KToS General Thread v4.0

More people should go Chrono+Alche. Most ideal party after heal nerf should be 3 dps + 1 healer + 1 support wiz (chrono/alche). Healer should have oracle as well - the divine might makes quite a hell lot more difference for Chrono/Alche’s contribution.

Pass -> more heals and dps
Reincarnate -> on-demand revive with 2 mins CD (caster needs to be alert on who seems to be dying)
Time Forward -> Less aggressive boss if a strong skill was chosen
Stop -> Cancels certain skills if used right (at least on Velco)
Backmask -> Very niche if priest is around with soul crystal, but still good for certain emergency
Sprinkle HP & SP -> Even more awesome with Pass
And also Magic Shield + Lethargy -> much lesser dmg received (though a non-support wiz could have it too)

New shield seems so very lackluster.

CON 65
Magical Defense 675
Final block rate 2
block 67
- Final block rate + 2%

Vs Emengard

CON 67
AoE Defense Ratio 5
Physical Defense 22
Magic Defense 440
Movement Speed 1
Block Rate 7
- Final Block Rate +7%

Seems like a slightly better Emengard without mspeed or Defense ratio, not much.

this reincarnate “revive” is ridiculously unplayable, it’s not reliable at all.

but yeah, i agree it is a good build, just don’t know what is better then runecaster for the 3rd rank, since magic parties are not a thing right now.

Then you are jumping 3 seconds late. It’s actually that simple–you need to be in the air when the animation of an attack ends, not starting your jump when the animation ends.

It’s actually one of the hardest things to teach people, because it’s a little different than what you expect for timing. But once you get it down for one thing (let’s say Velco’s Destroy Magic Circle) you will very easily be able to equate the timing to any other boss once you know what its animation looks like. The only outlier here is Ignas’ oneshot, because it’s 2 attacks masked as one.

You can dodge every single autoattack from Velco, for example, but even though it’s 3 swings, dodging it requires 2 jumps–but again, it’s about the damage point and where it lands during the frames of the animation.

It’s very hit or miss, I agree. I’d rather also see some consistency in other kinds of defensive buffs like mackangdal–or just buffs for other normal (not overpowered) defensive buffs in general to make them a bit easier/less clunky to use, rather than just have a re-raise style crutch.

what? not realiable? what the f?
even on PvP scenarios its one of the most useful chrono spells in the game combined with backmash, not to mention that if you backmash + reincarnate you basically get a full life ress.
also take note that on this raid, with enough experience, you can easily predict the times to cast reincarnate, easier than ever before I would say.

Not reliable because it’s bugged. You die even with Reincarnate on to Ignas AoE HK.

Actually, does it only happen in Ignas?

Cause my guess would be that it doesn’t provide the same immunity revive does and it’s 2 separate Shadowgaler-esque rings that are just nearly impossible to see. Couple other skills operate like this and that might be why it seems unreliable.

its not bugged, its different from priest’s revive skill.

Priest’s revive skill brings you back to x% of hp with a short invulnerability timer when your hp drops below 1.

Chronomancer’s reincarnate skill restores you to full hp when your hp drops below 1.

Ignas’s wipe skill seems to be actually two hits or so, meaning that reincarnate doesnt help against the wipe skill, whereas revive works better due to invulnerability timer.

That being said, Chronomancer’s Reincarnate is still super useful and shouldnt be underestimated.

I think it’s an ok skill, way better then before but for PVE it’s pure shame, it’s better for PVP purposes, for me using a controller is unplayable to make it at the right time in the middle of a caos, the revive “shield buff” is way more easy to execute and control the time.
Despite this, nerfing priest to death looks so bad, nobody wants to heal even before the nerf lewl :tired: imc gonna kill the game again if no one can play the content

the luxuries of low ping

Most of the equipment from the new raid is pretty underwhelming.

It’s more of the same or very gimmicky, but not too useful.

Less about low ping and more about consistent ping. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, this. The stats on the new stuff are predominantly awful, gimmicky, and could use some serious work.

Yeah hopefully I can put masinios xbow ichor on new legend weapons. Does anyone know if this is possible? Still waiting for them to also announce changes on wugushi

You can’t
The new savinose legendary gear will use random stats same as primus.

er… the new legendary will still use ichor sistem. the starting random stats is just so that you will not get an empty item like velcoffer gear.

No, unfortunately you can’t use ichor, I asked experienced kTOS players.

So Ichors die with velco? O_O

No, there will be another legendary itens that will function with ichors as well. This one, its just a easy set to farm and use in some chars.

They said something about the new Unique Raid having a harder version of Legend Raid, right? Maybe the new Legend Ichor Equipment will come from there or maybe not.
I hope they put new legendary acessory sets instead of armor/weapons, I mean, I just finished my velcoffer (enhance, trans, ichor, enchant, awakening) I need some time to breath and the game needs more acessory variety.

The Ichors that we currently can use on Velcoffer Gear can be used on the newer legendary gear based on what IMC has stated and done thus far. The problem is then which raid do you do since most people don’t like doing old raids.

Also what happened to this feature.
