feels like its not as great as prominence flame jewel because of the “blind spot” and require some positioning when dealing against single mob.but at least it become more interesting.

also i hope it copies mace/2h mace skin as well, not just the base weapon
and i wonder why bong not use the combo of katadikazo+grandcross properly in that another video

No its 60 hits in 30 seconds depending on how you position it.

Prominence has a blind spot as well, but has a fatter hitbox compared to this new Ring of Light. Also Ring of Light hits faster and more often than compared to Prominence. However Prominence has a shorter cooldown.
Prominence hits about 30 times, 30 sec duration, 45 cd.
Ring of Light hits about 60 times, 30 sec duration, 75 cd.

It does not, it only copies the base weapon. As you can see in the video, Bong uses a Vaivora skinned Varna mace, but the skill shows it as the base Varna Mace.

yeah i saw that. thats where imc miss the creativity part and the opportunity to make it cooler.

combine it with zealot and pd just for fun seems interesting idea lol
running with fanaticism and ring of light
or change pd to krivis and get a pd to run around, triggering that piety to aukuras-ed mobs

Oh jeez, that’s a lot. They basically make ring of light super op for dps. I also notice there’s buff icon, so it look like we can take advantage of buff enchant to extend the duration.

75 cooldown… with laima statue.

75 x (20% CD) = 60
75 x (28% CD) = 54

28% coming out from carve art, hengestone, divine might, and skill gem.

it’s just the average number for offensive skill, plus it have to skill point from other crus skill. Prolly an option for non crus vvr.

The buff icon should be overload raid, 30s duration.

pretty much this right here. Seems to be for the non vv crusaders who main a different class. For instance the my holy dogo build (when this comes out). Druid-Crusader-X. Of course I main Druid and when the VV comes even more so (better be for lycanthropy wolf form…).

non crus vvr lv 4 to be exact imo.
having crus vv to switch seems nice to get that chant skill lvl+1.though im not playing crus and its vv anymore cause i switch to patk style so i dont know if the +1 level bonus intact if you switch.
also because vvr4 crus focus on holy smash and sacred, then pog and condemn are too good to miss cause they are magic circle, so rol is the sacrifice like how much we neglected rol til this day lol. i personally dont like holy smash, and i still hate that its lv 4 vv focus on it thats why i give up on it and go bow meta/inquisitor lol. i read that holy smash skill animation is adjusted, but i doubt it wont be as sluggish as current.

my imagination are wild as well but i always ready for disappointment because i know who im dealing with. :tired:

Just a bit more information digging around (and chatting with Crevox):

Krivis Piety’s SFR is 997% + 997.5% per skill level, and it is confirmed that Krivis’s Brilliance debuff is indeed the same debuff that Pardoner Master’s Card has (so good luck whoever didn’t get the Pardoner Master’s card the last cycle). Piety’s ART increases damage done by Piety when there are 5 or less targets, the smaller the number, the bigger the damage:

5 targets = +50%
4 targets = +60%
3 targets = +70%
2 targets = +80%
1 target = +90%

I had mixed feelings about Piety prior to trying out its Art, but after getting my hands on it, its Art really makes Piety awesome especially for a skill on 3 Overheats and 10 second cooldown :innocent:.

Now IMC, please let this Krivis buff pass on to KToS quietly without any nerfs …

it really depend on ktos cleric community, how they fight for it, but for past years they are disappointing, they arent that much of a fighter to give imc a fightback that will make imc undo its decisions if its a nerf. unlike many things that happen to another tree, especially whale meta tree.
and most likely the guy behind this decision got his ears on some feedback group that most likely dont play cleric or dislike cleric reflected by how many nerf clerics received.
remember previous kabbalist buff that nerf before its up?
and hamaya+entity nerf even though hamaya area is so sucks?
im not gonna surpised if all these goodies are nerfed.

also they increase thorn area and range but reduce thorn number of hits but no changes to its dmg? damn i hope they at least make attribute or arts so thorn can be a single target focus for bossing, like what they do to piety

As a Druid main I find the reduced number of hits with no change to Thorns damage a nerf. However, it seems like they are trying to make Druid a more AoE focused class. Seed bomb changes makes it so much better the more enemies you face. No longer needing to stay next to the enemy, nor requiring to wait or get hurt. The added enemy count and radius changes to the skills solidifies my guess even more. More than likely Lycanthropy (wolf form) is meant to be a single target skill, and the rest of druids kit is meant for large amounts of AoE.

Sterea Trofh change is much QoL, however I am to dumb/lazy to figure out if this is a net buff or loss for overall crit damage. Seeing as Druid has the biggest crit buff modifier we could get from any cleric class. Can anyone crunch the numbers? @4lkruzeth @crevox @ShanochiTV

Also what’s happening with Carnivory? Is it still a meme? I haven’t seen any videos or info on its change.

With the changes they made to Holy Smash OH, RoL is only a sacrifice if you’re using the Crusader VV. If not, RoL is now a better substitute for Holy Smash. Retaliation number wise, is your worst skill in the Crusader Tree. Its only benefit being a ranged skill and not a melee.

Also having the RoL art is basically a 1.5 times damage increase to RoL, of course if you hit your enemy for the full duration. Not to mention it frees up GCD windows for more skills while it is actively doing damage.

prominence hits around 90 times if you play it right but ok

Im just using the base of standing still and letting the skill hit

Sterea troph attribute is a net increase in overall crit damage (30% vs 70% * 1/3rd uptime (around 23% on average) But that doesnt account for burning all your strong burst skills during the short crit damage bonus (Like inquisitor snipper)
Party play like dievdirby also make the low duration version more efficient (31.5% on average assuming laima lv13) which pushes it above constant duration if you can time it efficiently.

