How to heal next patch get a lot of spirit and be paladin. Restoration went from trash tear to best skill in a patch. But then aukuras went from OP heal to trash tier :sob:

Elementalist Changes
-Prominence removed. Prominence is now a Pyromancer skill.
-Freezing Sphere removed. Rune of Ice in Runecaster is now extremely similar to the old Freezing Sphere.
-Electrocute cooldown reduced to 10 seconds. Overheat removed. If you use it within a Storm Calling, it hits twice as many targets.
-Hail cooldown increased (45 -> 50 seconds).
-Storm Dust cooldown reduced (35 -> 20 seconds).
-Meteor casting time reduced (3 -> 2 seconds). Overheat removed.

New skill, Fire Claw. Sends 8 fires outward from you. 20 second cooldown, no overheat.

They can hit the same enemy multiple times if they all connect. This makes it useful to ā€œshotgunā€ and use right on top of an enemy.

New skill, Elemental Essence.

Provides a buff that increases the damage bonus for hitting an enemyā€™s weakness with magic by 10% per skill level (max level 10, 100%). This lasts for 20 seconds and has a 20 second cooldown.

Iā€™ve only listed classes that ā€˜seem unchangedā€™ if they didnā€™t get a lot of obvious mechanical changes. things like skill factors being shifted around donā€™t really count, as is the case for Zealot/Inquisitor and some of the wizards. Less obvious changes will be added as they are discovered.

Itā€™s more helpful if you tell me what changed instead of ā€˜not reallyā€™ which doesnā€™t tell me much.

You havenā€™t heard sacrament and enchant fire wont give extra lines of dmg anymore if you have last rites and Aspergillum. But there is still hope for chaplain auto attack builds.

Aukuras isnā€™t going to be used as a heal anymore so no need to compare it to a heal. Goddess of fire attribute Aukuras was still very fun and a decent dps boost for rapidly hitting classes.

Most classes have some skills or attributes removed. I didnt try all yet but there are 2 skillsims/DBs

Its hard to show sarcasm on internet. But what i was trying to say is krivis is a dead class now for healing and paladin went to top tier for healers because of how restoration works on ktest.

The people that knew how to heal with aukuras used a small trick where they would cast aukuras with goddess of fire attribute on and then turn the attribute off so aukuras could have a lower cooldown while having full duration and healing for a huge amount every second.

I know i did this and it made velcoffer runs supper safe.

Monk Changes
-Double Punch is now a stance, lasts permanently and can be toggled on and off. It makes your auto attack change into double punch and you can just hold down the button to spam double punch, attack speed raises with skill level.
-Palm Strike cooldown increased (15 -> 20 seconds). Ignores a % of enemy defense instead of the previous effect. Now has 4 overheats.
-God Finger Flick now has 4 overheats.
-One Inch Punch now has 4 overheats.
-Iron Skin reworked. Now a 5 minute buff that reduces physical damage you take (0.5% per skill level).
-Hand Knife changed to 1 skill point maximum, zero cooldown. Can only be used right after using Palm Strike, so you can Palm Strike -> Hand Knife -> Palm Strike -> Hand Knife, etc.
-Golden Bell Shield reworked. Immediately resets the cooldown of Monk skills and increases Monk skill damage by 10% per skill level for 10 seconds. 1 minute cooldown.
-Energy Blast cooldown reduced (45 -> 20 seconds). Now deals twice as many hits on enemies affected by Divine Stigma from a Krivis.

Shadow Thorn overheats have not been changed.

Shadow Conjuration, however, had its overheat removed. The cooldown was reduced to compensate (20 -> 15 seconds).

ā€˜seems unchangedā€™ just means exactly that. It seems to be unchanged. The keyword being ā€˜seemsā€™. Until I know exactly what changed, they donā€™t seem to have changed much.

I could change it all to ā€˜to be discoveredā€™ but that assumes there are changes. Iā€™ll try to do that on the next pass. Got to add Archer in there and stuff.

Is a targeted skill now. Only has Enhance Attribute, the other 2 are gone.

or remove the line. or replace it with ā€œ???ā€. (Almost) nothing is ā€œunchangedā€ and that sounds misleading.

Warlock Changes
-Drain has been removed.
-Invocation spirits capped to 5 on the field at once. Buff duration locked to 40 seconds, spirit duration locked to 10 seconds. Deliver and duration attributes removed.
-Dark Theurgeā€™s fear damage bonus no longer requires an attribute.
-Ghastly Trail now caps at level 15.
-Pole of Agony now caps at level 10. Duration and maintain attributes removed, duration attribute is now in the ability by default.
-Mastema cooldown increased (37 -> 40 seconds). Phantom Pain attributeā€™s stat reduction has been removed.

@crevox Can you tell us anything about sorc devils skillsets? e.g. do you know if any of them got big changes or if more than just marnox got elemental assignment on their skills? thank you :slight_smile:

As far as I can tell, all Sorcerer demons had their SFRs reduced just like players (to about 30-40% of their original value). The cooldowns were not adjusted and elements were not adjusted.

There is one new demon card with the update, Ignas, which is the boss of the new unique raid. He is a legendary card. His effect when equipped gives you a 5% chance per star when you critically strike to enter stealth for 6 seconds, if I am translating it correctly.
