kTOS General Thread v2.0

I made a Bokor C3. Full SPR level 170.
Went to Springlight woods.

Zombies created from level 169-171 enemies.
Full SPR these zombies are hitting up to 1.5k NON-CRIT on that same map…
Had some crits over 2k as well…
As Full SPR…Damballa wasn’t really worth using. If you upgrade the weapon further, grab int, or enhance it, Damballa will get more impressive but if you go full SPR Bokor. Damballa is pretty whatever about 1.7k. Your zombies do enough damage at the level range I tested it at that 15 zombies > Damballa.

Now with Full INT however.

Damballa went to about 3.9k per zombie.
Where as with Ogougeve the zombies were about 600-800 damage.
Again you start upgrading that weapon and its going to get even more significant.

Ogougeve adds something like 200-300 damage to zombies (first tested at west woods on the level 4 watchamacallits) at full (173) Int. Now given how Defense has been operating I don’t know if it is contributing that much in higher level areas and I don’t feel like checking that right now. Dragon Ball Super time.

@yurichalps

The 0.x being around ~0.87 still seems fairly consistent within a specific context. (Higher attack then their def, higher level then them). I’m Still struggling to get that result on similar level/higher def enemies.

In response to Highlander, I think even after the changes the class will be worth it for a full 3 circles. As far as I know, Skull Swing still reduces DEF to 0 and the scaling on Skyliner is insane for being such a low level skill. If you account for the 2x hits, 3OH, the 2x damage on bleeding targets and 1.5*skill value of attributes it comes out to about 5,040% over those 6 hits, thats nothing to laugh at.

A little more utility would be appreciated, more specifically I would love if Wagon Wheel would get replaced with something else, as you said maybe a crit buff that makes the class have a little more functionality.
Though I think the reason Barb seems to have more utility is because Highlander offers so much up front damage they have to accentuate that barb has self buffs and HL doesn’t.

Dex affecting attack speed? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFXf4NFwIys

you forgot burrow for rogues, or are you ignoring this skill as IMC too XD?

yes, but less than other skills,i guess because animation reasons. i guess it would apply similar for stuff like fencer 0 CD skills.

so here is some pics on Full STR/DEX AA crit damage

Full dex will have double the crit attack as your physical attack from going Full Str, HOWEVER. Str physical attack is multiplied by 1.5 when you crit, in the end the difference between full STR and full DEX is only 33% in favor of dex, HOWEVER. if weapon attack is high enough the difference becomes NEGLIBLE. literally can have over 3k weapon attack on one handed weapons without much problem, wich will make the difference between 200-600 attack of full str vs full dex mean pretty much nothing. if you have 80%~100% crit rate then yes full dex, but anything lower than that would say that STR for more consistent non crits would be the best.

did you test other skill’s crit dmg for full dex and full str?

cuz backstab has a hidden factor that scale with crit att really well for some reason, remember that topic about gem update and backstab? 400 crit dmg turn in to like 30k dmg.

i already calculated both front backstab and backbackstab (50% bonus damage).
that ones is the easier to look at numbers but the same happened with the slash thingy from hacka whose name i keep forgetting and storm bolt.

if you give me a moment i can show non crit vs crit screenshots.

you can just test on archer skill has one shot and no CDs, which is much easier I guess.

skarphugging 10k to 30k.
heavy shot 2.9k~3k to 7.5k~8k
backstab 9k to 25k~26k(FRONTAL SO NO BONUS DAMAG EFROM THE BACK)
bounce shot 5k to 14k~15k
fulldraw 4k~ to 13~14k
barrage 1600 to 4500 average
storm bolt 15k~ to 45k

my attack 1095~1264
sub attack 1007~1090
crit attack 1336

edit: monsters used for test were kepas and leaf bugs.

Does Heavy Shot still have bonus against Plate Armor targets?

so I guess this is Full DEX.
if you have a stat potion you can try full str and see how they looks?

and you know what these number kinda looks the same as we have on itos right now…shouldn’t your heavy shot become something like 4-5K when you have 1095 patk?

mmm i think the reset already passed so i could get my daily reset if not wait for tomorrow, and heavy shot has 172% at lvl 1 lol

oh ok lol you have lvl 1 heavy shot

yeah if you can try it with full str would end everything

cross my finger to hope crit attack is in the % for skills XD

ohoh and also hows sneak hit doing, still get almost 100% crit from back? and hows your auccarcy? going full dex has problem with that?

uh, have only missed a little one 280+ monsters, maybe thanks to the bonus 50 accuaracy from using full leather, not much of an issue right now but cant really say how it would be on lower levels.

also nope will have to wait for tomorrow to get a stat reset potion :x

This table’s great, if you could add skill level to them (just to check skill factors) it’d be great for understanding crit formula.

By the way, monsters have 2 (kepa) and 3 (leaf bug) DEF. As low as you can get for testing I suppose. Good pick.

For Heavy Shot alone (since I knew skill level was 1), crit damage worked exactly as we’d expect - once 0.x was found to be around 0.57 - given the formula:

Crit Damage = (Skill Factor) (1,5*physical attack+crit attack)log(.)

(same thing with the previous backstab data)

EDIT: The “0.x” varifies a lot from skill to skill so we actually get the actual damage you see in game (guessing game much?). However, once you adjust it for the regular damage, the crit one follows consistently well according to the formula above.

EDIT 2: let’s list “0.x” just in case:

  • Heavy Shot lvl 1 (172%): 0.54< 0.x <0.57
  • Barrage lvl 15 (122%): 0.41< 0.x <0.44
  • Bounce lvl 5 +10% (468%): 0.33< 0.x <0.35
  • Back Stab lvl 5 (445%): 0.67< 0.x <0.7
  • Storm Bolt lvl 5 (660%): 0.75< 0.x <0.79
  • Skarphuggening lvl 1 (425%): 0.77< 0.x <0.81

such a great news, now its turning me to TOS white knights now XD

skar thingy lvl5
heavy shot lvl 1
backstab lvl 5
bounce shot lvl 5(10% more since i have lvl 20 attribute)
fulldraw lvl … 4 i think would have to check.
barrage 15
storm bolt 1

Anyone know if the 270/315 Hunting Ground has already been implemented in kTEST? And if yes, where are the entrances?

@EDIT: I took a look in the database and found that the entrance was in Grynas Hill, but when I went there I did not see the entrance.
