Knowledge on rogues and fletchers needed!

That is why I noted that so they will take it with a pinch of salt. There are tons of factors needed for a full comparison. Obviously, the DPS comparison I gave is just theoretical.

Do ticks from Magic//Flare shot crit? Cuz I had something else in mind but not sure.

Yep, they do. So you can optimize around crit rate as well.

Im assuming something like this isn’t viable because of the Flare shot cooldown?

Double flare shot into coursing and sneak hit seems kinda ridiculous, that and you can stack str out the wazoo for more crit attack with crit debuffs//Gems. Just something I thought of and was wondering how bad it was lol.

Builds not the worst either, Ranger for feint+barrage,Hunter for coursing // -Mdef attribute and crit resistance debuff. Scout for double flare arrow and split arrow with cloaking. But as said before rotations are down the drain with the insane amounts of lag.

It would be better if you just told me what you meant exactly, instead of a meme post. I haven’t been perusing the Scout 3 guide lately so if this configuration just so happens to be there then I apologize I guess? I literally came up with it on the fly in after I received a response that flare shot ticks can crit.

Besides you know how many people ive sent over to that guide? Like I don’t even have enough fingers don’t you dare think I would take any sort of credit. And after the SR nerf im going to prolly go that build as my new archer.

I sincerely apologize if I disrespected you especially after you personally helped me. I will post this build in that thread and ask advice for it there to see if its viable. When I said " because it was bad" was because in most cases hunter seems to be useless class to take for most reasons especially only taking C1 or it. That and a lack of fletcher for world bossing because fletcher is god. as well as wagushi.Has nothing to do with the scout 3 part of witch is rediculosly strong.

Edited: Just a misunderstanding.

For people interested in this build, capturing cure apparently changes it to physical attribute and allows it to crit, while scaling off of your physical attack. Makes me wonder if it works the same for mage circles, things like zaibas and what not.

I did not have much time to level up yet but I’ll work on it, for science.

Wierd, I always thought captured Cure never crits. I’m pretty sure though that almost all mage skills captured takes your Matk into account and would never crit based on all my long experiences on playing multiple Lv200+ Rogues.

Can clarify.

Magic just has a default chance of 0% to critical hit, to which critical rate cannot modify that any higher than 0%.

Sneak Hit offering flat critical chance overrules this, and so captured magic can score critical hits thanks to this. The skill remains magic type and is not converted to physical, does not take their attributes into account, will take your attributes into account (magic deployed with a bow equipped that hits a flying enemy will still deal double damage), and can crit with circles of Rogue.

This was tested with Cure on a stationary player. I’m not sure how large the span of damaging magic this applies to, but presumably all.

I’d like to know a little more about Capture and certain skills, for example why using Capture on Pass redeploys it as a level one Pass (5s reduction instead of 25s reduction) instead of a level five pass, despite Capture’s level.

Ahh so thats how the mechanic of it works. Interesting, thanks for clarifying!
