KToS General Thread v4.0

Boruta map itself I thought was great for GVG, why add a stupid dragon with like 20b HP?

GTW is also pretty good, but it wouldn’t hurt to have something more akin to the original GVG, or hell, have other GVG modes with a purpose/goal that isn’t just deathmatch. Or… okay, deathmatch would be great too. Capture the Flag? Anything.

isn’t murmillo rod retiarius like one of the top PvP builds in TOS right now?

Yep, because of the broken shield push, not because of the damage skills, 30 sec of “silence” (because is not a silence is a bug) is too much broken to not be a top in PvP.

And the murm helmet to resist 50% of debuff…

I mean sure but what will likely happen is we’ll swap either murm or rod for nak muay anyway
at least it makes sense in my head :tired:

In that case you lose one of the important aspect of the murm - rode - reti build, If you don’t have murm you will be CC until dead, without Rode you can’t CC properly, only with Reti if you don’t have enough DPS its hard to kill anyone with good gear and atleast right now Nak its not the best in DPS, I’m not sure how good is in Ktos.

oh I mean after the mega buff it’ll receive
it was hitting 999999 on everything last I checked on ktos
Edit: Kraujasless

well, since nobody mentioned this

  • 증폭

  • 하시사스 치명타 대미지 증가 수치가 스킬 레벨당 3%로 적용

Hashasas - amplification

  • Increased Hashasth Critical Damage by 3% per skill level

piqued*, my mistake

Obviously you don’t know how helm buffs helmet and shield skills. The SFR for scutum, headbutt is quite high with Low CD

The only issue with shield class now is How some skills lack built in aoe ratio

Anyway, I found this while seeking White Crow walkthrough. Can you make it into better translation for us? @crevox

Credits to : Bong TOS, Ludo Game, and whoever got into the screenshot (yea, I’m very bad at reading Korean language)

EDIT#1

Someone has translated it lol, my bad for not looking into it further. Thanks to the translator and @Shi_Septiana who gave me the link.

Your comments sounds right, but there’s a problem, that’s the hour thing.

Not everyone can make it to GTW at Sundays, at least those who have a life. And guilds will probably make Boruta raids at Sunday. And it keeps getting worse, since it has a 30 characters limit entry, guilds will probably make it like only the top players who participate on the GTW can participate on Boruta.

Seriously, I really really hate this boruta change.

Let’s not throw out ridiculous statements like this. You’re going to start a useless conversation.

But yeah, Boruta time has always been an issue, whether it’s for one group or another. All event and game times won’t be good for everybody. I don’t think there’s an easy solution for every single server that makes it so the time will be fair for everyone.

Right- so… guild raid means you and your guild can decide a time or you can find a guild that works with your schedule…

If your guild doesn’t share it’s loot from guild content, find a new guild. This is a uniquely you or your guild problem.

Do we have any information regarding kToS players feedback on double ichor? Are the 2h wielders complaining about the stat gap already? Has IMC positioned themselves about that, some compensation or exchange system? etc.

If 2h complain can we comment on the cost of RNG/Transing and even crafting 2 pieces of equipment to be 1h? Savinose is double cost (more or less this would apply to velcoffer as well) for your gear before enhancing and 1 more pot on 2h is amazing given the golden socket meta of the equipment (not to mention how much they’re being handed out in 2x raid cubes, sprout event, dark package, wake up package).

EDIT: Wording was off

I’m only asking it because i don’t see, even with those points, 2h weapons being in equal foot with double ichor. The rough difference in base Atk between 1h and 2h is about 2.6k being T10, even then the secondary stats aren’t that much higher (2h Asio Spear and 1h Wastrel Spear being significantly close). Also, a legendary +6 Shield T5 provides 9.6k def, quite a significant value for little to no investment ignoring blocking ability gained from shields.

If you make a +16 1h Spear T10 with the previous mention legendary shield you have a total (rounded) cost of 6.550k silver + 183 blessed gems, a +16 2h Spear T10 of same equipment line is 7.290k silver + 213 blessed gems. Even with the -1 potential the cost for opening gem slots is considerably lower since the price scales based on the slot number (i don’t have the numbers here but i’d expect all 3 shield slots to be equivalent or less than the 4th slot).

That also ignoring the fact that that (at least velcoffer, don’t know if they changed it for other lines) pamokas enchantment cost for a 2h weapon is 50% the total value of a set, if you apply it to a shield not only you gain flexible use for multiple characters (which only excludes Scouts), in fact it allows players to use any equipment set they want regardless of the weapon choice such as a Kraujas with Savinose Rod. Wizards also have Rod Mastery to be factored in as well which on its own already had players discussing the reliability of Staves.

So yeah… that’s why i’m asking how they’re taking it since IMC might hear them.

I’m not saying 2h doesn’t have issues.

Your argument isn’t fair though saying 6.5M vs 7.3M silver investment. That is a perfect +16 full pot weapon and ignores RNG of failing muultiple times for higher silver cost or outright bricking the weapon and needing to start over (even worse for shields which enhance like crap since they are ‘armor’).

All that said what do you balance for? The solution can’t be increasing the damage alone. Passive effects like block pen, accuracy, crit rate?

One way to give 2h weapon some advantages could be giving some classes really strong attributes that could compensate for the numbers.
