KToS General Thread v4.0

@crevox if thats true then rogue sneakhit will guarantee 100% crit from the back?

you are wrong

sneak hit lv 10
Critical Chance: +[50]%
Duration: [70] seconds

first, max sneak hit is +50%, not +100% like what you wrote.
second, lt add crit chance directly, (not crit rate like wastrel sword) your crit rate stat wont increase at all.
So if you already have 1600+ critrate (roughly 50-60% crit chance) againts legend skia, add +50% crit chance from sneak hit, et voila!

there are still 2 possibility outcome tho
60%+50% sneakhit=110%
or
60%+50%sneakhitx60=90%

well, only one way to find out is when the patch come and all your hit is yellow damage from the back

It add like min crit chance.

iirc crevox said sneak hit is different than legend marnox card, doesnt add min crit chance

Sneak Hit isn’t Minimum Critical Chance, it’s just a critical chance modifier. Most critical chance modifiers in this game work the same way, and Sneak Hit should be no exception. Similar to things like Leather Mastery, it increases your critical chance multiplicatively.

If your final critical chance is 50% based on the difference between your critical rate and the enemy’s critical resistance, then you would have a 75% chance to critically hit with Sneak Hit level 10 (+50% chance). This would stack additively with other modifiers like Leather Mastery (+20%) and it would become 85%.

It’s always possible Sneak Hit works differently, but then it would be an exception to all the rules in the game and its description would likely need to be changed. It did used to work in some of the ways described here (adding a flat % amount of chance to critically hit), but this was all changed with the Re:Build update.

Also give me the Blossom Blader master’s hairstyle please

So I assume the class masters from top to bottom are Rangda, Blossom Blader, Arbalest, Crusader and Terramancer?

Correct.

KLIVE Update 11/28/19

Quests

The prequest for Episode 12 has been added.
You can start the quest by speaking to Neringa in Orsha. The quest is recommended for level 420 and has a minimum level requirement of 390.
image
Neringa will not appear if your character level is below 390.
If you complete the prequest before December 19th on at least one character, you will receive [Event] Attribute Points 10,000 x3. Tree of Savior’s Episode 12 update is launching on December 19th.

UI

The method to check if you have finished Challenge Mode for the day has been changed.
Instead of showing up as a debuff, it will now show the number of entries in the Instance Dungeon Info Window (F10).
image
The reset timing and number of entries per character has not changed.

The number of entries and rewards received from defeating Hunting Grounds bosses has been added to the Instance Dungeon Info Window.

The Set Bonus for the Moringponia Isgarinti accessory set has been adjusted to be the same damage bonus as it was before the 11/21 update occurred.

image Sorcerer

Desmodus
-The summon damage increase from the [Blood Sucking] debuff has been changed. (The damage increase does not count toward the character’s damage bonus limit)

Normal Summons: [Skill Level] x 24% → [Skill Level] x 84%
Summoning Demon: [Skill Level] x 36% → [Skill Level] x 84%

-The debuff from Desmodus and Gather Corpse no longer stack with each other.
-The duration of the [Blood Sucking] debuff has been changed.

Duration: 10 seconds → 20 seconds

Desmodus: Wide Area
-The new attribute [Desmodus: Wide Area] has been added.

Approximately doubles the range of Desmodus while reducing the damage of the skill by 30%.

image Necromancer

Gather Corpse
-The summon damage increase from the [Necromancer Bane] debuff has been changed. (The damage increase does not count toward the character’s damage bonus limit)

Damage Bonus: [Skill Level] x 30% → [Skill Level] x 84%

-The debuff from Desmodus and Gather Corpse no longer stack with each other.
-The duration of the [Necromancer Bane] debuff has been changed.

Duration: 10 seconds → 20 seconds

Gather Corpse: Wide Area
-The new attribute [Gather Corpse: Wide Area] has been added.

Doubles the AoE Attack Ratio of Gather Corpse while reducing the damage of the skill by 30%.

The development team was unhappy with the usability of summon classes, so adjustments were made so that through proper play and control of the class, you could achieve higher DPS, but the result did not come out as intended. This patch is intended to improve usability so it is easier to achieve that control.

In addition, there was a strong requirement to choose both Sorcerer and Necromancer in the same build due to their debuffs stacking together. We’ve changed [Desmodus] and [Gather Corpse] so that either one can be used to take advantage of the damage bonus, while also making changes so they are more usable and so that it is easier to apply their debuffs to enemies.

There are two types of ingredients: feathers and wings. The first kind, the feather, can be exchanged to an NPC in sets of 3 for one random Gabija themed item. These feathers can be traded with other players and sold on the market, and they come with one of the new costume packages (you get 3 of them).

The second type of ingredient, the wing, lets you choose any item you want from the box and you obtain them from recycling items from the box. These wings cannot be traded or sold on the market. Here are the number of wings you get from recycling items and the amount required for items.

Wings Acquired from Recycling
Gabija Costume (Male/Female): 50 Wings
Gabija Hair Accessories (4 kinds): 5 Wings

Wing Costs to Make Items

So after this patch summons do 25% damage vs normal mobs and 0.25*840 = 210% damage vs mobs affected by a level 10 Blood Sucking debuff.

This encourages active play, I like that.

Finally something meaningful. (-- deleting sarcastic comment about recent costumes which seems to trigger system flag immediately --)

So after Pajauta’s prerequisite we get Neringa’s prerequisite with a slightly upgraded reward. Nice.

A new developer blog is up for episode 12 as well:

I love the design of the new maps / areas.

Also, max level increased to 450, Giltine raid and the last revelation.
