Take it from Monks, who had their Hand Knife-Deprotected Zone synergy removed, Golden Bell Shield animation removed, its skill effects and animations used in other classes and its Energy Blast tripled in size, just for IMC to relabel and reintroduce it as “new content”. Be it with Zaibas tripled in size, Magnus Exorcismus being returned (they better name Aspergillum’s attribute as Magnus Exorcismus), or Sand Wall becoming Magnetic Force …

IMC follows the ironclad rule of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle”. Lets just pray that the outcome from it is actually positive in the long run.

if charging dragontooth will increase dmg then players might get, if not then its a meh for me, kinda like the dragonfall art.

Don’t know how to feel about the new Chaplain Art, looks like it will only cast Magnus Exorcismus when you cast Aspergillum. I guess they’re trying to add more synergy with Exorcist and Crusader, but why would Exorcist/Crusader just not go Druid or even Miko. I don’t feel like Cappella and the new Art offer much over Druid or Miko as a whole.

The only way I can see the art being good is if it worked exactly like @rivayir suggested in their suggestion thread with it triggering on auto attacks, and maybe limiting the amount of Magnus Exorcismus pillars allowed out at once. Otherwise I feel like this Art won’t do much for Chaplain as a whole.

It will increase your damage ( idk how much now ) same as old dragon tooth, the old one is how much time you charge, how much skill level dragoon tooth applied.
It still good for some case and player will have more dicision to use this skill. The onlything i dont like is the way IMC recycle the old skill then call it " NEW ". Dragoon is trash in their eyes ???

I agree!

Aspergillum has a 60 second cooldown. So if the Magnus Exorcismus effect only triggers every time Aspergillum is cast, then it needs like a 200.000% skill factor, last for at least 10 seconds and cover a huge AOE area to make it somewhat worth the ARTS.

This is the reason why I suggested that it should be triggered on auto-attacks, so Chaplain doesn’t lose its identity of an auto-attack class, but also make auto-attacks worthwhile for endgame.

It doesnt have to trigger of AAs.
It is already free damage for just pressing asper.

However the announcement for the past month literally says “screw this” and erase all my effort, showing I’d never catch up at this rate no matter how hard I tried.

Exactly this! other games manage to add some new content without screwing over all ur hard work or even update the older items to make them better

Guys, increasing the level cap is just a big slap to the countless hours u passed grinding (not playing because GRINDING IS NOT FUN, u grind to start having fun once u catched up to the rest and it will last probably a month or 2 tops until they increase the gap again and u have to repeat the process over and over and over on every new item u have to equip…

That’s not how u keep new players or old players, that’s how u take advantage of masochistic wackos and milk whales who have nothing to offer in the skills department

Also the excesive RNG is depressing…

Just a small detail/correction. Grinding can be fun, IF designed with that in mind.

It doesn’t work on ToS because the (regular) combat itself has no tension, it has minimum to none variety, it’s almost completely stat check based and CM just makes the optimal strategy to be corner clustering.

Repetition without tension and variance becomes boring easily.

To clarify, this is a kLive patch that is happening with the typical weekly maintenance this week.

Brief Summary of kLive 7/16 Patch

-Challenge Mode stage 8-10 now has a very low probablility of dropping Archstone Fragments.

-They swapped the costs of the Fedimian tavern lottery: 500 Nucle Powder, 200 Sierra Powder.

-Silver got added as a reward to Split Singularity, alongside Archstones and Archstone Fragments.

-Can buy tickets to enter Split Singularity for 3000 Mercenary badges (one per day). Can no longer obtain them through Fedimian tavern lottery, and can buy recipes for them for 1000 silver from the Sage NPC in West Jungers Road. All of these items for Split Singularity (including multiply tokens) are now team storage only.

Armor Changes

Savinose Disnai [Cloth]

As before, these effects only apply in normal fields, Challenge Mode, and Dimensional Collapse Point.
2.5% -> 5% less damage taken for each piece
2.5% -> 5% increased Healing for each piece
12.5% less damage taken from bosses in Challenge Mode for each piece (new effect)

Savinose Disnai [Leather/Plate]

As before, these effects only apply in normal fields, Challenge Mode, and Dimensional Collapse Point.
10% -> 25% increased damage dealt for each piece
12.5% less damage taken from bosses in Challenge Mode for each piece (new effect)

Glacier Armor [Cloth]

As before, this effect only applies in raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid.
150 -> 500 increased SP Recovery for each piece

Glacier Armor [Leather]

As before, this effect only applies in raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid.
15% -> 25% increased damage dealt for each piece

Glacier Armor [Plate]

As before, this effect only applies in raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid.
5% -> 15% increased damage dealt for each piece

Isn’t this exactly like (one of) the effects of the Hunter Cube Sets which came together with the Skia World Boss?

IMC make pvp set only for TBL and Gemstone… so GTW is normal field?
