This update actually looks like it’s hitting a lot of nails on the head. Let’s just hope it delivers, and that it’s only the beginning. Even if it launches without a hitch IMC can’t rest on their laurels for a minute. The game has a lot of problems and this is just cleaning up some of the biggest ones.

They gave the example of Fireball having a skill factor of 230 and Agny giving 50% to 280%.
We don’t know what INT will give.
I assume the damage gain from level will be exactly what it currently is which is 1 physical and magical per level. I have a reason for this assumption but w/e.
So 1010 + 330 for 1340.
Solmiki leather top has 470 magical defense. If it follows the same trend as current than the bottom will also have 470 magical defense.
That’s 940 MD before considering bracelets and amulets.
damage = (% factor) x attack x log10 ((attack / defense + 1)^0.x + 1) + additional damage
Damage = 230 * 1340 * log(1340/940 +1)^0.x+1)
Range of x being 0.1 to 1
But there’s a lot of things we don’t know. (Monster defense, accessory values for players. Values for weapons other than Mace…)
Plus the Fireball thing was just an example.
I’m starting to think… that x relates to Skill Level but that’s a shot in the dark. If it does though there’d be a lot bigger damage difference between level 1 and level 15 fireball in more ways than one.
if it is a skill level then it will go to 1.5??? because some skills can be lvl 15… which i think does not fir this, but it is a good assumption i guess
Ex:
Area skills start at reducing multipliers 0.5 patk and go up with levels.
Skills supposed to hit stronger or with less targets/more restrictions start a higher multipliers 1.5 patk, etc…

For those who play ktos/ktest …and using win10, dont update your windows to creator update yet. Or else, your client wont start.

Only happen with ktos/ktest client …probably has something to do with the gameguard. iToS works fine
