class balance is seriously broken in this game

If it’s not broken it won’t be IMC.

If they manage to balance everything out properly i will be surprised.

Maybe when the game closes.

its pretty hard to balance classes this many, and class balance was always an issue with all MMOs and MOBAS, even league of legends and dota would always balance old champions. but not as fck up as what IMC has done with the classes here. LOL

Incoming pyro nerf because we do too much damage now. Maybe they’ll make all pyro spells able to be whiffed away by melee

The way to balance linker is by buffing the other classes. Especially in the R8 content with the incredibly tough enemies, an AOE buff could be great. A way that would solve other issues and be a good place to start would be with hitboxes. By increasing the hitboxes for ranged, melee, and magic it would not only solve the frustration of slow animations and missing attacks due to those animations, but by extension increase damage as the attacks are no longer missing. It would still require hard skill in the sense you have to aim and use them correctly in the right situations. The only real problem is they might have to be rebalanced for PVP, but it needs to be redone anyway.

by lancer? lol. well if they gonna nerf pyro. it will be better just re-balance agni or transcendence system.

first things to balance this game

1- linker
they nerfed linker when iTOS started (no 200% bullsht) but then they bring the mechanic back, even so, almost all games are balanced by making single target damage higher and aoe damage lower (but higher total if you consider it’s hitting more targets), linker not only just breaks everything but also multiply damage

2- quickcast. it’s simple, or you make wizard crit via int or spr and remove quickcast or nerf their values and force int scalling for skill usage to be able to do full potential damage. 2k mdef hp sponges is not how you balance magic atk x full con behemoth cleric/wizard

pyromancer always did damage, even higher dps than elememe on ideal setup, just not as practical of course since elememe is all about one skill press. agni was another mistake

I decided to look around for Attilla,a weapon that adds 2 levels to priest skills,and didn’t find much just a guy saying it exists via magnum ops(Which is quite weird and provided no info besides saying someone shouted it).

I would like to ask if there is any confirmation about the weapon in KToS.

Also,I know the info about the shout must be an addon used to link the weapon :stuck_out_tongue: but better ask to be sure,right?

ha yea, if only there was a class atm that emerged in r8 that lowered each monster’s aoe defense to 0, and also increased the hitboxes for ranged/melee/magic. One can dream.

I wasn’t even talking about another support class, I just mean in general. Although I really like the idea of having a class that increases hitbox size on top of an increased base. Maybe an Archer support class?

I believe scout’s perspective distortion does just that.

To be honest, we archers just need an actual legit hidden class. Forget pied piper and appraiser. Give us something unique like an engineer, or some type of martial art archer that does melee attacks based off kicking and mid range arrow attacks. Quick and decisive. I also hope with all these buffs they are doing they will revisit archer. Take twin shots cool down away and give faster charge for multi shot
