.
  1. Requirements to gain Trade Grade has changed.
  • Team Level 10 > Team Level 5
  • Character Level 300 > Character Level 50
  1. The Geraldas Sibling NPCs have been improved.
  • You can now draw a gem for free every 24 hours.
  • All new skill gems can now be drawn.
  • The UI displayed when drawing a gem will be changed.
    • Skill Gems, 6-star Gems: Gold Border
    • 4-5 star Gems: Silver Border
    • 1-3 star Gems: Bronze Border

– Skill Balance –

  • The ratio of each class ability has changed. (Please see the original link for the table.)

  • Some debuff effects are changed to only apply to party members.
    Example: Lethargy’s damage boost on Magic Circles and Continuous Area Effects only apply if Lethargy’s caster was you or your party member.

  • Dispellers, Omamoris, and Antidotes are removed.

– Dragoon –

  • Dragoon Helmet
    Damage increase effects changed to apply to all skills used with a spear instead of only Dragoon skills.

  • Dragon Fear
    Added a new effect that increases damage by 15% when using a skill with a spear equipped.

  • Dragontooth
    Skill factor changed from 156 + [Skill Level - 1] * 26.2 (total 552) to 265 + [Skill Level - 1] * 44.2 (total 883)

The defense-ignoring effect when using the skill with a Two-Handed Spear is reduced to 25%.

  • Gae Bulg
    Skill factor changed from 2460 + [Skill Level - 1] * 410.2 (total 8202) to 3044 + [Skill Level - 1] * 507.4 (total 10147)

Skill usage time changed from 1.2 seconds to 0.8 seconds.

  • Dragon Soar

    Overheat changed from 3 to 2.
    The defense ignoring effect on slow and immobile enemies is changed to 25%.

    Cooldown changed from 40 seconds to 20 seconds.
    The additional damage dealt against knocked down enemies is removed.

  • Crush
    Overheat changed from 2 to 1.
    Cooldown changed from 10 seconds to 5 seconds.

  • Quintain
    Skill factor changed from 573 + [Skill Level - 1] * 95.5 (total 1910) to 339 + [Skill Level -1] * 56.6 (total 1131)
    Overheat changed from 3 to 1.
    Cooldown changed from 20 seconds to 5 seconds.
    The hit count increase effect when repeatedly used is removed.

  • Quintain: Sure Victory
    Hit count when attacking an enemy under [Crush] debuff is increased to 4 hits.

    AoE Attack Ratio increased from 3 to 6.

  • Block Penetration, Accuracy, and Critical Rate increased by 200 + [Skill Level - 1] * 20%

Fortune: Safety

  • Block, Evasion, and Critical Resistance increased by 200 + [Skill Level - 1] * 20%

Fortune: Health

  • Reduce Physical and Magic damage taken by 50 + [Skill Level - 1] * 5%

^ All effects have a 25% chance to activate.

  • Omikuji: Enhance
    Now increases the duration of Omikuji by 0.5% per attribute level. +10% bonus when maxed.

  • Omikuji: Financial Fortune
    Adds the Financial Fortune buff which changes the probability of activating effects to 20%. Financial Fortune’s duration is not affected by Omikuji: Enhance.

  • Kagura Dance
    The channeling effect is replaced with a 0.5 casting time.
    Inflicts a 15 second debuff that increases magic damage taken by 10% per skill level.

    The previous effects are removed and replaced with new effects.

    When a boss monster is attacked, reduces the target’s damage dealt by 3% per skill level for 10 seconds.

  • Nachash
    When a party member within the magic circle attacks an enemy, they recover HP equal to the caster’s HP Recovery.

  • Gevura
    Now increases damage taken by [calculated number] * 10%
    Duration changed to 5 seconds per skill level.
    If a boss monster is affected, every 30 attacks it takes will reset the cooldown of the skill that did the 30th hit.

  • Tree of Sephiroth
    Holy Water consumption changed from 10 to 1.
    HP recovery cycle changed from 0.5 seconds to 1 second.
    Now reduces damage taken by 20% while inside the magic circle.

– Crusader –

  • Chant
    Goddess’ Retribution’s magic damage increasing effect changed to 30% + [Skill Level] * 6% (total 60%)

  • [Arts] Chant: Goddess’ Blessing
    Changed to apply both effects at 70% efficiency.

  • Retaliation
    Skill factor changed from 2373 + [Skill Level - 1] * 615.6 (total 7913) to 3027 + [Skill Level - 1] * 785.1 (total 10093)

    Physical and Critical Damage increasing effect changed to 15% + [Skill Level] * 3% (total 30%)
    The Critical Resistance reduction effect is removed.

  • Daino
    The Minimum Critical Chance effect is removed.

  • Daino: Amplify
    New attribute is added.
    Increases damage dealt by 10% + [Skill Level] * 2% increase (total 30%)

– Pardoner –

  • Simony: Recovery
    New attribute is added.
    Changes Simony to remove debuffs from you and your party members.
    Increases Simony’s cooldown by 15 seconds.

  • Dekatos
    No longer consumes Silver.

– Paladin –

  • Magical Stats: Paladin
    Now also changes Paladin’s skills to Magic.

  • Stone Skin: Iron Skin
    New attribute added.
    Only reduces damage from Physical attacks by 1% per skill level.

  • Stone Skin: Magical Aura
    New attribute added.
    Only reduces damage from Magic attacks by 1% per skill level.

  • Resist Elements: Enhanced Elements
    New attribute added.
    Changes the skill to increase the damage of Holy, Psychokinesis, Fire and Lightning property attacks by 2% per skill level.

