This payment procedure is quite common for online transactions in Brasil. That’s why it was a Brazlian that found out about it but worry not! As of right now, the banks are closed already so not even if they wanted to, they could do this exploit up untill tomorrow.
It doesnt seem to be an IMC problem, bc it’s related to buying a product in steam.
People can do it using paypal or any payment too. This is NOT exclusive to Brazil, you just need to keep your order with payment pendent status.
For our non-portuguese friends: We’re now in the middle of an argument between someone who apparently exploited and regretted telling other people about it and the two people who turned this exploit public and reported properly. The heat is on!

I have a better idea: IMC should IP ban EVERYONE and then close their servers! There’ll be no bots, exploits or RMT!

More like its Steam screw up since it shouldnt allow the DLC usage without payment going through.
The thing is tho, the title is extremely missleading and I’d suggest the OP to change it. It is in no way an Infinite money exploit, since there’s no “ghost” silver being injected in the economy, just an overwhelming amount of Tokens being put for sale.
Wouldn’t the banks come after you if you don’t pay off the boleto?
Founder Pack Tokens would be enough, not really sure why they had to be tradeable in the first place.

I can’t say you’re wrong, this bug is well known since 2014 and Steam should have done something about it two years later.
I wonder if IMC can sue Valve/Steam for missed revenue…
