Based on these notes is it no longer going to be the green hp recovery stat (the one based on total hp) and instead they are going to switch it to the base poop hp recovery stat that is super garbage?

Moringponia as a content seems to require much more from the player compared to this new raid.
Obviously, we’ve just had a small peek of the easiest mode. But it feels like the raid is focused more on having strong enough gear and classes to clear it in a respectable amount of time, than mastering the mechanics, while not being totally unreasonable.
As i mentioned before, while the raid takes a long time, it did not seem to be like it requires much mastery of its mechanics from how fast they cleared it in comparison to moringponias hard mode. But since it easy mode, that seems reasonable, and i expect the hard mode to require more of the players. But requiring top tier gear to attempt what seems to be a mechanically simple raid just seems plain silly in my mind.

I think what they said is that the fact that it scaled from the green stat was never intended, but i think they made it a feature, but nerfed the power of it by removing the additional scaling from the receiving players stats. (At least thats what i hope, because that would be a perfectly reasonable heal amount, while not being overly powerful to be solely relied on) Lets hope for the best.

Just going to remind other people the fact that feeling like no contributing on content isn’t fun either. The raid may get ā€œeasier with timeā€ but it won’t make it more fun or enjoyable when you can’t help your party enough.

K sounds like that was what I was reading as well, and if it is so, then Kabba will still be fine. Just no longer a good main healer…
Also if their intention was to use that sh!tty low base hp recovery stat for the Kabba heal, then they might of as well have not even bothered adding it. Let’s be real, most people have a base hp recovery of around 1.5k, that ain’t healing sh!t…

If they nerfed it like this, but still made it scale from green stat then it would actually be really good because it turns the skill from a totally retarded god mode healing skill, to a skill that can heal a reasonable amount, but requires investment to maximise, which gives you different options to choose when making healer ichor gear, because there are so many stats that you want, and you can then choose to sacrifice defense for more healing, or the other way around.
Gives you as a healer choice whenever you want to maximise your heal, ein sof heal, or if you want more survivability, and that kind of choice feels quite engaging in my mind.
It would also make ein sof into more of a supplementary heal that you can sometimes rely on while distancing yourself from your DPSes for whatever reason, but not something that can solo heal your entire party, which makes the healer role require more active involvement to healing instead of just casting all your support skills and then pressing ein sof.
I seriously hope they didnt make it scale off of the white stat, would ruin the skill in my opinion, even if +24% max HP is also really strong, but the buff to sephiroth would not compensate at all for such a severe nerf.

Legend Raid Boss Stat Changes

Legend Sets

Number of sets reduced to 3. As explained before, this legend gear has special modifiers to its base attack and defense in order to make it more powerful than it would be normally compared to old gear. These are changes outside of just the usual curve in stats that come with it being higher level.

Here’s all the modifiers, with the changes they just made:

One Handed Weapon Attack +12%
Two Handed Weapon Attack +10%
Shield Defense +8%
Armor Defense +20% (10 -> 20 compared to KTEST)
Repair Cost +20%
Enhance Cost +20%

Savinose (Normal fields, Challenge Mode, Dimensional Collapse Point)
Must be appraised, does not accept random stat ichors. Applies the following bonuses in the designated content. Does not provide bonuses against field bosses.

+10% damage dealt per piece
+100 Looting Chance per piece
+3 Movement Speed when wearing all four pieces

Raid [Cloth] (Raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid)
Accepts random stat ichors. Applies the following bonuses in the designated content.

-7.5% damage taken per piece
+5% Healing per piece
+150 SP Recovery per piece

Raid [Leather] (Raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid)
Accepts random stat ichors. Applies the following bonuses in the designated content.

-3.75% damage taken per piece
+15% damage dealt per piece

Raid [Plate] (Raid dungeons and Weekly Boss Raid)
Accepts random stat ichors. Applies the following bonuses in the designated content.

-7.5% damage taken per piece
+5% damage dealt per piece
+5 Movement Speed when wearing all four pieces

PVP (Gemstone Feud and Team Battle League only)
Accepts random stat ichors.

