I read before this was only 10% but in the new patch notes says 100%, plus they add more damage in all the sheriff skills, plus you can use the joint penalty Art to do 100% more damage Iām scared now O_O

The scale of the changes with Archer and Scout ā¦ makes me wonder in fear and delight how Sadhu and Hunter will go (IMC didnāt forget about them right ā¦?)
It was listed at the August roadmap, so Iām giving them the benefit of waiting till next week hahaha
Given that pretty much all changes stated there, besides Sadhu and Hunter, were implemented this last kTOS patch, they are free to deal with these 2 classes next week.
As a Sadhu player, Iām both excited and worried. SFRs today are not bad, they are OK. Prana is also nice. Hope they change the mechanics but donāt freak up the SFR to something too low for a cleric tree class.
Prakriti worries me the most. It is really bad damage-wise, and it seems that it will be one of the core damaging skills after rework. Hope they donāt make it crap and completely dependant on Vashitta to be somewhat decent. I also hope that they realize psychokinesis skills (aka only Sadhu skills in the whole cleric tree) should not rely on Prana too much to deal better damage. They sure like this kind of conceptā¦ Prana for Psychokinesis, OoB for ABE, and now Vashitta for Prakriti.
Alsoā¦ What happened with the Sadhu - Chaplain - Monk kind of synergies stated a couple of months ago?
Hunter and Sadhu buffs are always welcome, but can we give some love to Quarrel Shooters and buff or rework some of their skills?
I wish they sat down and took time to develop PvE content that actually encouraged use of those skills. Weāre losing what little diversity and interesting concepts the game still had in favor of damage damage damage.
probably because it was long ago that the developers actually did something beneficial for clerics and wizards.
Their main problem is the clunky gameplay (channeling/casting/animation delay) and the complete lack of usefulness for many skills, even damage skills.
In contrast to other classes where low damage skills have a beneficial side effect like inflicting status ailments or providing movement (either you moving or the enemy is moved by means of knockback or knockdown), clerics and wizards mostly havenāt arrived at a stage similar to swordsmen/archers/scouts yet where they can move and attack freely, chain skills for enhanced effects,etc.
Some of the few good skill effects can even be sold (via buff shop or scrolls), making it more ridiculous seeing all these people abuse Daino/Zalciai but in return you donāt get access to the good buffs on their trees.
We can talk about that again once IMC reduces animation time, skill delay, cast time/delay and makes cleric&wizard skills executable while moving/continuing to move (Taglio-style e.g.) and gives every buff a proper use in gameplay, not just a niche for 1-2 contents that can be cleared without it just as well.
As much i can tell from my experience Swordsman and Archer are still a lot clunky and stuck quite easily with most builds, making them really hard to master. And just like in Jurassic Park ālife finds a wayā.
Just donāt go burning one entire tree just because of 1 or 2 builds inside that tree. Wizards got Gembu, clerics got exorcist etc etc. Every tree has its op thing.
I will not put down balance problems (op this or horrible that). Balancing is needed on every tree and that makes the process reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaly slooooooooooooooow.
Now that we got uniform gemstone, it will be faster to see what needs adjustments here and there.
It seems like the Korean community isnāt too thrilled with the new balance plans as well. In the worst case, your favorite class might have to wait 6+ months to be able to catch up again with the other classes. Thereās an issue, if some classes run around with skills that are stronger at lvl 1 than most other skills are currently at max lvl 15.
It wouldāve made more sense to wait a few months with this heavy balance patch until theyāre able to buff all classes at the same time instead of creating this huge power gap for a few months.
Such a tragic imbalance patch that suddenly makes 10000% skills the norm, while many other classes are left behind, especially the already unpopular classes.
And Corsairās Quick and Dead can go up to 26000% with the new demon lord pistol (all skills +2) and a skill gem.
And here i am surviving with skills that canāt even pass 1000% with max level/passiveā¦
why?
So, 1 arrow of Zenith deals more damage than Snipe and the whole skill with 10 arrows and 2 OH deals ~28 times more damage?
Stormy balancing has just started. With extreme buffs/nerfs and huge amounts of salt.
I canāt wait to see whatās going to happen with hunter. I plan to use it with Bergen depending
IMC pulling of a Reversi after saying they pulled off Re:Build to reduce damage numbers for easier balancing going forward
With all these changes, will we see for the first time a skill that can do 5000%+ skill factor of damage in a single hit in Musketeer?