I am also curious to better understand how the carnivory will work.

exactly. they may increase henge stone dmg increase by 20% but they incapitate thorn dmg by 50%+ in return for more aoe.

but then i read from google rough translation it only affect mobs in front

if this is true its just another disappointment again. i hope it works like it used to in term of area effect, its a nice option asides from entity to kill tiny mobs like those candle spiders.

this definitely an improvement. i ll take 30 min sterea trofh any day. the enhance attribute still applied too which is nice. in party play with diev maxed laima theres still 11-12 sec downtime which is nice for bursting

i got little hope for this, i expect nothing.
the current carnivory is so garbo and they still continue with the concept. now that seed bombs change its only worth to spread more gregorate, proc hits for arks like thunder/storm but then thorn still do better because they are slow, and thats it. i wish they just change into something else with better synergies with the rest of druid skills, and the rest of the tree cause it feels like its lacking in skills synergies, druid is still just a steroid with henge+sterea trofh and dots, like wugushi combine with cheap version of appraiser with lacking dps on its own.
they couldve make chortasmata increase poison dmg, makin nice additive to pd druid combo, for god sake make thorn can immobilize boss than can also get frozen, make thorn synergies another druid/cleric skills, make believe the attribute that changes druid skill attribute from matk type to patk type adding pyhsical type attributes like slash,strike,pierce etc so its just not bland changes. or my dream thats never come true which makes awoo do double punches aa even though technicaly they do double scracthes aa but they can combine it to aa focus but no, double punch aa no more, and leaves hope with chap, but again i expect nothing.

Another day, another free class reset in KTest to fill in some more information, and confirm some of your worst fears about the patch (since the KTest patch notes seem incomplete with how they showed Krivis’s new skill, Piety and how they left out Krivis skills being holy now):

Druid:

  • Henge Stone’s skill animation is faster
  • Thorns’ SFR was not increased to compensate for the lack of hits so yes its a damage nerf, though its AoE and size makes you feel like Hashirama (the width of the skill is like x2 the corridors of Sajunga)
  • Seed Bomb’s SFR also did not change, and the skill’s damage has splash effect, so 5 mobs with Seed Bomb will deal 5x Seed Bomb damage to each other.
  • Chortasmata’s AoE is stupid huge
  • Carnivory is a buff that summons 9 plants at random locations on your Chortasmata, using Carnivory after Chortasmata does not summon them
  • From first impressions, Carnivory’s damage is poop, but to be fair I don’t have summoner equipment and ichor to actually judge this part. All of them attack like once per 3 seconds or so.

Crusader

  • Purple Aura is default Chants Aura, say goodbye to the holy Yellow Aura
  • Holy Smash’s SFR also did not change so yes, its basically a nerf.

finally chortasmata area somewhat close to flame ground area. but i still think flame ground still bigger.

as expected, carnivory still rubbish. i hope cleric ktos community can do their jobs right by complain about this its-been-a-garbo-skill-for-too-long, just like neglected transform or shapeshifting. of course picking carnivory gonna be another skill point sink but at least make it better like what they do to RoL, even better without the need of art or attribute. an addition to druid playstyle.

now if they are tanky, like how plants are in this game, with good duration,and they can force threat of regular/elite mobs and absorb hits or reduce dmg you take when you nearby the plant by decent%, and even at 1 skill point you get like 5 plants and extra 5 plants with maxed 5 skill point, that will be a different story.

I can already a lot of players will favor in Druid compared to Sadhu due to new changes to Crit buff. 30 mins crit damage buff is super nice, and making Druid less painful to spams trofh every 30 seconds or so (without CD buff).


Sterea Trofh: Lasting Effect
New attribute added.
-Increases Physical and Magic critical damage dealt by (Skill Level * 3)% for 30 minutes.
-This increase receives the effect of the enhance attribute.
-Max attribute level: 1
-Increases the cooldown time by 15 seconds.


If we look closer at the crit damage buff along with new enhance attribute, that’s roughly around 48% crit damage for 30 mins. Much stronger compare to Sadhu in term of damage crit buff, and extra 40% damage boost compared to Sadhu’s Prana.

Even if you’re using the normal trofh just for 100%+ crit damage, the long term 30 mins crit damage is already strong enough to replace the lack of DPS while waiting for the skill to goes off cooldown.

(70% x 0.60) = 42% + 70% = 112% crit damage for 15 seconds
(30% x 0.60) = 18% + 30% = 48% crit damage for 15 seconds.

This is for the trofh calculation, and I believes you can pump out more if you run Sadhu + Druid + Crusader build and utilizes Chant to convert everything into holy-type skill and use Sadhu’s Armor art for 25% min crit to Holy. (45% Min crit if you have level 10 DL marnox card. Super broken against high CR bosses/monsters).


There are a few cleric classes with crit damage at the moment:

Krivis = Zalciai (Additive)
Sadhu = Prana (Additive)
Druid = Sterea Trofh (Additive)

Zealot = Blind Faith (Final Damage calculation)

Did you find anything useful for the summon? Since they changed the seed bomb, I can only think Gregorate or Kabbalist’s reflect against bosses while having plant summoned. Also, using grass again resummon 9 plants?
