The worst part is healer’s defence is significantly higher than all the dps classes.
Like healer takes 20% from ww while dps class can die in a single hit from full hp.
Is not dps fault to rely on barrier, especially with mech that force you to tank hits or boss will get enraged.

I hate inq.
Is Monk really not the trend in Ktos atm for phy cleric?
They buff some skills by 3x sfr. Still not enough?

Inq is pretty much a vvr exclusive class or else all the skills are terrible with extremely long cd and narrow hit box.

Which class is not vvr exclusive? they literally made the class unplayable until you own a vvr. Then now you need vvr4 otherwise you will be playing the inferior version lmao

Monk being a trend in KToS? Nope, sadly IMC hates Monks for a very long time.

Players may look at the Monk-Chaplain patch few months ago as a huge buff to Monk, but it is really a lot more of a Quality-of-Life change for Monk, and that the patch focused more on reworking Chaplain while dealing with the repercussions of splitting the two apart. Monk skills were buffed SFR-wise, but it came with additional skill point sinks, reducing overheats and putting SFRs into skills not usually used for DPS, being One Inch Punch and God Finger Flick (not enough for them to be considered main DPS skills though). Dahlia-boosted Double Punch is quite decent, but the base skill itself is actually (IIRC) the weakest channeling skill, if not one of, in the whole game in terms of DPS and cooldown too. With all the ups and downs, the only definite buff is IMC making Nirvana not locked behind Double Punch, really.

With that said, the reason Inquisitor-Monk-Zealot works is because IMC forced that combo together (especially Malleus + Energy Blast, like really?) and that the DPS rotation somehow held up with Inquisitor burst skills (+ damage and critical chance buff) followed by Monk skills doing DPS during Inquisitor’s downtime (Energy Blast is technically a no-cooldown filler). Inquisitor’s Vaivora Lvl 4 changes that by greatly reducing Ripper’s cooldown so players focus more on spamming Ripper instead of using Monk’s time-consuming skills rendering Monk much less effective, especially Nirvana where you technically lose Energy Blast DPS the less time you have to use it. Inquisitor on its own has exponentially more power than other physical cleric classes via Ripper + Inquisitor buffs + Dahlia + Vaivora (+ Laima buff), making the build greatly shift from making a build spending time utilizing DPS skills from all 3 class trees, into a class build solely focused on buffing Inquisitor or have fast enough bursts to fit in during Inquisitor’s downtime. Along with how unsuited Golden Bell Shield is for buffing Inquisitor, KToS players started using other classes to focus on buffing Inquisitor instead now, be it Druid, Dievdirbys, Chaplain, Kabbalist and even Paladin over Monk. Because of that, Monk remains out of the trend.

IMC recently buffed Druid and Krivis recently, opening up more options for non-Inquisitor Monk builds to get closer to Inquisitor damage-wise, but IMO Monk needs more balancing and a Vaivora to stand on par with Inquisitor. As physical cleric classes, Inquisitor and Monk have conflicting class designs (Torture Expert VS Nirvana, burst VS skill spamming) and I really want a Monk build without Inquisitor. Until then, Monk is just an Energy Blast CM machine that loses to Inquisitor’s Breaking Wheel + Ripper.

So if you play a scout before you’d know we always use 3 weapons on most setup because this is how this game is designed. (class combination and such)

So why the hell we’re completely block off half of our class skills in auto que because it does not allow weapon swap?

The real question is why is the weapon in the offhand is considered a weapon swap to begin with?
We have 2 weapon slots for a reason.

Is this a design oversight or intentionally trying to kill off scouts for good?
Do KTOS change this already?

News from KTOS suggestions to IMC

-IMC is removing the location display of players in the friends list

-Life content and guild content have been delayed due to limited development resources and higher priorities

-IMC is adding the old Boruta Wing effect available to purchase through Medals of Honor

-They are adding an option to hide your shield

-PVP content such as GTW improvements were planned for 2020, but delayed due to limited development resources. However, IMC is aware of its importance, and they plan to overhaul and update it in the second half of 2021 (around October)

-IMC has chosen not to create the party status board as previously discussed in order to focus on automatching for content with low entry requirements and frequent use

-Emotes are planned to become team-wide, however, will take some time; they also plan to divide titles between types of character achievements (such as raid clears, quest clears, PVP rank, etc)

Players requested it be removed or an option be added to hide your location for privacy. A large reason is Guild Territory Wars, but people have their own other reasons as well.

IMC has chosen to remove it.

Always remove something most people probably don’t care at all and ignore something that’s more crucial. (So did they fix the auto que swap weapon issue for Scout already or they just think is ok to kill off 20% of playbase in auto que? Imagine only using half of your skills in Giltine auto raid because of this dumb restriction)

Or Korean are some special snowflakes?

how many year will it take till they hide monk weapon.

Why they were char bound in the first place still eludes me… Imagine paying for the popolion emote package for each of the 40 chars you can have on your team… Currently I have all the emotes on one char, some on others (when they give 3x boxes) and none on the rest. Feels silly.
