KToS General Thread v5.0

Sadhu - PD - Krivis is pretty good on paper if you’re not using Sadhu vaivora and replaced Crusader for Sadhu. OOB’s arts allow you to summon multiple clones that can use your spells, so just pop all of those and then start spamming Krivis’ Piety + debuff stacking/burst combos.

Sadhu - PD - Druid is another option if you’re looking for 10-15 seconds burst window with 123.3% critical damage sterea trofh + Sauk set effect. (Also if you don’t need anymore accuracy/block penetration bonuses)

KTest cleric patch moving to KToS (with numbers and details about how Sadhu skills work, finally), also they added a feature to allow transferring Enchant options from one hair accessory to another (probably at the cost of TP, of course).

Ignore the bad translation, but 100% Final damage for Sadhu skill, which push sadhu damage further! Sadhu is saved!

Possible classes builds:

  • Sadhu-Krivis-Crusader (All Burst)

  • Sadhu-Krivis-PD (No need crusader. Sadhu strong). Also Sadhu + PD vaivora

  • Sadhu-Krivis-Kabbalist (Moshka’s 30x hits with Sadhu VVR + Guvera = instant 30% cooldown reduction)

  • Sadhu-Crusader-Kabbalist ( All in ein’s cooldown with Crusader’s new Sacred buff for level 4 vaivora). Unkillable build with Ein sof + higher hp pool/activate guardian saint attribute for 10% FD

  • Sadhu-Krivis-Miko (another burst combo/option. New Hamaya buff push the skill factor from 40k-50k > 100k+ SFR

  • Sadhu-Krivis-Diev (Another Zealot-Krivis-Diev kind of build but magic version! Burst + 15% final crit damage debuff + Zalciai crit + cooldown support)

  • Sadhu-Krivis-Druid (All critical damage effect. Turn on grass arts for super healing! Also Demi-human form for crit rate, defense, and other % bonuses).

We have good news that a player by the name of Temperentia of Telsiai has just made a ToS database website go live today the name of TavernOfSoul (actually this is his guild’s name), bearing a more similar design and feel as the old tos-neet format and loading times. This is a great alternative to handtos.mochisuke, and you can never have enough information about this game. I personally feel that, while it only covers IToS, KTest and KToS (compared to handtos covering more servers like JToS etc), the familiar format and fast loading times are great perks that make the website worth trying it out!!

Once again, a huge thanks for Temperentia for making this useful website!

kudos to IMC, this MMO is probably one of the top MMO that perform tons of jobs skill changes in the name of rebalancing but its nowhere to be balance, instead it gave me feels of alienation each time i got back, like e.g. lost synergies, and many other loss which more apparent cause most of times the compensation is sucks or slow. i will just login when the end is nigh just to get final quick nostagia.
congrats at least you achieve something.

So, since Sadhu was finally saved after 5 years, by my calculations, Alchemist will be saved in 2026.

Every month, so far, they have released a new class and a small rework to the live classes on the same tree. Because next month’s class will be an Archer class, the Archer tree will be touched and, likely, a lot of “outdated” classes will receive some sort of change.

I think Sapper is included on the pack, but can’t be 100% sure. IMC delivered a physical cleric balance patch together with the release of a magic cleric. We can make an educated guess and say the new class is a Bow class, but a lot of other classes on the same tree can get some kind of love.

Good to see they are still working on optimization. It still buggers me how the game was like 2-3 years ago and how it is now.

Sorry for nitpicking but they didn’t xD Sadhu is not a new class. Cleric will get a new class in March… :confused: If they won’t touch sapper yet… the next chance is in April… XD The worse part is that it is labelled “existing class remake” for archers in April… so that pretty much could be the sapper remake month XD

Wondering which scout class will they rework in December tho. I wish it would be enchanter… whether it’s usable or not it is pretty much just a lame buffer without any real concept behind it at this point. They could make squire usable in battle too tho…

I just hope IMC fixes the brutal difference in performance in the Archer Class. It’s always one build that is absurdly good, and the rest of Classes don’t come even close to match it. In every other base Class (maybe not Cleric depending on your point of view) you have 2-3 options that are really good, but in Archer you have almost always just one choice or have “no damage”, unless you like the other builds for reasons other than performance.

Maybe this balance patch they give the boost to Cannon, Musket and Bow builds to be at least close to Arba-QS, I believeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~

I think the latest KToS version has bug fixing feature by using the V key that caused issue through attacking Icewall and fireball as well. Along with Rexipher bug attack also can be fixed by this version as published in the journal of EduHelpHub . That’s it!

On the sadhu post they said ALL classes will be rebalanced next patch, not archer only.

And the image they shared showed a lot of classes that are not in the same tree. So yeah, here comes the BIG balance patch. mental note to prepare the popcorn

I wish they would change Divine Punishment (Taoist) into something that doesn’t simply fizzle out because the monster moved a bit too much to the left. Elementalist can have a better fire spell than Fire Claw. And I’m scared of what they want to change on Warlock.

Some “simple” changes I personally wish IMC would make for Physical Cleric DPS, but probably won’t do anyway :crazy_face::

Krivis:

  • Remove Brilliance debuff from default Krivis and make it a Krivis-Vaivora only mechanic for stacking Sacred Lightning
  • Make Piety no longer require Brilliance, just make it hit the 10 closest targets near the user, also make the animation faster or make it 1 overheat x3 hits
  • Make Aukuras a one-pointer and change its functions, maybe.

Druid:

  • Please anything would do, just buff this class and not leave it in limbo, like increasing its DPS and giving it stronger self-buffs so players have a choice between Krivis for party play and Druid for solo play, or rework the class for Summon Cleric builds

Inquisitor:

  • Buff default God Smash, thing has lower DPS than default Smite just saying
  • I hear Breaking Wheel’s 100% damage change to 10% wasn’t well-received, perhaps make it so only Inquisitor skills get the 100% damage change for Wheel-Ripper use?
  • Reduce Malleus Maleficarum’s max point requirements to 10 …?
  • Revert Iron Maiden change so it lasts longer for less damage, no one uses this for DPS

Paladin:

  • Increase Smite-Conviction combo’s damage
  • Remove 50% damage penalty from Demolition: Madness Attribute
  • Why does Sanctuary still exist?
  • Update Conviction/Resist Elements to benefit more attack types

Zealot:

  • Reduce points required to max Blind Faith to 5 points, or reduce points required to max Beady Eyed to 1 point
  • Make Beady Eyed do a short teleport forward instead of there’s no target while the skill is used
  • Too much to ask to make Invulnerable a one-pointer …?

Monk:

  • Reduce points required to max Hand Knife and One Inch Punch to 5
  • Maybe reduce points required to max Iron Skin to 1 …?
  • Don’t recycle Golden Bell Shield’s mechanic into an art, return it to default Golden Bell Shield
  • Make a new art that gives Monk a bare-handed stance and changes Smite into a punch/kick/double punch animation (heck just recycle Double Punch animation, IMC I know you’re good at this) that does the same damage as Smite, where the art exchanges Smite’s 50% on devil-types and 3x hits on Conviction bonuses for benefitting from Monk-only buffs, proc-ing Thunder Kick and being able to stack Liberation because I want to ORA ORA ORA ORA more even if I only deals Smite levels worth of DPS doing so (this way, no balance is broken for this or something since Smite already exists, many Supports run Paladin nowadays for default Smite to benefit from too)

TL:DR: A long Monk post once in a while, wishful-thinking Monk at work. :haha:
