So IMC used the opportunity they had as they were working on a Bow class to rework the Bow archetype, and them followed with a rework for the musket and cannon archetypes? All on the same patch?

Wow…that is a LOT!

Fletcher reloads their quiver, Ranger is the “mobility” archer, Mergen…is Mergen-ing around with AOE, as always, Musketeer feels more rapid-fire without “Sniper’s Serenity”, Tiger Hunter is…hunting better (?), Arquebusier is better at AOE-ing (or I dunno, those changes are weird to read until we see the numbers). Meanwhile, Cannoneer…is saved? For the 10th time? And I hope the new Matross isn’t as clunky as now.

So, about the new class…“Hwarang” is the name of the new class. I wonder if they will change when hits iTOS.

They should’ve implement the segregated buff effect before they nerf hundreds of buffs since years ago, now the buff class owner will just suffer especially when it’s the main thing it’s offer for its own class or it’s own tree e.g that ein sof or old aiming. The case always a buff become too good for another tree skill, and the answer to it is they nerf the buff instead apply this kinda segregated buff effect. It’s long time pain suffered for many classes yet those good effects won’t just return.

November Update - New Class: Hwarang

Master’s Request - New Class [Hwarang]

In the November class update, a new class gallery will be added. Requests from the master of the gallery will be added, and as a reward, you can obtain an achievement-only title and public costume.

Hwarang can use a two-handed bow to maximize its effectiveness when fighting with allies. Hwarang values ​​camaraderie and collusion among its members, and spends enough time to nurture itself. This culture of cooperation and self-management had a considerable influence on Hwarang’s tactics. A group composed of or led by a Hwarang is usually the first person to announce the victory on the battlefield.

Hwarang is a two-handed bow class that can perform both attack and party support. When you have a teammate than when you are alone, you can use your skills more widely, and after hitting an enemy with a skill, you can launch an additional attack on your own or give a beneficial buff to your allies.

Hwarang is an archer class that can attack enemies from a distance and also serve as a party assistant. All of Hwarang’s skills can only be used with a two-handed bow.

Hwarang uses the class-only buff [Vitality], and depending on the situation, she can use her vitality to perform an additional attack or grant a beneficial buff to party members.

The core attack skill [(Pyeonjeon)] fires an unguided projectile with a long range after casting. You can only get the vitality buff that allows you to use other skills only by hitting the (Pyeonjeon) skill, so hitting the (Pyeonjeon) in the right place at the right time is the key to operating the Hwarang class.

The [Arrow Dancing] skill is a skill that compensates for the difficulty of manipulation of (Pyeonjeon). It can be used without consuming vitality, and is designed as a skill that allows you to easily acquire the vitality buff with a channeling wide-area attack.

Descriptions of enhancement and advanced enhancement arts are omitted, and the contents applied to the actual live may differ from the following.

  • Gives buffs to party members around you for the duration.

(궁무) - (Arrow Dancing)

Channeling time 2 seconds

  • After scattering arrows on the ground, they unleash a bow.
  • Fires a total of 3 arrows forward, dealing damage to enemies within range.
  • The third arrow has a higher skill factor.
  • When the archery starts, you gain 2 stacks of the [Vitality] buff for 6 seconds, and the enemy hit by the third arrow is given the [여흔] or Ninety debuff.

Ranger Class Reorganization

In line with the addition of Hwarang and the independence of buffs, some archer classes have skill reorganizations. Targets are classes that use two-handed bows, muskets, and cannons.

Ranger would have a hard time with skill point management, if this wasn’t the case.

  • Ranger-Fletcher-Appraiser
  • Ranger-Hwarang-Appraiser

or other Ranger combinations once ktos received the new archer update.

I fixed a few things on Hwarang translation and i just realized that this class has the same stacking mechanic as Sadhu.

You have to use (애기살) - (Pyeonjeon) and (궁무) - (Arrow Dancing). These two skills provide Vitality buff, which allows you to perform Hwarang skills. The Vaivora increased your maximum vitality stack from 2 > 4.

Fletcher Class Reorganization

Fletcher: The conventional Fletcher’s skillset consisted of only active attack skills, making it inconvenient to use, and the attack skills had a dry concept with no features. Accordingly, the Fletcher class has been completely redesigned to simplify operation and give the class a personality.

The reworked Fletcher will be able to use all 4 Fletcher Arrow skills with one key skill [Fletcher Arrow Shot], and gain temporary wide-area attack ability and mobility with the [Catena Chain Arrow] skill.

The Fletcher is an all-weather ranged dealer class that can be a good choice when attacking skills are lacking in the Archer class tree configuration because two weapons are compatible with the two-handed bow and crossbow.

Lemme see if i got this right… Fletcher is mostly a passive buff class for bow/xbow basic attacks (?) and you can use the active effect with a new skill, which will deactivate the passive while on cooldown, by using it first, then the skill you want to activate. The activation skill is completely pointless, but it’s a great rework for the class fantasy regardless.

Whoever is leading these latest reworks/releases deserves a raise.

the only thing I want from the monk is for the hand knife to be an independent skill and to avoid being stuck to the ground with double punch, it would be better if the skill was a powerful punch that could be used twice.

PD: because the changes that can be seen in the news do not look so bad, but they are not enough and I know that publishing this will be useless, because the devs some time ago came out with the excuse of the language barrier, this will be just words to the air.

Probably not. IMC has said multiple times they intend to leave Alchemist and Squire as crafting classes and will not try to rebalance them for battle.

It’s possible when the Wizard remake month rolls around they’ll do something if enough KR users ask for it, but don’t expect anything.

well, if they continue as crafting classes, they could at least fix things like the time it takes to make the potions, update the magnum opus, update the list of craftable ingredients or even do something related to the items obtainable by reputation or something. Because one thing is to leave a class focused on something and another is to leave it dead and stuck in times before the RE: build.
Sometimes I feel that at IMC they believe that players are obsessed with homunculi, when all you want is a functional class and updated to current times.
