Only problem possession had, for me, was low damage considering that it is a channeling skill, so you are committed to it and can’t do nothing during the skill execution. It could use a better tick rate, or multiplier, but oh well, rework shenanigans.

At least, even with low damage, possession was even capable of stop the action of minor bosses (mainly CM and dungeon ones). With the new mechanic, it is just plain trash. Don’t even think it is a 1 point wonder.

IMC: Makes Zealot, a class whose sole purpose, really, is to specialize in damage boosts, critical hits and critical damage

Also IMC: Makes an attribute for all base Wizards for literal critical chance cap 50% amount of minimum critical chance that applies after normal critical chance

New and Returning Player Benefits

A new buff has been added for new and returning players that will always be active.
-The following buffs apply to both new and returning players.

New / Returning Player Support
HP + 5000, SP + 2000, Movement Speed + 3
Physical / Magic Attack + 5000
Physical / Magic Defense + 5000

-The following buff also applies to all members of the party of a new / returning player, including the player.

Playing with a New / Returning Player
[New/Returning Player] Looting Chance + 2000
[Players in the Party] Looting Chance + 1000
[Both] EXP Gain + 50%

※ The personal buff is only available for new and returning players.
※ The personal buff only functions in the field and in Challenge Mode.
※ The party buff will apply to both the new / returning players and their party.
※ The party buff is applied in all areas. However, you must be in the same map as the new / returning player. Even if you are in a party together, the buff will not apply if they are in a different area.

Entering Content

If the party leader has not yet entered an instanced content, other party members will not be able to enter.
※ Applies to: Leveling Dungeons, Guild Quests, Uphill Defense, Earth Tower, Unique Raids, Legend Raids
※ In the case of Leveling Dungeons, the entry restriction only applies if you are entering immediately and not using auto matching.
※ There is no restriction on entering Challenge Mode. Party members may enter first.

Leveling Dungeons

The difficulty of the Siauliai Mission has been changed.
-The HP of the torch has been changed.

Current HP: 70
After Change: 150

-The number of monsters that attack the torch will be changed.

Currently: Number of monsters scales with the number of players.
After Change: 12 monsters will spawn every 6 seconds, and 9 monsters will spawn every 15 seconds (no longer scales).

Gemstone Feud

You can no longer re-enter Gemstone Feud more than 3 times.

Attack Conversion from Subweapons

The new Dagger Mastery additions that were done and the changes that were done to Arbalester’s Destruction attribute at that time will be removed.
We have chosen not to keep these changes, as we believe they need more review before implementation. However, the comparison of DPS between weapon types is always being monitored, and instead we are considering adding more specialized and detailed effects for each class.

Liberate: Awaken
-The duration has been changed.
Current: 6 seconds
After: 12 seconds

Magic Shield: Arcane Explosion
A new attribute has been added for Magic Shield.
-While active, the normal effects for Magic Shield will be removed, and it will instead rapidly drain your SP for the duration of the buff.
-All magic skills will consume 50% more SP for the duration, and your SP cannot be restored.
-Increases your Minimum Critical Chance by 50% while the buff is active.
-When your SP reaches 0, the buff will be removed.
-Does not stack with [Magic Shield: Protect Party].

Sand Blast
Can now be used without fully charging the cast time.

Sand Blast: Explosion
The condition for the attribute to trigger has been changed.
Current: Applies on critical hit.
After: Applies when hitting an enemy with the [Sand Dust] debuff.

Implosion
A new effect has been added.
-Inflicts the [Sand Dust] debuff on up to 10 enemies nearby when used on an enemy.

Rolling Stone
The casting time has been decreased.
-5 seconds -> 3 seconds

Horned Golem
The area of effect and the range of the golem has been adjusted.
-Area of effect increased by 20%.
-Range increased by 10%.

Horned Golem: Circular Damage
The area of effect of the attack used by the golem has been increased.
-Area of effect increased by 50%.

Chant
A new passive effect has been added for the Goddess’ Protection buff from Chant.
-Nearby allies will be healed for a Healing Factor of 100% + 8% per skill level every 5 seconds. (Will not heal the caster.)

Barong
The cast animation length has been decreased from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
When you are within a range of 150 of an enemy, Barong will be summoned to your side to attack the enemy.

Penyerapan
The cooldown time has been decreased.
-30 seconds → 20 seconds

Penyerapan: Siphon Life Force
The increase in cooldown applied by the attribute has been changed.
-60 seconds → 30 seconds

Keletihan
The cast animation length has been decreased from 0.8 seconds to 0.35 seconds.

