40 minutes for easy mode when Bong has a +35 main hand and +26 trinket. And theyre glacier which has the same stats as +21 varna at +4 enhance level.
Good luck clearing this dumb retarded raid with anything less than a full party of +21 karaliene +5 seal geared motherfckers. For freaking easy mode.
I know the DPSes died somewhere through the raid and that they were only 4 people, but 40 minutes for easy mode with gear that you are supposed to have after the raid enhanced to retarded levels is unbelievable.
Less than 1% of players will be able to participate in this raid at all, when easy mode takes this long, and you have to do it 5 times a week until you finally get your new equipment and have to go through enhancing hell once more.

This is what i would expect from the hard mode version of the raid, not freaking easy mode.

Give it some time, the raid just came out. Same happened when Moring HM came out, nobody could clear it for like 3 days, then the first party cleared it in 24 minutes. Now the record time is held by Telsiai at 12 minutes.
You just can’t expect it to be easy when they are on kTEST with sub-optimal builds and still learning the damn raid. Give it some time, people need to process the mechanics, builds, set effects, arks and what not.

People make judgements way too fast about raids and they are just hurting the community.

Oh i agree that its suboptimal, theres no doubt. But they were alive for a long part of the fight and have absurd gear for the content. They have infinite diamond anvils and free karaliene and +5 seals on ktest to ■■■■ around with.
Im quite sure the moring hard mode clears that take 12 minutes is also with karaliene, which is only obtained after the raid is completed and farmed for a while. But moring hard mode is called HARD for a reason, its supposed to be hard and challenging even for experienced players.
This is glacier easy mode dammit, make it accessible for players with enhance levels below +21.
Glacier hard mode being really difficult and taking a long while would be completely fine, i wouldn’t mind that at all. The only reason im dissapointed in this, is because that the showcased video is of freaking easy mode.

Stop comparing it to moring Hard mode
its supposed to be EASY MODE
not everyone plays this game 10 hours a day and wants to raid like a maniac

I completely understand your point of view, but people should go step-by-step instead of jumping into Glacier Raid without completing Moring HM in the first place. And then, make a judgement about the raid.

Doesn’t matter if they call it easy or very easy mode, people should complete Moring Hard first to get a chance to enter Glacier Raid.

That’s my point of view.

A total of 6 parties have cleared moring hard mode in Klaipeda, does that mean that this entire content and legendary raid is catered to 30 players across an entire server?
I think its a bit depressing, but apparently thats what you and IMC want.
Sidenote: Some of those party clears share partymembers. So less than 30 players.

I haven’t shared our video yet cause it’s strategically not smart, due to the powerful nature of Karaliene. Once we share it people will copy-paste our builds and complete it in no time without stressing about mechanics.

You don’t even get anything from clearing Moring hard, you need to clear it for months and then farm billions of silver worth of stuff to get anything out of it
That’s why most people don’t even attempt to learn doing it

Glacier on the other hand is supposed to be the next legend tier items
We’re talking about new content here that everyone will want to do cause it gives them armors and weapons
If IMC excludes 99% of their playerbase from that type of content people are just gonna get fed up and leave

You just answered yourself, lol. You don’t need months to get Karaliene at all. We already got mats for bracelets in 1 week of farming.

You say that as if talc powder is the only material for karaliene. You also have to get 4 archistones unless you get godlike violettin drops directly from the raid, which are over 650m apiece, depending on the server.
The other materials are not as bad, but 120 magic stones, 280 blessed gems, and an additional 40m silver is nothing to scoff at either, though much cheaper than the aforementioned archistones.
And that is for each partymember in your party, if you are trying to gear up your entire party to prepare for the glacier raid, you need a total of 16 archistones for 4 DPS characters. Though if you all share the same property, its possible to just use appraiser cheese.
Oh not to mention the +5 boruta seal to maximise these karaliene sets, but i dont think thats absolutely neccessary to be fair.
I just think that the bar is set too high for the new tier of legend equipment, i will for sure be using the savinose set or just stick with varna until the next tier of legend equipment, except if its the same kind of bullshit as this one. As a healer, im a bit more privileged when it comes to gear for legend raids, but those raid stats on the cloth gear are juicy too.

