KTEST All New ARTS/Changes Compilation

For those who missed out the new ARTS/changes on 7/13/2020.

Head up, there should be more ARTS and several changes in the future. These are the current one that IMC development team released on 7/13.

eh? is that all? i thought 7/14 patch still incomplete list/ teaser for upcoming newer ARTs series

at some point the game had some challenge with certain enemies using debuffs, or getting flying enemies in a time when healers didn’t got that much of items to back them up and main farmers had many ground-only skills, but guess what? people complained, IMC downgraded the farm to what it is today
Also that and knowing all the hard work will be worthless because in a matter of short time, our gear will be replaced with the next level cap gear sets

they increase channeling skill for eq set effect

It does make me wonder how many new ARTs will they give per class. Some classes initially received 2 Class ARTS on top of their Enhance ARTs (Exorcist, Taoist, etc), so I hope classes that only received 1 Class ART the last batch gets 2 this time.

that remind me this is the third art from Sage, and still Sage is only a niche PvP class.

It’s just a preview for now afaik but we also don’t know how much we will get at once(hopefully all) …but anyway everyone will get a new art sooner…or later…

Let’s hope next week we will see another preview.

I miss those days, i’d even dare to say the time ToS was the most fun was before velcoffer. On the matter of combat challenge, the major issue were the binary, instantaneous and/or unavoidable interactions, which ended in scenarios that would randomly occur as a game over (like being surrounded by enemies that spammed ice pike).

As these didn’t allowed player interaction and had limited preemption options (too costly for the rewards provided by said enemies) some could be adjusted by reducing the output (like spiral arrow) but when it comes to debuff spam the only balancing point is chance and monster distribution. Unfortunately, we got the easy fix. At time, i thought it was a good thing because of how uninteractive they were, but as the combat degenerated to this point… i’d rather have them back. There are a lot of ways to add tension back into combat without these former elements, even something as simple as removing jump cancel and increase skill execution time can work for it (though the issue goes as far as the speed the combat is resolved)

Yeah… that one is a big mood killer, specially when you can’t join the basic content due the culture IMC promoted.

Do you guys think ATAKA would still compete against the new sets? In my opinion as a pamoka set is way better than the new ones but the new armor buffs are really good too, but I don’t like the fact they are so specific. What do you guys think?

Kind Reminders:
1 . The new ART patch has NOT even been implemented in kTEST yet.
2 . In the preview, IMC did mention that those new ARTs shown in the article are just part of the whole update, which means there will be more new ARTs for other classes as well.

The necessary mechanics for Homonculus are already in the game with Assisters.

You simply need to do some reskins, allow Homonculus to be used in every type of content and it’s good to go.

What if they made Pistols into main weapons instead of sub instead of Scouts preparing 3 weapons to be even viable.
I seriously wish the BM buff will fix this class issue. R. I. P right now, with vvr pistol + maxed out arts is 2408%x7 sfr.

i like this but i want dagger as main weapon for scouts and sub pistol i don’t see sword and dagger in
scout icon lol really sword is ok but they must put that aside in other class skills

Im still angry on them because they kill my Fencer Corsair build :sad:
We have dual pistols why not dual dagger?

At this point i’d say they should make daggers and pistols into 2h weapons and add trinket for main hand, but that means other classes will have to be unable to equip daggers (which only really matters to retiarius).

Another less simple option would be limiting substats lines (6 -> 4) and gem slots (5 -> 3) of all 2h weapons to be the same as 1h and add the removed elements to trinkets (with a neutral sum), this way daggers could still be used as offhand weapons for other trees but having substat values as high as 1h weapons (which is a more interesting tradeoff).

they should do what maplestory did, there is no real difference between a 1h and 2h weapon, the difference doesn’t needs to exist given how they cuck so hard on the defense formula.
