KToS General Thread v4.0

Think Sr limacon is bugged as I can deal 60k damage using a 32 atk pistol. My tests with SR stopped there.
Therefore SRs are lazy shooters
I like speed!

you can use https://tos.guru/ktest/database/classes
to check for the new skill factors and skills for each class under ktest

an example is the Outlaw class here
or another one is the Assasin class here

you can view the skill factors from the box on the right of each skill like so:

(this example shows the new elementalist spell: Fire Claw)

rjg will be working on the skill simulator tommorow and hopefully it will be active soon

Fair enough, when Nekorin tested it, the effect seemed to be different. That was my mistake, but double punch aside, most of my points still stand though. If your class is built for auto attacks, you compliment it with other classes that also can enhance the core playstyle of your class.

for the record, I’ve been playing Chap since closed beta. My first character was a Chap Plague doctor. So trying to claim seniority isn’t going to do you much good here.

clamping those botters right in the nuts it seems
too bad regular players also have to eat the turd sandwich they are serving us.

Wow this is a really good site. Time to digest the info.

Works with Bunshin.

Why did you censored the fist on the right…

Oh! that blue mess is the skill effect… that’s suppose to be normal… mmm ok

So depending on how good new Capella is, would chap exo be a good combo?

Looks fine to me. I’m sure it’ll be better when you see it in motion.

Hope it has more spark than glow

I tested Hexen Dropper and it no longer works with Bunshin. Bunshin also doesn’t work with any Assassin skills.

It likely only works on Shinobi skills now.

okay…thats sad, rip synergies…

does shinobi bushin copy all combat skills in scout tree?

Another un-fun change. Cmon imc, what are you doing…

On that note, I’ve updated the thread I made on reddit with more information just for fun. Probably pointless since we’re about to get a blog post anyway, but if anyone can help me with Swordsman changes, that’d be great. I know very little about the swordsman class. Wizard changes could use some help too.

THAT IMAGE IS FOR FUN AND JABS, IT DOESN’T REPRESENTS MY THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS…

not all of them at least :expressionless:

sage can use cossbow ? Wow

shield defense is not increased by 25% but, depending on rarity, by up to 252%+

I’d have to recheck for the values.

Also, wasn’t the Test notes mentioning legendary weapon attack increase of +89%?

CON increases defence, not damage.

no no am the extra character…

the small spec of wiz, you can see my head above skill bar

Runecaster Changes
-Overheats removed from Rune of Justice, Rune of Destruction. Cooldown unchanged.
-MDEF reduction on Rune of Destruction now scales with skill level and is not an attribute, 5% per skill level.
-Rune of Protection now natively provides protection from casting interruption and reduces damage taken while casting spells (1% per skill level). It has an enhance attribute to increase the damage reduction by up to 1.6x, and an attribute that requires level 350+ and provides knockdown immunity.
-Rune of Ice completely changed and now is an attack that is very similar to Freezing Sphere. It can cause enemies to freeze for 3 seconds.
-Rune of Giants lasts for 30 seconds per skill level. Can be used on a Shoggoth from Necromancer.

New Runecaster skill, Mannaz.

Drops down 5 giant stones from the sky, one after another in a large AoE. 40 second cooldown, no overheat.

Here is a video from Bong of using Giants on a Shoggoth.

-Elementalist–

  • Elemental Essence - new skill that buffs the caster and makes enemies take more damage from elemental weaknesses.

example:
at Lv10, Earth monster take +100% Dmg from Fire Skills instead of +50% Dmg
does nothing if no weakness or when enemy has elemental advantage (-25% like now)

Almost all classes

  • Seems unchanged - not really