-Current: Damage * (100% + [Number of Targets] * 10%) / [Number of Targets])
-After: Damage * (100% + [Number of Targets] * 20%) / [Number of Targets])

Crevox Note: The effect of Joint Penalty was changed in the Episode 12 update from how our version functions.

Lifeline
The duration has been changed.
-Current: 5 + [Skill Level] seconds
-After: [Skill Level] * 11 seconds

The formula for the stat increase and the value of the stat increase has been changed.
-Current: Increases the stats of all targets effected by 50% of the caster’s stats.
-After: Increases all stats of the targets affected by [Sum of All Caster’s Stats] / 15. (Every stat will increase by the same fixed value.)

Obtained through the Vaivora shop. They come in three sets:

Dionys Emote Package: Wings of Vaivora Coin x40
Goddess Vakarine Emote Package: Wings of Vaivora Coin x60
Dionys + Vakarine Emote Package: Wings of Vaivora Coin x50

Note the third package is the emotes that have both of them together, not a combination of the previous two packages. All of the packages can only be team storaged (not tradeable or marketable).

Also added to the shop is a scroll that doubles the EXP rate of Pamoka Solution for 14 days. It costs 15 coins.

Joint Penalty
The hit limit has been changed.
Current: 3 hits
After: [Skill Level] hits

The transferred damage has been altered and is no longer “fixed” damage but is now transferred as “melee physical” damage. The damage calculation is as follows.

[Damage Dealt] + (1 + [Number of Targets] * 10%) / [Number of Targets]

※When hitting 10 targets, 200% total damage is dealt, splitting to 20% damage to each of the 10 targets.

Basically, they changed it so that if more targets are hit, you gain an increase to the total damage you deal and each target takes more than a simple division of the damage.

Damage per Target
2 targets = 60% damage each (120% total)
3 targets = 43% damage each (130% total)
4 targets = 35% damage each (140% total)
5 targets = 30% damage each (150% total)
6 targets = 26% damage each (160% total)
7 targets = 24% damage each (170% total)
8 targets = 22% damage each (180% total)
9 targets = 21% damage each (190% total)
10 targets = 20% damage each (200% total)

The new patch buffed this scaling to increase the total damage dealt by 20% per additional target instead of 10% per target.

New Damage per Target
2 targets = 70% damage each (140% total)
3 targets = 53% damage each (160% total)
4 targets = 45% damage each (180% total)
5 targets = 40% damage each (200% total)
6 targets = 36% damage each (220% total)
7 targets = 34% damage each (240% total)

9 targets = 31% damage each (280% total)
10 targets = 30% damage each (300% total)

This is a little hard to understand. Does this mean “every skill has, at least, 50% crit chance before crit rate/crit resistance” or “my crit chance is 50%”?

Minimum Critical Chance is a modifier that appears on a few different skills and items. A notable example is the legendary Demon Lord Marnox Card.

Minimum Critical Chance is a separate % chance to cause a critical hit. Whenever you attack a target, if you have a Minimum Critical Chance, the game checks to see if this succeeds. If it does, it ignores the entire critical hit formula (Critical Rate and Critical Resistance) and forces the attack to be a critical hit. If it does not succeed, then the game performs the normal formula to determine whether or not the hit is a critical.

Sources of Minimum Critical Chance are additive with each other and the presumed cap is 100%. For example, with a level 5 Demon Lord Marnox Card and this effect both active, you would have a 60% Minimum Critical Chance bonus. This benefit is entirely separate from your normal critical chance cap, so you can have a 60% Minimum Critical Chance and a 60% Critical Chance. If either of those two 60% rolls succeed, you get a critical hit.

You can calculate an effective “total chance” to critical based on these numbers using statistics. 60% and 60% would be a total 84% chance to critical.

Why not giving us the option through ARTS, if we want to use this or the old magic shield?

Same with all the other skills that completely changed lately.

It’s an attribute [Magic Shield: Arcane Explosion]. You can enable it or disable it at your leisure.

Geez, I wonder what are these PC specs to get this FPS and overall game performance.

About the CM istelf… It is cleary a top player guild. Their equipment is probably over the top and doesn’t represent most of the kTOS community. Or maybe something related to the recent additional damage changes? Or both? Who knows.

EDIT:

New Magic Shield attribute + Yogurt (food table) and Sorcerer’s Summon Servant = no downside of new attribute, only skill SP consume apparently.