As a sidenote, the fact that they managed to clear the raid before it even released on ktos with 4 people, speaks volumes of this so called “difficulty” of the raid. It feels more like a gearcheck than a challenging raid. Gear checks are not fun or interactive at all, i think moring hard mode, or even lolopanther if we go that far back seems a lot more engaging than this content. Granted this is easy mode, and hard mode will probably be more demanding.
I suppose in that regard it is in fact easy mode, but it has to be the worst gear check in this games history, and i fear it will only get worse from here on out.
Quite sad to see the game go this way, as someone who has followed it from the release.

There’s a vast difference between moring easy/normal compared to hard.

So you’re right, it’s possible the hard mode glacier might be more “engaging”. Since this is the easy mode video, it’s pretty meh.

I don’t know why ppl accepted kabbalist from the beginning… It is clearly broken. It is sad tho it will go to the trash can after the nerf again… but it won’t eliminate the fact that ein sof is broken atm.
Fun fact that they mostly will be good in pvp too for a while after the heal change in pvp…because thats how horribly we get the patches.

For me it just shows how bad is the direction the game took lately… Meta shouldn’t mean in this game that other setups shouldn’t be able to complete it at all… Why do we have so many classes if we can’t enjoy them?

It’s my personal opinion but I would like the game more if even an 5 archer or 5 cleric party could deal with everything…and I’m not saying they should have the same result… just the ability to do it in a reasonable time… I always wanted it to be kinda like monster hunter where Í can kill everything with a bow or a hammer dpeending on my mood…with a different result but I CAN do it…
But we rly went in a different direction now… They wanted to estabilish these roles…and now priest is kinda mandantory for stuff…
…and at the same time they still fail with the tank roles imo lol…

He’s not saying you need to be those exact specs to clear it.

Looking at the clear parties in Klai (5 parties have cleared it) no one has the same party. Some even took two clerics. You can go into these encounters with a lot of different specs, you just gotta accept some combos just might be easier than others.

Our group used 3 archers, and we are all different specs. So I don’t think people are saying “do this spec it’s only this one spec works.”

However, there are some specs that are just better or more efficient. That’s not an encounter problem, that’s a class balancing problem.

Someone’s class is far from the biggest issue in clearing Moring hard. You just need to find a party willing to go through some struggles to learn and beat it. One of the biggest hurdle I’ve seen people on this encounter is they don’t take time to learn it or take criticism well. It’s a tough encounter for this type of game with a lot of personal responsibility ramped up higher than any previous encounter before it, and people will make mistakes, and some people don’t take that well so they just quit. People I’m seeing are having a hard time adjusting to it.

I’m confused… Isn’t Ein Sof still healing you with your hp recovery every 2 seconds?

The glacier patch reduces the heal tick to every 5 seconds, and reduced the healing to only scale from the caster, not the receiving user.
Which is totally reasonable, because Ein Sof right now is really broken, and deserves this nerf very much.

I know you’re talking about the powder, but this is unrealistic. It’s very unlikely that you’re going to farm up 4 archstones (or enough to buy 4 archstones) in a couple weeks, let alone the additional 2 you need for the ark.

We’re also talking about normal play. Nothing about this is normal, even for the most hardcore of players.

As for the new raid, nothing about 40 minutes on an easy mode boss raid is normal. A 40 minute boss isn’t even normal in MMOs designed around this type of serious end-game PVE content. It’s not good design–20 minutes is pushing it already as the worst, edge case scenarios in popular MMOs. A game cannot survive where 99% of the “content” is mindless, bot like farming up against a wall in the same map for a year and 1% is a 20-40 minute overtuned boss fight. And remember, these people on ktest are doing it in the gear that drops from it, highly upgraded. They have access to things real players will simply not have access to at all. And this is the raid that everyone is expected to be doing.

Of course people will learn it, it’ll become easier as people get gear, but it’s not even about gear or the raid. It’s about what’s enjoyable. Nothing about the current state of the game is enjoyable when laid out like this–no current issues are being addressed and the future patch just hits the point home that not only will they never be addressed, but that IMC has decided to take the worst aspects of everything they put out and build the entire game around those aspects. Not only is the game in such a terrible state right now but there is no future. And I don’t say that lightly. I’ve played since day 1, through the worst of the worst of the worst of it. After everything that has happened in just over 4 years, this is it.

And I’m not trying to convince you to quit, or anyone to. I’m just so far above the limit of bullshit I can tolerate or excuse or even try to figure out how IMC came to the conclusions they did that this is somehow what people wanted.
