A support class that does nothing on its own? What, like Oracle? -v-

I’d just like to say that as long as any class in the game isn’t able to shred revelevant content bosses in 3 minutes and breaking any sort of difficulty of said content (freaking duoing/soloing Velcoffer) i’m good with it. Although i think it will take some time for IMC to understand this isn’t supposed to be a mobile game despite heading on the right direction.

–’, would be a great video, if he had left showing the damage of the assassin to me see the class DPS in boss

yes, for this pistol build, cause corsair buff pistol, my build in re:build is rogue>assassin>outlaw, dagger build, my curiosity was to see the damage of assassin skills with late game gear

linker is very good for killing mobs, but it is bad Vs boss, if he removes linker from the build his damage will greatly improve

ex: BM+corsair+enchanter or assassin

nice information, I did not know, I thought this skill removed magical defense

then it is indisputable that in a group it is better, since everyone will benefit from the -25% def, but as it is just him, I imagine that enchanter guarantees more damage throughout the fight than the -25% def

What’s the point of a dagger scout though (other than flavor). It play just like a swordie, doesn’t it?

wan anyone plz s up again how this ichor compensation work ?

do you know if the double weapon assault (corsair auto atk buff) works on double gun stance ? I know it works on the Nak Muay double atk stance, I do not know if it’s a bug, but it works… so maybe it worke on the BM double attack

dagger class is my favorite class in RPGs, thief, rogue, assassin, I do not like swordsman, I like dagger users, I like agile classes with themed as Assassin and Thief

being a class on the vibe “thief / assassin / rogue” is more important to me than the character’s strength, but that does not mean I do not want it to be strong

There is a reason why I put in “other than flavor” in there. Preference falls under that. For example, swordsmen have a block modifier just for being swordsmen (unless that went away in a patch I didn’t catch). What do you get for being a swordsman in the scout tree? The pistol side of scout has a very clear use/role/niche which is ranged AA/skill.

1 clear advantage I can see is the invisibility. IMHO that doesn’t matter much in PvE (I can already see the crying and the butthurt in PvP though). The other supposed advantage was supposed to be AA but no dagger scout relies on AA, it relies completely on skill cycling.

outlaw makes you a “tank” on the basis of dodges, now need videos to know if the DPS is good, I did not find until today videos of the DPS vs boss of the dagger scout

Well dagger based has the Pierce and slash modifiers that pistol doesn’t have, both dagger and pistol has their synergies between ranks.

As for the reason why take scout instead of swordsman is that scout now is the closest to an Dual Class in other rpgs: you can be both an dps and support or a evasion tank and support and have the plus of getting out of combat if things get hard.
(and yeah i am ignoring cleric’s bizarre adventure being everything xD)

DWA would be better if were an stance like nak muay’s or Bulletmarker’s .

yes, the only way to have a melee character based on auto atk is make the DWA an instance, and I pray every day for this happen

Tbh, I’m kind of lost right now, so what is the best armor type for mages now (sorc)? Can I still use heavy or should I look for robes? (dunno what to take from boxes)

You could even take leather if you want crit rate, since magic will be able to crit.

Take note what happened to double punch. It was turned into a stance but did nothing to actually make it useful in the cleric kit.

You are a more efficient boss tank if you can actually avoid the hits (generates more aggro and prevents gear dmg) but on anything with way more hitting you your eva gets shredded making you unable to generate aggro. It was a nice idea but counter intuitive as tanking multiple mobs basically cripples your method of tanking.

EDIT (forgot to add) weapon type only matter to AA builds, which a scout(dagger) is not. Skill overwrite weapon type.

As for support, everybody is basically support now.

So again we are left with invisibility.

Tried it sometimes on ktest and it does not work. I’ll try it again later so I can assure you it isn’t working right now. Changes happen!

Simple: take a look at all and every buff, and skill on scout and compare to swordsman, and you get your answer.

And if you’re worried on aggro, just put an Ferret Marauder card, you can also just attack the mobs/boss or just pick outlaw with that gigantic AOE aggro and the evasion buff that generates more aggro based on equipment.

if you use your own line of thought , cleric is no more than a swordsman that heals and use hammers.
The thing is: not everyone will be a support IF nobody picks a support class or use the supportive skills of its class with the intend to help others, there always be people that will simply go for the min/max and ignore the support aspect of the core idea.

he do not need tank multiple mobs, classes in the “assassin/thief/rogue” vibe are famous for being good vs single target, that is, boss fight, so I expect it to be a class with a skill rotation that has an insane DPS in boss, otherwise in my opinion it needs to buff, because this is the main characteristic of this type of class, very good vs single target(PvP, boss), very bad vs several targets