0 Physical/Magic Defense outside of designated areas
-90% enhancement cost
Transcend cost locked to 1 Goddess’ Blessed Gem
Pamoka cost to apply set bonuses locked to 1

New goddess themed armor sets in the files to go along with the demon sets. 5 different new sets, requires a new material. They don’t seem finished yet (no stats, just the ingredients and item icons).

I should have said powders, my bad, i agree that Archstones are retarded, it’s unacceptable that i have powders ready to craft Karaliene but i need 4 f*cking Archstones to craft them. Those are just 2 separate issues and i focused more on raids being ā€˜hard’ than the requirements to craft Karaliene accessories.

Nothing about this game is normal, people sort of need to spam CMs all day/everyday to get some income in order to get their things, it’s something that burns out any player, me included.
I think we had this conversation before on discord and i just don’t have the solutions for everything that IMC implements, hell, i don’t think any of the community complaints are heard at all and they just take kTOS community feedback.

Now, let’s talk about what’s enjoyable. Literally nothing.
Is CM spƔmming enjoyable? No.
Is Vaivora farming enjoyable? No.
Is WBR enjoyable? No, most people don’t enjoy it cause it takes TONS of hours of practice to get rank 1 plus all the RNG on boss mechanics.
Is GTW enjoyable? No, it’s just a lag fest that in some patch everything went downhill, and you know how frustrated i was about it.
Is Boruta enjoyable? F*ck no.
Are raids enjoyable? No, people just want their items and never touch again the raid. i.e. Varna Raid.
Is TBL and Gem Feud enjoyable? No, class balance issues on top of stupid mechanics, matchmaking system issues. Big Yikes.

The only ā€˜content’ that i could consider enjoyable is the new Assister dungeon but it’s already turning into a chore that im starting to dislike.

So i think the community is just reacting to a chain of problems that were not addressed in the past and happened to trigger with Moringponia Hard Mode + Glacier Raid.

It’s not about Glacier being 1 hour long. Back in 2016, ET used to take 1 hour long, with months of farming to get Solmiki/Lolopanther, Velcoffer when it came out used to take 40 minutes to clear. Nobody complained about it cause everyone accepted it as a norm.
Things are just too repetitive, everyday is the same in ToS. So, all the things you replied to me seem to be more of a content problem/design path than ā€˜a legend raid taking 40 minutes to clear’.

But hey, i’m competitive, so my opinion is based on finding challenges and overcome them, rather than complaining about them on the forum.
I’ll most likely have 100 Moth talc powders before i see a single archstone. It is what it is.

Anyway, the issue started with Moringponia HM being ā€˜too hard’ + Glacier Raid taking 40 minutes, to what’s enjoyable on Tree of Savior.

Even if they nerf Glacier Raid to literally sh*t, the CORE issues are still there so yeah, they have to figure it out before it’s too late.

Also this, people should take the time to learn the raid’s mechanics, it’s not about what DPS class you bring, but more about setting up roles and adjust your support builds. I already hinted Kabbalist as a really good class for this raid.

This exactly, actually. And ET sucked, but the game was new and people still felt like it had potential. That’s why I stuck it out, at least.

It’s okay to be a brand new company and try things. We’re 4 years in, while I think listening to the squeaky wheel in an MMO community does not always yield positive results, the feedback is overwhelmingly negative for what they’re doing. Seems like they kinda get it with a few of the changes before the live patch?

But yeah, CM grind and archstone RNG really hurt more than everything else. I was getting ready for a new legend set months ago, and my motivation was evaporated when I found out how low the archstone rate actually was. I already hated Uphill and felt forced to do it and the yield is so damn low.

edit: also the totally unaddressed issues/exploits, the admission in a dev blog that they’re not touching PVP again all year, Boruta only going back to being a total slog, and while they reduced the amount of new sets–they’re still 6-set bonuses so woohoo weapon anviling, I’ve gotten a total of like 2 +16s in 4 years and have never seen a +21.

While most of the players are complaining about the new legend raid being too hard, IMC, on the contrary, decided to further raise the difficulty by increasing the boss’ attack and defense.
