this look interesting, since we can buy trash cyan and magenta gem from wings of vaivora, so I wonder if we can use bunch of those to make other magenta and cyan gem.

Currently you cannot dismantle the basic gems that you received from quest or vaivora. So I believe they will not allow to use it as food.

I can’t shake off the feeling that the devs are not playing their own game and that the direction is made up as they go along as opposed to having a long-term plan reading these dev notes.

They’re reacting instead of being pro-active.

dude they outright imply that they don’t play their game (or not enough to see the problem). It’s a fact now.

5 new vaivoras…

criminal/mafia boss costumes?

I honestly believe IMC never had any intention on doing Common Classes and Healer Reorganization at all, and that the livestream was just a party pleaser IMC did to pacify their kToS player base (with the Granado thing going on) so that they spend more TP, or there were changes in the team in charge of the idea that forced such a complete 180. I heard a rumor that one in charge of the game’s balance (not Kim, probably the guy who made Res Sacrae) was replaced at some point after the livestream, the previous guy probably overpromised or something and left it to the new producer who cancelled it, but probably just a rumor.

Anyone would’ve seen it coming that Common classes are impossible with IMC’s abysmal ability at balancing classes and they walked into this idea knowing the huge risks involved (no one just does an idea without any plans (jk IMC but anyways) and IMC acknowledged the problems, so its not like they didn’t know the troubles that came with it). With how many support classes are in Common classes, there’re bound to be huge implications towards existing support classes such as Full Supports and Healers, so they had to reorganize healers due to Common classes. With the main Common class idea falling apart, Healer reorganization naturally followed suit. IMC is still going to do stuff to Cleric, but from a bigger picture, that’s simply no different than any usual class reworks they always do.

As for the reworked Scout classes like Enchanter and Thaumaturge, I will not be surprised if IMC did such radical class reworks simply for testing purposes so they can re-introduce them as new classes for their “1 class per month” idea. With such a plan like Common classes in mind, they could push forward crazy ideas onto classes knowing how bad the changes are so they can pull back and release their original plans less painlessly (or again, just the fault of the previous guy in charge). The rest of the less radical class changes were going to come anyway (for example, Hassisas Dagger nerf).

Everything else in the livestream is expected to say the least: Goddess Grade (laughs in Res Sacrae), reduced costs, more Vaivora, Quality-of-Life thing, though I can give credit to their new equipment system of registering Vaivoras and what-not (heck, they claim they don’t allow ichors lower than Vaivora as they can’t balance it, no way they can balance Common classes). With that said, such things didn’t really warrant a livestream, just one Developer’s blog really.

IMC talked a grand splendor of a game on livestream to make hype while setting themselves up for failure for whatever reason, I wished they could be more clear in why they abandoned ship so fast in like, 2-3 weeks.

(Takes off nonsense conspiracy tin foil hat and toxic monk megaphone)

The livestream had 3 main factors I was waiting for (Common Class Tree, Healer Reorganization, the new Goddess Grade Equipment System), and IMC basically slashed two of them which is basically half, if not more, of the livestream, and royally screwed their plans for the first half of the year. I was expecting a lot, rather disappointing to see them get dashed like that, really.

Hurray for Zealot Vaivora though, can’t wait to see what it does as I bury the Nak Muay - Monk combo dream once again. Other than that …

Is that a new beard I see? Please don’t tell me its just a “hitman face” helmet. I’ve been waiting for another beard Hair Accessory other than Manly Man Beard and Santa Beard.

Daaang man that’s hella thiiiiiccccccc

Villain themed costumes and weapons in some next leticia cube, i guess.

again, these 49 TP upgrader coupons we’ll never get for 49 TP on iTOS.

By the way, whales now get discounts of 50% on these TP packages if the qualify as new or returning players.
I can already see whales stopping to play to get 50% discount once these packages are announced for KTOS.

the guy behind tosbase left since 2018.

they finally realize the game future is bleak, like the rest of contributors

Just using this mention to clarify some things about wiki/fandom. There were 3 major contributors to the project - me, WarNux and Kiyoshiro - and each one was driven away by a different frustration over the game management (along private non-related reasons) which just happened to be around the same time.

We still check the news and kToS thread every now and then but none of us think it’s worth investing time on the project due the circumstances. The wiki could still be worked on if the game haven’t failed all of us.

Was really excited to update the lores, and finally create Baubas’ page, but after seeing how difficult it is to level up now without investing money, then its likely I won’t be updating it unless I see gameplays or slowly level up.

Us 3 went really hardcore on the Wiki, only to see the direction it took that makes it even difficult to even try anymore. Not to mention that this is something done by fans for fans, and is one of the biggest projects around, yet IMC never cared, which is sad because it features everything they couldn’t do on their own site and will never do.

Forever ToS wiki pals, mah bois Hillgarm and Kiyo. Ily. :’(

ToS Wiki/Fandom used to be owned by inactive players and it took us (especially me because I argued a lot with the former admin) a drama to get the domain and led it to what it is now. Saviorpedia is the migration of the first ToS Wiki before we came in, and gave up by linking to ours due to nobody contributing and no administration at all. So, yeah. xd
