Ha… I got a Wiz/Thaum that I built for grins and giggles that will probably end up with that build unless Drain is awesome when fixed. lol

I do think… Wiz3/Link2/Thaum1/FF2 is actually a practical version of that build since Thaum2/3 are the weakest links. They could use a balance pass at some point.

That said… screw that all anyway cause bauble heads are worth it.

Thaum2 is usually for reverse, I do this the build is viable, from what we had seen so far, now JP + MM is very strong and having ff2 will add survivability to your build.

But if you gonna do the combo in the video, you’ll need to have a lot of potion/ a healer (maybe bondfire? potion can’t fully heal a full con build), cause that skill use 60%(? can’t remember) of your max hp, and I remember from a video the debuff on enemy that heal you back isn’t strong enough(not sure did they fix this)

Blood Sucking CD is similar to blood curse. So you can just tandem sucking. Not that you need it with Links and Magic Missiles for elite mobbing.

I believe another vid shows a FF leeching full life off a couple ticks of sucking on a linked mobs with a high Con build. … I’ll edit it in when I pull it up.

Mergen intro video, it’s lacking a lot of info but there is an interesting fact in there, arrow rain is consider as a ground type skill :confused: like meteor you can avoid by jumping.

There are still skill that he haven’t introduce yet, so it might not be that bad.

I wish dude! though at the end of the video Spread Shot and Partisian Shaft is not used by majority of Mergen because they said it is not good. I also have some dilemma regarding Spread shot as it is a skill where your “AA” somewhat spread but the problem is AA of a bow archer is not good and with 400k HP mobs, i doubt it is good. Well, we shall see first as this is only based on observation.

Most disappointing is that Arrow Rain. Ground Skill+ Random? It should at least damage all enemies inside with how low damage and long its cd is.

I see, I though they have attribute to boost bow attack, never know it’s effect is not good enough.

Yes, i thought so too. As it is stated in Archer Introduction, didn’t know that the bosst is in range. LOL!

The video didn’t show how much the range is boosted as well, but we still have more or less a month to gather info and see whether the class is good or not. So at least there is still hope.

how is dragoon c2 and lancer doing in PvP?

Murmillo can now use rapier and spear (rip swords) it seems, and got another attribute to increase that hoplite shield skill by 280%.
It’s probably the most interesting change of the patch since it open more builds option.

Summary of todays notes:

Fencer: it seems the Epee stance is getting a CD.
Murmillo: well be able to use skills with Rapiers and Spears. Theres also a new attribute to include Synchro Thrust among the skills affected by Cassis Crista (bonus increases the dmg to +280%) and reduced activation time for Headbutt, Evade Thrust and Scutum Hit.
Cannoneer: Cannon Barrage(?) is getting longer range, dmg bonus (+150%, I think) and more AoE (I think).
Rogue: Backstab can now be used whilst mounted.
Inquisitor: Malleus Maleficarium is being nerfed (dmg reduced by ±30%).
Taoist: reduced the amount of Talismans consumed to cast skills (mostly by 1).
Doppel: the new C3 attributes for Zornhau, Redel and Zucker wont add 10 seconds to its cooldowns anymore. SP costs were kept the same, though (SP+20).
Dragoon: that insane Serpentine C2 attribute that increases all physical dmg by 100% is getting its duration reduced from 10 seconds to 5 seconds.

EDIT: @azebu95 got the right thing about Cannoneer stuff:

  • Cannon Barrage got nerfed from 150% to 100%.
  • Bazooka has increased range, more AoE, and 5k flat damage bonus.
