understatement. you still wont win with this package. just make you at average tier
People keep saying p2w but what to win in this game anyway? I see people keep saying that and there are people keep buying the packages yet they are utter trash and not even close to the people who are in Top 5

Meh, I only have an issue with the reset voucher packs, personally.
Stuff like that isnāt really as helpful as youād expect for the price (assister boxes would annoy me if they gave the fusion-only assisters, still not a big deal imo tho)
Yep, it gives the fusion assistors
By the way, in case anyone is curious about the Hacka rework, hereās a video of a HL-BB-Hacka clearing telharsha in 2:30min
r u trying to pointout that not even 1 out of that top 5 buy these packages?
assuming Top 5 means ātop5ā WBR scores or bernice top stages run.
the top 5 is probably full +21 or +16 sets with luciferi ,arks lv 10, or seal lv 4-5.
i m sure most normal players wouldnāt have maxed out ALL SKILLS(lv 100+lv 30 arts) attributes with mystic tomes.(Maxing out all Attributes+arts for 1 char literally would take Yearsā¦for average player)
yea the average player can farm everything alrightā¦just grind your life and soul in CM/DS for many months.
pay2lose(money2kim) ā¦
As someone that is trying (and failing) to get a Tiny Skia as itās either that or a normal tier for pierce attack bonus, i think i have a clear idea of where they can shove those albums that are clearly better than anything we can get ingame. Theyāre also encouraged to shove all of them together for maximum odds.
Or in another perspective, how can these people buying p2w are still not winning? tf are they doing?
stuck in another p2w luck base cycle (arch stone and lv4 vaivora)
Edit: Baby Marnox was healing, well, thatās for that. So for healing, pierce and slash you need to fuse legendaries. Good thing the boni arenāt that high for 1 star, so that doesnāt matter much, but from 2 stars onward youāre missing out some damage.
I can relate to that, though, I just got my first Misrus on Tuesday (missed 2 on select albums but oh well, canāt do anything about it), now I need 8 more⦠If it takes several months to even get a single legendary assister you can actually use (I got skiaclipse and velcoffer at 2 stars already, my luck sure is biased into the wrong direction) these packages can give you at least the progress of several months.
If you get all packages, thatās 60 tries to get the assister you need, and there are only 18 different ones, resulting in a high chance that you get at least 2 of the one you need, and for the rest, well, you can combine those you donāt need and hope for the best.
Being able to max out 5 enhance art attributes is pretty big to be honest. Thatās a full rotation of skills.
fine, slightly above average
IMC changed the effect of the Sage Vaivora.
Sage
-When casting Hole of Darkness, up to 10 enemies within range are given the [Space Distortion] debuff for 10 seconds.
Distortion
-Whenever Micro Dimension is used, deal Non-Property magic damage to targets within 400 range of you that have the [Space Distortion] debuff.
(Damage is equal to 35% of the current level of Hole of Darkness)
The 35% hit deals roughly 73% the damage of a single Micro Dimension hit, so this seems decent. Maybe it can deal two hits if using the Blink Paradox art, but I do not have access to ktest so I canāt test it myself.
While I do think this is an imprevement over what we had before, it doesnāt change how most of the time, Micro Dimension is simply not worth usingā¦
In my opinion, it has 3 problems:
- Cooldown is very low (15s)
- Too many overheats (3)
- Long animation (takes about twice the time of Shadow Thorn animation)
By themselves, these are not problems at all, but when combined it gets pretty bad⦠It is worth noting, however, that the dps of this skill is actually not bad. (hits*OH/cd) Just for comparison, it deals more dps than Fire Charm, Flame Radiation, Snow Tempest Charm. (Taking these as the examples because they are insta-cast skills much like Micro)
This skill needs one of three solutions to be viable:
- Nerf the cooldown, but increase the sfr in compensation. Maybe to 40s so it can match Hole of Darkness cooldown.
- Make the skill animation faster. This would help a lot.
- Nerf the skill to 1 overheat, but make this sole overheat deal 3x hits, with the After Effects attribute also dealing 3 hits.
Either one of these three ideas would improve Sage gameplay considerably, but I donāt even know if Imc reads the forums at all. I guess tickets are the best way to give suggestions, but who knows if it is a bot or an actual person answering thoseā¦
/rant over I guess
Demolition has ± the same animation time as all 3 Micro Dimension casts together (1.8 seconds; one MD is 0.6 seconds). I think the 0.6 seconds are ok given you can attack from a range, most of the times even 3 seconds/5 seconds of cast/channeling are not a problem.
The problem in many cases is that there are skills that deal the same damage or more instantaneously.
Sage is in an odd position right now, Wizard has lost most support classes, only Sage and Chronomancer are left (letās ignore the existence of Alchemist for now), and the vaivora is just a damage boost. Even Chronomancer vaivora went that way, probably because IMC had to acknowledge that support Wizard is dead.
Putting a damage focus on a rod is still a strange option, no idea if IMC really wants to make dagger Wizard more popular by force or maybe they ran out of ideas. Well, at least some contents allow you to swap weapons, so switching between rod + dagger and rod+shield might be an option for some Wizard builds.
I still think they should have reworked Sage with more focus on debuffing and disabling the enemy like inverting the controls, the target attacking himself, reversing friendly and enemy targets (like the moringponia raid mechanic) and moving invisibly through another dimension to strike from the void like a hitman.
Demolition is far better imo, because the hitbox is always in front of you, therefore thereās no need to aim. Meanwhile Micro has a tiny hitbox, and it doesnāt snap into targets the same way other skills such as Shadow Thorn do. Micro must be individually aimed and that is not only slow, but also requires some degree of skill to hit small targets.
For example, hereās me using 3x micro from a short distance away. Note how it takes far longer than 1.8s to use 3 overheats. I guess the aiming part is not a problem for mouse mode users, but for me it is. I often miss the telharsha spiders, for example.
This sums it up nicely. To me it appears Imc canāt decide if they want Sage to be a support or a dps, so both sides end up being bad.
However I do think it has more potential as dps than as support. Iāve been a Sage main since ep13 released, and it has some nice things going for it. For example, Ultimate Dimension (without the RC final damage boost) has about the same dps as Condensation, with Infernal and big bead mode.
While Iād prefer if they reworked the class to have a dps focus, if they make it support-centered, with support skills that actually matters outside pvp, I would gladly take it
People in top 5 make 40 mil from jsr at a daily base.
You canāt compete with them.
The p2w package is only like 1 month saver. (Save the work you would have done under normal play)
But getting to their gear level using normal play method takes a year.
Because IMC still havenāt put archstone inside.
so⦠tiny skia is a devil that is holy⦠what a plot twist!
