I didnt make myself clear, sorry, that was my mistake.
being one shot is a problem for everyone… maybe we all should invest in CON with the few points we gonna have to allocate, stack HP in hats (we can get over 6K hp that way), yeti cards, shields… idk. we can make it work. Cleric is not the squishiest class in the game so let’s se how that plays
SP worries me too. They are making base SP increase with level and reducing the sp cost of skills. I hope IMC does all the math right so we won’t have a problem because sp cost of skills also increases with level.
It’s much more of a problem for Sadhu, who has to stand motionless and lose all of their gear stats whenever they use OOB. It’s not the same as nobody being able to stack CON. Everyone else can use CON on gear whenever they want to be a bit more tanky. But Sadhu takes dramatically more damage when OOB and part of the class’s strategy is to find ways to protect itself to avoid that damage.
It just doesn’t seem like we have strong tools to do that anymore though. It will be OK in regular grinding when there aren’t too many mobs from all sides, but it will be very risky in CMs to try and use OOB.
AS for the SP thing, I am seeing a lot of videos of people with newer builds doing CMs, and they all seem to run out of SP very fast, especially archers and certain wizards. I imagine they will eventually give everyone a bit more SP regen or lower skill costs because I don’t think players will put up with this for too long.
I see. But it is also hard to get 1HKOed in CM so restoration and Chortasmata should work well in this situation
I really hope they hit the balance right, because things are looking pretty ugly balance-wise.
e.g.: Dragoon Helmet doubles the damage of Dragoon Skills, 100% uptime, master level: 1. Acrobatic Mount increases the damage of riding-only skills by 30% while increasing their SP consumption by 25%, 30s/60s uptime (50%), requires 5 levels to master. Clear and abysmal disadvantage here.
Monk speaks for it self.
Magic Shield and Onmyoji’s shield makes wizards invincible, no counter for that besides the gud’ol “hit harder”.
Assassins have 3 strong attributes for more than half of their skills, while some classes barely have 5 in total.
magic shield in 2019 LUL
Having done cm with a wiz that spams magic shield sez multi hit skills are a hard counter to it. Also, 20% reduction hardly makes them invincible.
Magic shield is such a pathetic ability really. Gone in 10 hits, only reducing 20% per hit, and chews up your SP. It’s mild damage mitigation at best. Onmyo shield might be good still, but remember that Onmyo can no longer stack SPR and will run out of SP very quickly.
That said…I just had an idea for Onmyo + Alchemist sustain option.
Not really, the best buff R7F has in Re:Build … is there is not much buff/nerf to it. It still buffs 5 targets max. Unlike some druid’s seedbomb which got a massive nerf stick.
Here’s the full build run.
Can’t really play much these days due to work. Have to wait till weekend then can stream more. Will take the chance to collect more weapons so can try out other classes. XD
I don’t know about that. Have you ever seen an under-equipped character trying to do CMs only to absolutely explode the second they enter CM stage 5? It’ll be like that, except the risk is there every time the Sadhu goes OOB.
Also, what about raids and world bosses?
@Nekorin oh ok. So that damage just comes from your really powerful testing weapon then, and not because the skill itself is any stronger. Yeah offensive kabbalist is in a bad spot. I still cannot understand why the nerf to Notarikon. Of all the things…why?
At least Gevura and Inquisitor smash is still a nasty combo. Inquisitor/Kabbalist may still not be a terrible combo
I would like to watch some videos of Featherfoot and Shadowmancer… Their skills are mostly single target or with a low AoE and have a high SP cost. Now that Linker is gone from wizard tree, playing with those classes will be very annoying and time-consuming for PvE purposes. I believe they will become more focused on boss killing, considering the characteristics of their skills (low AoE and high skill factor).Their builds probably will have to pick 2 classes with higher AoE damage or include Bokor to enhance their dark property attack. Still, I hope that IMC increases their AoE…
Automated translation looks like that it increases the damage dealt on that enemy when R7 hits and you are under Omikuji’s effect
I will call @greyhiem again on this cause he knows how much we love him <3
I’d love to understand that…
As far as Google translator goes, it seems to be a new debuff.
“Deathfire Debright”…
No idea what it is. @Nekorin, could you print the debuff description too? I think it will help.
when re:build came out, someone said that R7 was going to apply Death Sentence. But now that Omikuji is there in the description, might not be that. It would be a two-classes requirement, for a third class to apply the effect. Sounds weird and too specific.
My guess is that this is only the name of the debuff itself.
It is really hard to do CM solo, I almost could not do it…
They really must nerf all the enemies by half the damage so the game can be difficult but at least possible to play.
That only happen because Dievdirbys is too strong, even in party it is almost impossible…
Good. Challenge Mode seems to be a party content anyways.
Maybe this will make room for tankers to shine. They need this…
Yeah I think the difficulty so far looks really promising. Here’s hoping they won’t cave in and nerf it back down to easy mode again too soon. I’m really looking forward to this.
Its not 10 hits anymore, but if multiple enemy attack, like in CM, your SP will be gone very fast.
I’m not using it in reBuild CM now.
Oh yikes, so it’s like a weaker version of Onmyoji’s shield then. That’s pretty scary for wizards who are already Sp-hungry.
Actually it reminds me of that magic coat skill from RO.
Thanks.
Omikuji + revenged sevenfold = when revenged sevenfold is activated, the affected enemies get the Omikuji debuff #4, which decreases critical resistance by 50%. Duration 10s.
