New replacement for scout in the farming build?
Bodkin Point still a skill with 0 sec cooldown?
I just donāt understand why IMC make skill speed scaling with atack speed, but implements a 5 charges OH with 10s cd.
This mechanic of Certain Skills are affected by APSD is the real STR DEX dealbreaker.
Dex certainly gets a boost for the classes that have lots of these. Notice that some of the 0 CD skills still didnāt get APSD effect,like Spear Throw.
Example: Swordies that will probably be better with more Dex:
Swordsman,Highlander,Corsair,Fencer
Rodelero only has Shooting Star as affected so i wonāt count.
Barb and Doppel look each time more and more STR route with their physical attack buffs.
P.s: Skyliner shows the tag for attack speed affected [ ź³µź²©ģė] on the skill planner but thereās no mention on the patch notes?
if i can get my whole combo of 30% faster regardless of CD, i would do it idk about you, the world is more than 1 skill anyway.
8? Can you not count? They do 8+ (depending on hidden) new classes in a normal rank update, and these would be easier because they donāt have to come up with entire new concepts for skills since itās an extension of 2 existing classes.
It depends entirely on whether they want high rank to be incredibly more powerful than low rank or low ranks to only be useful when they have an absurd scaling ability or buff skills that work well in later ranks (QS3, Wiz3, etc.) or forced synergy between classes (Shinobi able to clone only specific skills, mass strike debuffs from Rodelero, Murmillo buffing shield damage abilities of low rank classes, etc.) This kills build diversity because it means that X class is only really useful in Y build.
If they shored up the ranks so that it was only 5 tiers instead of 10 the differences wouldnāt have to be so drastic. You also get a lot more diversity of builds because you can make more choices at one time.
I sincerely am still trying to understand what the heck they did with Sorcererā¦
I am a sorc3 on kTOS, and after this patch, my damage was gutted with Summoning; and even if you ride the Summon, it doesnāt even increase your damage (itās the same, sometimes it even seems smaller =P)
Granted, I donāt have a Templeshooter card there, and still using a Level 4 Necroventer, but my summon is hitting por ~2k against level 70 creatures, ~1k against level 260 (and I am level 290ā¦).
In comparison, Desmodus hits for 10k x2, and Summon Familiar (the new MVP) hits for 5k each bat, even after the nerfā¦
Ah, int still affects your summon damage btw, spirit the defense.
Iām genuinely starting to get worried now.
Why are they making the summon statistics so damn complicated and confusing anyways.

they are simplier than before, it used to be
(Summon base stats + int scaling) x cardlvlbonus riding bonus x riding enhance
now is 50% of your weapon mat, +% per lvl of your matk, + % per card lvl of your matk. basically just get MATK and go with it, you dont have to calculate weird stats or anything.
Yeah, but the problem is that this is a huge nerf hit on your damage; Right now the damage I have riding my pet and when he attacks alone is the same. Itās just not worth the time (but the Summoning skill isnāt stopping the SP regen anymore thoughā¦) and I had 20 levels on the Riding Attribute.
your investment on attributes is refunded anyway and you dont use riding for that, you use riding to ACTUALLY USE YOUR SUMMON SKILLS, wich by the way actually have skillfactor %
Problem is that the skills suck. They do have some useful ones, but they are clunky as hell, and they have medium cooldowns
While you use them, youāre forsaking all the rest of your skill kit.
The idea right now on live is a nice one: They donāt know what to do with sorcerer, so youāre a ātankā mage. Youāve sustained damage (kinda), and you can switch between using the pets skills and your skills, getting some extra damage while you ride and is on cooldowns.
For example, on live (I got a 326 Sorc3), my TS hits for ~8k each hit, if I ride, he hits for 12k each hit. Thatās nice, a good extra for not using my other skills. Using Windia Rod +4, which has less M.Atk than the kTOS test server Staff that I use.
Now, I got a level 290 Sorc3 on test server, and my pet hits for ~2k on level 70 creaturesā¦ My auto attack hits for 2k.
Mobs in pystis forest have 11k-12k hp nowā¦ not sure if intentional or mistake
Wait Iām genuinely confused with this. So where does the % mentioned in patch notes apply to? Is it supposed to be where you said int scaling?
Also how does SPR now affect summons? What is the role of it now?
At least when I tested before, Spirit still increases your Petās Defenseā¦ kinda?
summoning level?, card level? card level 10 gives 50% more damage factor,
live =/= ktest, on live you fight 300k hp monsters on fields, on ktest they have 50k~70k

This confuses me even more now, so is spirit being excused as the main contributing stat for summoners now?
maybe, bokor seems the only one that keep it but maybe is because spirit gave more problems than what it solvedā¦ its just the second week of changes anyway lol
