It costs roughly 10m to reroll your cube a couple of times if your group is able to clear it. One run per week per character that’s able to clear it. 99% of the time you get a single fragment from the cube, so 2-3 fragments per week per character that is able to clear. I believe it’s 27-36 fragments per weapon, depending on 1/2 hand. So roughly 12 weeks or 3 months if building a single weapon from scratch with a single clearing character (for a 2H weapon.) 2-2 1/2 for a 1 handed weapon.

Keep in mind you’ll need an optimized party with high damage weapons (trans, gems, anvils) to have a chance of clearing it on a given character.

Between Lancer2 and Hackapell2 which one has better damage on bosses/mob?

@greyhiem Is it possible to apply set effects to offhands like shields and daggers? that would allow you to potentially use 2 different 3 piece bonuses at once.

Yes!

Players are competing for faster clears, next clear is a little bit faster (~41min left after boss) and they expect to cut 1-2 minutes next runs. Team: pyro1 linker2 thauma3 enchanter2, kabba healer, link3 chrono3 runer, wiz3 ele3 warlock3, qs3 falconer3 mergen. They use clear speed for fun and to optimize party/play at raid.

@caiojmaia both mounted classes with high movespeed. Hitbox size is melee so it might be difficult to AoE clear mobs without party support. Lancer and hacka are classes which are able to clear saalus very fast every day. Final damage should take into account the complete classbuild, early ranks.

since it shares entries with ET it should be two runs per week, so two cubes and 4 rerolls, so you get at least 6 pieces/fragments per week(with token; costs for rerolling are extremely high, though).
Aside of the weapon, there is barely any point in getting the whole set unless you want to build ichored equipment and still have the Solmiki bonus(basically the attack bonus; it’s similar to the bonus you recieve with 7 pieces of solmiki gear) on it. The equipment skills look nice, but they aren’t really rewarding (except the physical one), considering you have to get 5 parts.

After the current armor & transcendence revamp, it’s becoming even easier to have really high amounts of defence (e.g. looking at Peltasta 3 which is now a walking T10 armor boost [T20 for physical defence] for a mere 3 Ranks in your build);
After doing the math, a T7 +9 Solmiki cloth set is already over 5600 pdef&11500 mdef, with buffs and cards you can easily get over 20k mdef and over 8k pdef on a non-Peltasta, with Peltasta you can ~ double the amount.
Belcoper set is only required to boost your maximum damage output (and possibly survival option if you don’t have enough base CON) since you can free your accesory slots[e.g. for Animus] and use ichored equipment boosts like e.g. Laitas Gloves or Masionios Shield.

Between a QS Bullet2, a QS Musketeer3 and a SR3, which one is better? Mostly for auto attacking build, with a few AoE skills

@greyhiem i was thinking in a variant of the kabba healer with diev 3 (cleric c1, priest c2) but i do wonder if those mobs can be silenced. i guess ausrine could also be helpful.

Judging from the video, Guardian is still not cancelled when switching to a twohanded weapon?
that’s just stupid…
I can already see SW1>Pelt3>Barb1>Doppel3>Shinobi [or Pelt2/Barb2] incoming, where Peltasta just solves all the problems of Doppels low defensive capabilities…

Btw, since the last update, armor got a huge defence boost, so do people survive noticeably better than pre-patch?
Given the people got a lot of refunded shards, I suppose that they upgraded their equipment with it.
I suppose there’s less or no need for Priest at all now if your party got enough CON.

Guardian never had a weapon requirement to begin with, you can use it with any weapon combination.

I know, but Guardian recieved a huge buff, which makes it questionable why it’s still not locked onto shield only;
I mean comeon, there’s no way that +200% pdef and +100% mdef as well as 20% damage reduction is not gamebreaking if used on a twohanded Class that is supposed to have a disadvantage by not wearing a shield [which still is worth only ~30-40% of your total defence]

Could be one of IMC’s solution to invite more players to play melee.

I mean look, there’s only a few usable and viable melees as of now for pve scenario.

And pelt was kinda dead before this because people rarely have the need for it, but now they do.

Pelt wouldn’t be hurt if it’s locked onto shield-only.
It would still encourage utilizing people to use Peltasta when using onehanded weaponry.

But with the current way the game is going (higher attack, 5 gem sockets, better transcendence boost, blocking without shield [Enchant Earth], higher bonus stats, more bonus stats by default and in total on twohanded weaponry) the developers have to make content even harder [more HP sponges] since they keep buffing & priviledging Classes that have access to and use twohanded weaponry because they become predominant on the battlefield.
Current Demon Lords being such huge sponges e.g. is a result of those fatal changes that just boost the attack power of certain Classes too much with less and less downsides of not wearing a shield (for Swordsmen, the need to wear a shield is now officially gone).

This makes certain Classes suffer more, so they need some adjustments, which then results in twohanded Classes picking them into their builds (as long as they don’t lock their skills to being only useable with onehanded weaponry).

This is a downward spiral resulting in onehanded Classes&weaponry becoming less and less effective in actual game content while twohanded weaponry&Classes become the only viable option to play the game&stay competitive.
I’m surprised that the developers don’t seem to realize this (especially considering that the transcendence costs of twohanded weapons are still lower than transcending a onehanded weapon and a subweapon/shield to the same stage; weapon&shield are ~115% of a twohanded weapon and weapon+subweapon are ~141% of a twohanded weapon) and keep priviledging twohanded weaponry with their supposedly “balancing” changes…

Swordie needs LESS weapon/off-hand requirements, not more.

Which build for the raid do you think would be best for Kabba? I mean, I know that having Priest 2>Kabba 3 is sufficient, but I can’t seem to decide between having C2>Priest3>Chaplain>Kabba3 or C2>Priest3>Oracle>Kabba3…

I have two. One with Oracle and Pardoner, and one with Chaplain. Both are good, but the first one will be better in GvG, and the second one better for Raid and WB. Both are cheap.

Mostly from iron skin and Aspergillum I suppose. I was thinking about if people already tried alternatives like monk’s Hand Knife: Armor Break for example

Pelt1(2) is becoming a popular 1 circle filler again. It reminds me of old swordie days with pelt taunt.

@asriel guardian still does not require any weapon stances.
Right now on live server the peltasta guardian attributes cap at pelt2.
Guardian buff: doubles your physical and magical defence.
Pelt1: evasion attribute (max +150 evasion).
Pelt2: 20% less damage taken when guardian is activated.

Pelt1 guardian 5 is 32s duration and 50s cooldown.
Pelt2 guardian at level 10 is 47s duration and 50s cooldown (3s down time). Most players regard pelt2 as most efficient if you are going to be a tank without shield. Besides the high def boost, pelt still features taunt.

First patch included a pelt3 attribute to triple defence, but it was too strong so it has been removed. They also removed the ability to share guardian buff with linker spiritual chain (this was too strong too).

Chaplain last rites buff is nice for parties with auto-attackers (reiter, bulletmarker, enchanter2, qs3 archer builds). Chaplain build levels easier if you are making a new cleric.

@kannushi not tried yet. Playing ‘full buff/heal support’ is easiest, that’s why. Walk around, use ein sof, and use heal + revive.
