Increase sell price of materials

Materials should be another good way of a begginer get some coins, at least when not introduced to the Market.
Those materials could higher costs depending on what level it begins to be seen, plus how hard it is to be found.

Once you hit high level, getting silver is easy. Most people make money by selling recipe at npc. It worth a lot of silver

Either way, the materials should also give a good number of coins.
Because it is depressing, for example, starting the game and discover that all materials you looted on West Klaipeda Forest will only give you 1 Silver Coin.

A player who enjoyed the gameplay and just entered the town with his bag burdened with loot will not be happy to discover that all the items he found on the field will only give 1 Silver Coin.

I, myself, got very frustrated when begun the game and found out that all the materials I found only gave-me 1 Silver Coin.
If it were sold for around 3~5 Silver Pieces would be a lot better than just 1.

Thats a terrible idea xD.
This makes the game go into overinflation in a month or less.
I wrote a guide about this game’s economy if you want to check about they why.

Stop vending them put them on the market, players will buy kepa materials for 40 each to upgrade their gems.

Increasing the value of common materials is a terrible idea. Learning how to make money in a game is part of how MMOs work. If they just handed out tons of funds for no reason prices would inflate worse than they already do.

This game already has very poor resource management. Which is why when they “accidentally” converted all the CBT repair/teleport/vendor prices to the KBT ratios we all flipped out.

Economies are weird, some people understand them and why they work the way they do and some people don’t. MMOs have shown time and time again that game developers really don’t understand them.

Money in this game is ridiculously easy to obtain. If you are having trouble earning it you might consider changing the way you play, rather than asking them to change something that would impact the overall game so significantly in negative ways.

Well, the market is already broken, some items when they are being sold on the market, they are costing less than you would sell it on the store.

?? Money might be easy to obtain, but there are a TON of expensive money sinks. Which helps preserve the value of money

True and yet also not completely true. And IMC shows their lack of understanding in their attempts to fix inflation on the korean servers.

Money sinks go a long way to preserving the value of money, but if they are completely optional, like most of the big ones are in this game then they don’t necessarily serve their purpose.

A better option is to actually restrict the creation of new money. For starters if nearly everything you killed didn’t drop money, the value of money itself would increase tremendously.

So far this game actually has a pretty good balance of necessary money sinks and optional money sinks, it’s just the ways players have to create money from nothing that are too free. And IMC needs a better understanding of how a change to any of those values impacts players as a whole.

Popolion meat sells for 20 silver each. Enjoy your grind in East woods…

At level 100+ you can try to sell crystal fragments from Crystal Mine Lot 1. They go for 40 silver each and you get like 10-15 per crystal.

You should realize that materials should be either kept in your bags (They weigh very little) or sold to other players for a higher price than vendor price.

Thats what they’re for, not for a quick buck at the npc.
Its fine the way it is.

Just like EXP cards have ranks, drops should have ranks to sell for different prices at. It’s hard scrounging the money up for upgrading our gears without selling Recipes, which doesn’t feel like always the best decision. Even if drops stayed at 10% of the amount of one Recipe at the vendor, it would be enough.

I didn’t real the whole thread; but is OP really trying to say that materials NPC-prices should be increased to make ppl use the market feature? Thats terribly wrong, ppl won’t use the market to sell materials but they will sell them to the NPC.

Also: Nope, please don’t, it will flood the server with waay too much money. Right now ppl can sell low lvl mats to those who are buying mats to upgrade gems. Easy money for starters, without inflation. Or did I get this wrong?

I could easily get 2m grinding without selling anything (and yes this is very bad for the game), money shouldn’t even be something you should be worrying about in the early levels since attributes aren’t that necessary and equipments are handed to you on a silver platter. You just need enough for repairs as long as you’re not an idiot that dies every 2s.

Don’t buy those shiny purple gloves at the early level you don’t need that.

Have you played cleric, for example?

  • Blessing is shitty without the base attributes.
  • Heal tiles are triggered by mobs running over them.

Yes I am a cleric, yes I have played a priest, notice the word that?

I did, and still I think especially for the cleric, attributes are veryÂł important (yes, also in early-game). Never had issues leveling them so far, though.

I think people are just upset over the wording its more subjective per skill some have attributes that are a big deal some you don’t bother with till you have extra money.

Based on how much coins is acquired from selling equipments on the stores, the crystal fragments from Crystal Mine Lot 1 should give around 400~600 silvers each.

Yes, but there should be a third way of getting rid of the materials, since some of them may not end up being sold.
