scout is a mess hahahaha crazy af!!!
Thereās a chance those two new classes in scout tree could go well with thaum and linker so thereās that to look forward to I guess? But yeah it seems like thaum linker can only pick enchanter as far as support-ish options go
EDIT: corsair jolly roger might turn out to be decent projectile support too on a side note, along with the available missile classes in the same tree.
Canāt agree more on that, thereās a few number of classes that could be moved from the magical sphere to the physical one (Paladin and Alchemist) but no, they did the weirdest route ever and made a mess into Scout. For a game that plays that much on build fantasy and diversity that is a huge flop.
Archer wonāt get that much of the short stick cause they took only the off hand classes, at least is still have a glimpse of hope that theyāll fix Musketeer and Cannon synergy a little (but i wonāt be that optimistic with this new Scout tree).
So far i like the changesā¦ i would like to at least have the name of the skills for each class, but tis just timeā¦
Also, for the skills removal right now the only confirmed one is running shot in Qsā¦ the rest we dont knowā¦ the reddit post is just datamined skills, not all the skills for each classā¦
Alsoā¦ is there any1 interested for class lvl 45 stats??? kinda did the chartā¦
small edit to change the name of the google docā¦ was using it for predictions :V
edit2: holy fudgeā¦ a bunch of ppl accessed the docā¦ ā¦ small notesā¦ left part is the stats per lvl, right part is stats * 45 (for each class level)ā¦ its kinda simple but usefulā¦ finally, all stats sum 90, meaning they balanced each stat to sum 90 for each classā¦
Speak for yourself. So far this update looks fantastic and is exactly what I was hoping for. Something to breath some fresh and new perspective into the gameās system and allow for more freedom and class identity.
Iāve been pulling my hair out for some way to play plague doctor and exorcist together in the same build at maximum power, and this is an answer to my prayers.
Yeah you dont realize, for you its good but for some people it ā ā ā ā ā ā them over
Like in your example its like IMC took plague doctor and put it into scout and left exorcist where it was and now your favorite build is ā ā ā ā ā ā in the ass
i was thinking these stats differentlyā¦ like, the class determine your growth per lvl until lvl 390+. not like that they would give stats until you reach lvl 45.
so beside the skill factor you would āhaveā to plan your class acordingly to the growth. else you would gimp your build really hard.
if it works the way you intended than the growth is not that meaningfull, as +40 stats are not that hard to come by with equips
Not really, because then Iād be able to play Plague Doctor + Bullet Marker or Plague Doctor + Enchanter and Iād probably be even happier. Also, itād remove PD and Exorcist from the same tree so they wonāt have to compete with each other, which was my big issue in the first place.
Itās all a matter of perspective, you can find something good about the changes if you have an open mind.
for what i could understood of all de infoā¦ you get stats by class lvl, not by char lvlā¦ so it means you get ā2ā stats per class lvl where this is kinda said in the korean partā¦ i could be wrong, but i dont think am wrong with thisā¦
and yes, the green stats from equips are going to be extremely important nowā¦
not saying that you are wrong haha, i have 0 clue of how this would work, as of this point is all speculation right now.
my toughts were like this:
you have x base growth on str per lvl. when you go lancer, your growth turn into x+1, your past stats would ajust acrdingly, and will growth x+1 until 390. if your second class is nak, your growth is now X+1.6 ā¦ and hence forth.
at least this was my first guess
tough now that i think about it, this would cause a total of way more points than we have right nowā¦ but with the values diferentā¦
As much as I love Hauberkās story arc, I agree with you about the story being the cliched plot. Demons bad, goddess/humans good is explains much of it already.
Speaking in general, it will seem wierd seeing a mounted SR linking mobs but I see this class tree as being very unique as far as the possible combinations.
So right thing to do is to create 2 new classes
1 thief shinobis sr. And corsair. Matador
2 magical support -linker thauma enchanter other buffers
They will need to create some new classes too, to fullfil the empty space and variety of the new branchs
I love Hauberk as much as the rest of us, but his situation is one gem in a lot of rough, and could have been so much more satisfying/interesting.
If you read some of the enemy journal entries in the Adventure Journal, they hint at so much intrigue surrounding the demons and beasts within the world and setting, yet we only ever get to view the story through the humanās eyes and never get to make any interesting decisions on our own, because the game just isnāt designed to really allow much focus to be placed on the world as a player.
Itās a big waste of some great ideas, honestly. But it just wasnāt meant to be it seems.
Likeā¦Iāve played through the storyline on about 12 characters and I still donāt know wtf Beholder does because I just. donāt. care. The only storyline that made me sit up and listen out of genuine curiosity were the ones involving Hauberk.
It is weird to see some assault / stealthy classes alongside low pace/buffers that has a magical background in their names, skills and overall design.
This is the only thing that intrigues me about this update so far.
I am very curious to see what kind of skills the new base Scout class will have, and how itāll affect those magical classes that were shifted over.
Iām going to assume stealth. I can see Linker/Thauma making pretty good use of Stealth, but Enchanter not really.
Thatās for all stats btwā¦

- +2 physical attack per point.

from http://tos.nexon.com/lab/dev/view.aspx?n4ArticleSN=88 ofc.
The base class multiplier is tied to the class multiplier table, it is not the class factor those are for stat points only.
Ow and keep the stat multipliers from base class into account as well, see Kikhsekiās post below.
Iād assume the hp/sp resilience are just regen, but Iām not entirely sure.
At least we got the dex and minion scaling formulas out of this for once.
Ow and con scaling + attack speed got nerfed pretty badly ofc.
You donāt, they literally listed the formula for hp/sp growth this time. See slightly above this quote in this post.
Seems like none of these stats give accuracy. Iām not liking this.
No more block rate from con
They are probably trying to go for a Swordsman>Archer>Scout>Wizard>Swordsman kind of heirarchy as far as these evade and block multipliers go
Im looking st the stat distribution and Iām not feeling it.
Spears get the biggest dps buffā¦ Only Pelt gets the big con buff, should totally fix the distributionā¦
