i thought they change new seed bomb max target from 5 to 10.
but this doesnt do the justice as well without attribute like piety:focus.
at maximum on its own new seed bomb should be able to reach 3k+ x 10 = 30k+ per overheat assuming all the splashes are stacked.
but then seed bomb will still be in same situation like gregorate where there is less party member/installation or in new seed bomb case less mob, the skills dmg drop drastically, making your possible 15 skill points become a waste.
even with contents like cm the mobs are spreaded in quite distance, unless the splash area effects is awesome, but i doubt that. and even in content like ds pt/solo you can aggro less than 10 elites+boss, sometimes theres even less mobs if your kill speed is nice which means reducing the dmg capability.
therefore such attribute like piety:focus shouldve implemented for skill like gregorate/new seed bomb that calculate the loss and increase the dmg.
like if seed bomb only detect 1 and given the max target is 10 that will increase its dmg by 10 times / 1000%. and when gregorate spread by only 1 and give its max target is 5 it will increase the damage by 5 times / 500%.

An art for Piety has been added.
-Increases the damage of Piety when there are 5 or less targets.
-The smaller the number of targets, the greater the damage increase.
Iâm not too sure, maybe the fact that the plants have no HP so they canât be killed, and the plantâs attack is basically a rather short linear range that can hit more than one target, but because it IS a short linear attack, donât expect to hit many things with it. They also stay for a short time before disappearing, but you can re-summon them with Chortasmata as long as Carnivory buff is up since the buff is technically 100% uptime.
I only have a surface level understanding about summons, so I canât pinpoint any useful things about them, sadly.
Just to confirm, 5 was just a random number I came up with as an example, Seed Bomb can indeed hit more than 5 targets. Iâm really not feeling it much about new Druid, to be honest.

they shouldve make carnivory summon moringponia mini gribas, and make an art that will change it to summon griba.
griba will hit aoe like big skeleton arts and causing poison by chance and mini griba will explodes.
the synergy is mini griba can be marked as seed bomb target and when they get the debuff deals 2x dmg based on carnivory skill level.
also its going to be funny when you enter moringponia and the griba fight each other.
maybe the nerfs in the druid could be some kind of preparation for a possible vaivora in the near future just like they did with the inquisitor ?.

Considering the state of Cleric DPS at the moment, the last thing Magic Cleric needed was a nerf really. Druid just got really complicated DPS-wise (RIP its healing if you use Guardian Saint attribute), Crusaderâs healing (lel, like what are they trying to do with Guardian Saint attribute to make you pick between damage and healing, then reducing Crusaderâs healing to non-existence) and its strongest DPS move Holy Smash got screwed, and Exorcist got screwed by lack of Skill Points and Damage cap. I also think about Plague Doctors who now have to decide between survability or final damage with Guardian Saintâs new attribute.
The only reasons I can think of for these changes are (none are really good):

To make room in the DPS rotation for Sadhu, Chaplain and Krivis (too many overheats) while still keeping an âoverallâ DPS increase in a Magic Cleric build, though this forces builds to start incorporating them âŚ? (Pfft, IMC left those classes out to rot for so long they literally become cancer to screw with Magic Clerics)

Open up new support DPS hybrid playstyles in Additional Damage builds and Summon Cleric Support builds that can also heal since they donât benefit from Guardian Saint 10% final damage attribute and can make use of the healing power like Priest-Chaplains or Druid Chortasmata Healing Garden (Naaaaaah)

