KToS General Thread v4.0

Hard to say. Ice Pike’s aoe is pretty huge for what it is already (ever since the mage rework)

anyone knows the effects of the new cards?

Yea, it looks terrible… cooldown is also terrible

At least with pots my dream build from when I started ToS (alch/sorc) will have much more sense (from what I saw pots will also heal summons). Need to farm mats for homu and buy Rangovas Necklace for the new update… :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW: I know that we will be able take out atr points 100 silver per point, I just wondering if we also get them out for free with initial char reset?
[edit] just realized that they posted a lot of translated info, hopefully I will get my answer there. :stuck_out_tongue:
[edit2] And to answer my own question, yes we will get one time free extraction.

I’m hoping that there are some items in the game that may cause a bigger/stronger explosion but given the way IMC tends to handle alchemist, they probably left it this way as ‘good enough.’

Does the duplicate attribute work on Summons again? Could this be the reason they changed the necro minions? Because Google translate says for the attribute that it duplicates summons and the picture is an Owl (obviously an installation) but I am curious what it does. Does anybody know?

  • Skill [Micro Dimension] Duplicate some of the allied units in the attacked area and the summons of the alliance within the attacked area. * Replicated targets are not replicated again. * SP consumes 30% more characters.

Sidenote:
Now that everything is expensive SP wise the attributes that change a skill could have actual weight if they increase the cost by a lot and give a good effect but make it more difficult to pull of despite the big reward, etc. . Could be interesting how this gets handled. Normally you just activate everything as you are pure stat anyway, but now you are craving SP again and have to manage it.

How to DPS as a kabbalist.

did Revenge Sevenfold get buffs or something? Come to think of it, I don’t think Kabba has many excuses not to put more points into it now that Double Chance is gone, huh?

Any videos of Cryo-Ele-Tao? It has a huge combo potential with Elemental Essence + Freeze + Storm Calling. This could be the new Elememe :snowflake::zap:

you still have other 2 classes to pick. Figure it out.

That’s not the point. Picking another two classes doesn’t change the fact that the move is poorly designed.

It was poorly designed before. Nothing changed, people were using it before and will use it after the patch. Just find a way.

on a more constructive note: im paring it with druid and oracle to stack evasion. I’m sure there is plenty of other methods to keep yourself safe like pala’s restoration and exo knockback/knockdown immunity…

I misunderstood your post, I thought you were talking about Alchemist’s combustion, but you’re talking about OOB.

People didn’t really use OOB prior to this patch for auto attacking at all though, especially not without safety zone. They pretty much only used it to quickly throw out Astral Body Explosion and then return to body. Now that we actually have an incentive to stay in OOB form, it will be necessary to find a new combo. Somehow I don’t feel like evasion is going to help very much, especially since clerics aren’t going to get a lot of innate dex.

Restoration or Healing Factor are options, but those are regens. They aren’t going to prevent you from being one-shot by a strong attack. Paladin’s stone skin could be an option combined with restoration I suppose.

@Nekorin Maybe you know.

It seems Revenge Sevenfold has an extra effect while under the effect of the random buff from Miko. Would you know what it is?

Thanks in Advance

:haha:

Thinking about it, the limited SP make it interesting in what you combine, how much you want to pot, etc. . Currently you can just go full SPR and rarely worry about SP or any attributes.
For example it distances “Blind Faith” from the Zealot from builds that use a lot of SP and you might pick the knockdown/knockback immunity instead as you are Melee anyway.
Of course Alchemist, your own potions and Dievkirbys reduce the SP strain a bit but having to manage could be interesting. But they aren’t always available. =)

Me too want to know what it is… it’s a debuff that is applied to the monster that gets r7f’ed. I got it to apply but I don’t know what it does. Don’t know any korean T_T

One thing is for sure. It will be a decent time to be an Alchemist. Not only will people appreciate having you in parties, but SP potion demand is going to skyrocket.

I don’t actually like more sp reliance over the whole game, because having to manage SP and carry around SP pots just isn’t a particularly fun type of resource management imo. But for sure I am going to be farming that uosys and brewing potions a lot more often on my Alch.

NOW IF ONLY IMC WOULD ALLOW US TO PLANT UOSIS AND RAUNDONELIS IN THE GUILD HALL.
