There a quite a few more ā€œhiddenā€ interactions mentioned in the descriptions of the skills in the skill simulator that donā€™t make much sense with Google translate like the one from Cataphract, assassin and rodelero, so if anyone wants to have a go at itā€¦

Hereā€™s one more:

Snow rolling knocks enemies down after it has ended, if heavy gravity is placed under it.

Btw, am I reading this right, conviction reduces elemental resistance as usual, deals bonus dmg to stunned enemies and you deal a further 30% more dmg to enemies under the debuff, or is the 30% the additional dmg with elements?

Speculation: Rank ā€œ11ā€ will be a talent tree for your favorite class of the 3 you picked.

a lazy way to do it would be just extra levels for one of your chosen classes and maybe a few talents

I Feel like I can kill faster than that with my current kabba and it is Cleric 3 priest 3 oracle Kabba 3 :confused:

I understood it as +30% damage with the elements conviction uses. So only fire, ice, eletricity earth and poison elements, not including holy or dark.

Seems much more interesting than what it was before, -100 flat resistance, which ended up being quite pointless in endgame.

Iā€™m excited about trying PD + Pala, spread conviction with Pandemic, buff the damage for both Black Death and Incinerateā€¦ Also a bunch of useful support skills, new Restoration, Healing Factor, Stone Skin, Haste, Barrier, etcā€¦

Taking the info from simulator (but things can be wrong):
All skills at max lvl

  • Stabbing (Max lv 5): 114% x 15 hits, 15 sec cd. Damage increases by up to 100% with number of hits (as it is now), but no longer has +10 hits attribute or +evasion attribute.

  • Pierce (Max lv 15): 259% per hit, 1 hit in small, 2 in medium, 3 in large. 5 overheats, 30 sec cd. Deals +1 extra hit if wearing Dragoon Helmet. Lost attribute for extra hits in shock, lost attribute for more hits on boss and also attribute for causing bleed.

  • Finestra (Max lv 10): +30% Crit chance, -20% evasion, lasts 60 seconds, 50 sec cd. No longer has the splash attribute but gets an attribute to improve crit chance further.

  • Synchro Thrust (Max lv 15): 280% factor, increasing damage on counters (+100%?). 3 overheats, 15 sec cd. No longer has pierce -> strike exchange attribute.

  • Throw Spear (max lv 15): 269% x 3 hits, applies shock for 5 seconds. No overheat, 10 sec cd. No longer has bind attribute.

  • Spear Lunge (Max lv 10): 297% factor, ignores 50% of enemy defense. 6 sec debuff that improves pierce damage (unsure if it remains +50%), 5 overheat, 20 sec cd.

  • Sharp Spear (Max lv 15): +20% critical damage self buff, lasts 300 secs, 60 sec cd. Has attribute to further improve crit damage.

  • Hoplite: No longer has C3 attribute to deal +20% dmg on medium-size enemies.

  • Long Stride deleted.

Umbo Blow has a mechanic like that, once you block an enemy it will receive a Staggering debuff for a short duration and the skill will deal more damage so that may be the case.

Hmmā€¦ I donā€™t think thatā€™s the case. Synchro Thrustā€™s mechanic is slightly different, it applies extra dmg to the skill if you hit the monster while itā€™s in the middle of an attack animation. It also says ā€œCounter!ā€ on top of your character and the damage is doubled (+100% damage, as it is currently). Unlike Umbo Blow, the mob does not have to hit you beforehand.

Iā€™m not sure if the damage improvement remains the same (+100%), but considering the skillā€™s relatively weak skill factor, I believe it does.

What do you mean, how they stack? One applies to crit chance and the other to crit damage.

I mean if that 30% crit is a % of what I have or a flat/final % like rogueā€™s sneak hit is. If the later would be PERFECT!!

Oh, I donā€™t think itā€™s a flat addition of +30% to crit chance, that would be too powerful, seeing the absolute maximum critical chance for swordmen is 50% now.

Probably just +30% critical chance in your critical chance status in character window, but I could be wrong.

Maybe taoist is the electromancer. :stuck_out_tongue:

@mrshadowccg yes, finestra increases crit rate on F1 stat. Sharp spear increases crit damage. An example of a true crit chance % increase is matadorā€™s Ole buff (increases crit rate and, additionally, increases crit chance% vs taunted mobs). Matador reaches crit chance % cap quite easily vs taunted mobs.