Intentionally nerf various aspects of classes to make way for new Vaivora effects and Arts (Sasuga IMC).
Funny thing for me is that all this is at the expense of Magic Cleric classes, meanwhile Physical Clerics just watch the whole thing go by while getting free 10% final damage and Krivis changes (and Druid changes I guess, lel) at virtually no cost (like really, what is healing power to Physical Cleric).
i personally dont have problem with guardian saint because they change it into âfinal damageâ which i supposed much better than just âdamageâ or âcrit dmgâ
of course the number is still pretty darn low to me.
this is practically a bootleg version of critical shot [50% final dmg on crit increase and absurdly 100% uptime] [which makes ranger broken, and surprisingly still untouchable cause damn the whale so into it now] but without the need to crit it seems.
also because i rarely use heal cause i always use faith for extra burst and heal is like 3rd option of healing source next to 2/3 type of hp potions simply because using pot animation is so damn faster than using heal and you can use it while walk/run which is nut. heal is my very last option when every hp pot in cd.
to me this simply make option between dps vs heal become more clear, kinda like old fanaticism in base class, but again pretty darn low boost!! startup got 100% with 20-30s downtime, ranger got 50% with 100% uptime!!, and cleric need to lose its healing capability by HUGE sum to get, 10%, cmon⌠15% sounds like more acceptable at very least. 20% fair and above that you are being generous and smart imc.
also imo pd healing factor doesnt really need guardian saint, its self healing is awesome as it is.but with the huge heal reduce i ll definitely pick healing guardian saint over dmg boost if the content is medium hard above simply because healing factor heal is dope.
as for sadhu idk man it passed its rework session rather disappointing and the next time it will get another rework again is unknown cause many other neglected classes are queueing here
as for exo its finally good to see koinonia which rarely used kicked out for new magic circle. i hope the same fate happen to carnivory, transform, shape shifting, iron maiden in pve, malleus except for just monk benefit etcs.
what i see is exo now have 3 magic circle skills which is going to be great if you choose the path of magic circle steroid but then the problem is its lv 4 vv is focus on rubric which you cant max if you want to maximize exo magic circles.
but hey!!
maybe exo vv lv 8 lv or lv 16 or lv 256 or lv 1024 will have grand cross +1000% dmg.

the abyssmal drop rate and steadily decreasing playerbase to grind these vv wont frighten us to hoard 1000+ same copies of vv. chill.
Startup and Critical Shot are both class skills of subclasses while guardian saint is a base class skill. Every cleric will have the ability to pick up these attributes, while the aforementioned subclasses are locked to specific weapontypes. They are also crit damage only, which is a factor in overall effectiveness.
I would be worried that if the damage buff was too strong, that IMC would consider that to be Clerics baseline damage output for balancing concerns and shut down off-healing in its entirety unless you donât wanna DPS. I would change the heal reduction to something less severe, but still a noticable price to pay like 50% healing.
I guess IMC gutting heals for DPSes could be a good plan to justify bringing them in line with other class trees in terms of DPS and that could justify a bigger damage increase with severe heal loss, but as we have witnessed with these new changes, i donât have a lot of faith in their DPS cleric balancing to bring cleric up to speed with other trees while sacrificing their healing abilities.
On the topic of exorcist. The new skill seems kinda boring. Its basically a targeted condemn with a longer cooldown, and i donât like the complete synergy train we have between Benedicta, Katadikazo and Grand Cross. I want to be able to cast my skills on my own terms, rather than in this doppel-tier combo. Admittedly, anything is an improvement over Koinonia, since it never got used.
compare it with concentration and swift step, that skill is have weakest effect for basic class buff , because now boss have high acc and crit resist
This is one of the reasons I stopped playing FF14, being forced into lengthy skill combos to achieve the best possible DPS results. It was so monotone and mind-numbingly boring. Thereâs a happy medium with having hidden skill interactions between class skills, but doing the exact same rotation over and over again kills the excitement of combat.
Itâs probably one of the worst design choices in MMORPGâs and video games in general.
The change in katadikazo is a great nerf thinking about his vv the one I made in lvl 2, I already hit the cap without the damage buff with the big spear and itâs sad that vv just hit it once and with these changes it will stay even worse.
I think the aqua kata and rubric combo is even better at comparing damage.

currently, with exo-crus-miko you can only rely on omikuji crit rate quick steroid which is RNG buff that last for only 20~22 second and 80~50sec downtime, but then you would probably prefer having the patk/matk steroid anyway, the next you can rely is hamaya crit resist reduce which last for 10 sec and 10~6 sec downtime, the next one is⌠none.
you gotta pick druid to get some crit steroid but you end up become slow dotsy dps playstyle like how you pick wugushi which no one would prefer cause most archer prefer spam skill fast with swift step and DEX boost and spams yellow easily with 16%~20% crit rate boost!.

you dont really have to test yourself when those ktest/ktos have the access of playing them early and test things 3+ months earlier than us here. we got what they got and our meta are their meta, if cleric be good like how mergen suddenly be good after its latest patch we wouldve seen increase of its vv price or any other sh*ts the build needs like gem will increase in price. things are forecasted. we would also see more videos of cleric doing 2 min tel harsha or any other contents better or at least equal with another build. dont play dumb with your i dunnos.

Basic Attack Hit Delay
For every classâs basic attack, hit stop is induced to somehow introduce delays between normal attacks. During somewhere between EP11 and EP12 patch, It is made that DEX will decrease this hit stop time, allowing you to basic attack faster. However, Limacon does not have hit stop to begin with so it literally doesnât matter where it matters the most. Future Binato does benefit from this.