  • Demolition: Frenzy
    New attribute added.
    Reduces the damage of Demolition by 50%.
    Grants [Demolition: Frenzy] buff to nearby party members, which increases Physical damage dealt by 3% per skill level.

  • Restoration: Spirit
    New attribute added.
    Changes the skill to restore SP by 30 per skill level.

  • Sanctuary: Release
    New attribute added.
    Increases Physical and Magic Defense by 5% per skill level.
    Adds immunity to debuffs.
    Doubles Holy Water consumption to 20.

  • Sanctuary: Liberty (Physical)
    New attribute added.
    Changes the skill to target an ally.
    Increases Physical Defense by 5% per skill level and adds immunity to debuffs for 15 seconds.
    When the buff ends, apply [Sanctuary: Weakened] debuff, which disables receiving Sanctuary buff for 20 seconds.

  • Sanctuary: Liberty (Magic)
    New attribute added.
    Increases Magic Defense by 5% per skill level and increases Movement Speed by 5 for 15 seconds.
    When the buff ends, apply [Sanctuary: Weakened] debuff, which disables receiving Sanctuary buff for 20 seconds.

  • Barrier: Might
    New attribute added.
    Barrier will not knockback enemies or increase magic defense, but instead increases damage dealt by physical skills for allies inside the magic circle by 6% per skill level.

  • Barrier: Religious Vigor
    New attribute added.
    Barrier will not knockback enemies or increase magic defense, but instead increases damage dealt by magical skills for allies inside the magic circle by 6% per skill level.

– Plague Doctor –

  • Fumigate
    Changed to remove 3 debuffs.

  • Fumigate: Purification
    Now doubles Fumigate’s area of effect and has a 50% chance to resist normally removable debuffs within the purification area.

  • Fumigate: Prevention
    New attribute added.
    Recovers target’s HP by [Number of Debuffs Removed] * 10%.

  • Pandemic
    Inflicts [Panic] for 10 seconds when debuffs are successfully spread. [Panic] increases magical damage taken by 20% per debuff. (Up to 100%)
    Cooldown changed from 25 seconds to 15 seconds.

  • Black Death Steam
    Skill factor changed from 149 + [Skill Level - 1] * 38.8 (total 498) to 179 + [Skill Level - 1] * 46.4 (total 597)
    Now reduces Critical Resistance by 2% per skill level.

It feels like Krivis got stripped everything away from it in order to make Melstis the mandatory skill to get in order to make the class work.

This is not a good approach in my book when you’ve got so many classes running around with buffs that benefit a multitude of classes and not only their own.

The damage increase effect is to all skills when equiped with a cannon or only for cannon-type damage skills?

The description states that the benefits only apply to skills that use a Cannon, so it should only apply for “Cannon-type damage skills.”

Is there any formula or you have any idea how much we get of those status? Extra Evasion, SPR and Healing wouldn’t hurt for sure.

[Edit] Just notice all Healing Assistors are Beast. Can we use the same assistor 4 times in a round or we are not allowed to repeat an Assistor?

I’d like to add Lancer’s gigante marcha cooldown is reduced to 20 sec and bonus dmg on knocked down enemies is removed.

I love how they added a way to convert some skills between physical and magic damage. So nice! Here’s hoping they add that to Zealot too.

If it’s anything like the other mercenary shop cards, it will probably cost 30k coins each.

Every stat-type has a default stat value that it provides, which is then increased based on the level of the monster, along with the stars on the card and its grade. The default stat value does not vary between cards that provide the same bonus, but different cards have different grades, which affects how much they receive per level.

The healing pets, for example, provide +35 Healing by default. They provide +1.1022 more Healing per level on the pet (a different value than what is shown in the window), which is then scaled by the pet’s star rank and grade.

Stars
Rank 1 = 50%
Rank 2 = 75%
Rank 3 = 100%

Grade
Normal = 40%
Magic = 60%
Unique = 80%
Legend = 100%

The formula would be:

statBonus = defaultStatGain + (petLevel * statPerLevel * starRankModifier * gradeModifier)

Any stats that provide a % increase (such as potion effect increases) are scaled down based on the current player max level. Because the pets use a different level than what is shown in the window, it’s difficult to come to an exact answer when using the formula.

For example, we have Tantalizer:

The bottom yellow text states she is providing +153 HP recovery stat. The default value for HP recovery is +50, and +1.5644 per level. She is star rank 1 and Magic grade, with her in-game level displayed as 127. We can plug this into the formula like so:

50 + (127 * 1.5644 * 0.5 * 0.6) = 109

However, the result value, 109, is not the same as the tooltip. The tooltip gives a value as if she was level 219. The pet’s level is being treated differently than what is displayed in-game within the calculation. This could honestly be a bug on IMC’s side, as the formula for the stat calculation uses a different level value than what the code to display the monster’s level does.

The race and attribute of the pets do not match what the monster should normally be. IMC made random changes to the race and attribute of monsters when used in this system.

These changes make forming the combos take a bit more planning. Also, be aware that only the pet in the first slot provides its passive bonus.

As far I’m aware, there is no restriction on repeating the same monster. However, this should probably be double checked when the final version of this content releases on Thursday in KTOS.

Did you miss the part where Dragoon Helmet boosts the damage of all spear based skills?

If anything the part of the spear class changes that sucks is that Dragoon feels mandatory no matter what route you go (1h/2h). I am curious to see what Dragoon Hoplite Retiarius can do in the future.

They removed the hallucination smoke Mujin synergy so there is no intrinsic reason to pair shinobi with Assassin thank God.

I hope clones work with JP Chain Heart now. My ardito, Shinobi Linker is gonna be so much more servicable.

And Cataphract’s Acrobatic Mount?
Maybe both stack with each other?
