IMC, let us repick jobs with TP

Most that are quite pro-reset simply want the convenience of feeling that they are the ‘top’, so I can see their reasoning, despite faulty to the core.

Pretty much. Though this game doesn’t have as much info as many modern games, there is still plenty. There are also a ton of helpful people on the forums. If you goofed up your build entirely, you didn’t do research. If you just want to reset so you can be the most powerful, you’re the exact reason why resets shouldn’t exist. People are just so hyper-competitive these days it is ridiculous.

wtf NOOOOO! who did this topic? some type of cocain dealer ?

Having to kill 230+ mobs to get rank 1 job levels…

That’s evil…i like it.

Personally not a fan of dimming player choice. If a number nerf hits your class and it is enough to detour you from playing it, you were probably playing it for the wrong reasons.

I am however on board for a circle reset for those affected by class reworks. Also, perhaps a way for players to test classes before making their choice at a given rank or maybe by just talking to any given class master?

I’ed prefer if they gave a circle reset to all players ONLY when new ranks are released.
Or new hidden classes are added at other ranks.

Other then that, your stuck with what you picked

While they’re balancing cleric stuff for PvP. Can monks get some damned range on double punch. It’s annoying enough that I have to run up to things that have position latency (oh it isn’t really where my game shows it is!? Oh my hand knife caused them to be stuck mid air while they pew pew my face?) but to add to the annoyance my Double Punch has to be used within the target!!?
[im leveling an archer and oh god is this fcking cake compared to lvling my Cleric, tagging mobs from a screen away and hitting like a McTruck, auto lock makes a newborn able to play any archer. Even the worst DPS archer build is miles ahead of the ease and lackluster damage of a monk] I mention this because for some builds. Like monk, plague doctor might be the only redeeming thing that kind of pulled it together. Please oh god when updating and nerfing look into buffing or simply making things work as intended for the affected classes as well.

I have a recording of fighting Glutton (Lvl 230 Bear quest Boss) in which I could not double punch him while he was face to face with me due to his hit box being smaller than his physical animation size. His front claws while on all fours literally just push me too far and I could be running as close as I possibly could and try to double punch, to no avail. Z attack had enough reach though. Sigh Please Fix Monk before you nerf PD!!

/insert vid of that other monk double punching surrounded by those floating beholders while he got meleed by then all and he literally was punching air

Mean a while… PD is still taking over top 100 PvP in KR…

Let me ask you sir. What have you been smoking on?

But yeah, using TP to change job

+1 to this.

As far as PvP goes, PD is still vital. Having any amount of time where you’re immune to CC and the enemy team is not is time that you can win. CC wins matches in Battle League, majority of the time triumphing over raw damage.

Healing Factor changes were needed because full constitution PD builds were literally plaguing Battle League since it require your full-manned five person team to focus them down, which was seldom viable unless they were the only ones left alive.

PvE Plague Doctor is still an incredibly strong class and very useful all the way through ET.

In regards to the topic, I’m pretty indifferent towards job circle changes. I’m not against re-selection after major rebalances, TP usage, or a menial in-game task. Though I do agree that any re-selections should be only tweak changes, to prevent the habit of leveling builds vs. bossing builds, for example.

this thread isn’t about pd. it was just a personal example. anything related to pd is off topic

All the Wakfu people in this thread make me smile

especially since the only one I recognize is Icekin

While I do think it should happen I believe it needs to be in scales

Increase the price of the reset based on what rank you are in a similar fashion that Wakfu did it where the higher level you were the higher the cost of your class change.

Let’s say ranks 1 - 3 cost 200 TP Ranks 3 - 6 Cost 500 TP and Ranks 7 - ??? Cost 1k TP

It would allow you to completely rechoose your classes (would probably need some form of a new questline for this I would assume) and have a cool down of one month - or longer between resets.

Make the cooldown Team specific and not character specific and you got yourself a balanced way of making a lot of money off your playerbase

I’ve played enough games where people just get to easily switch between any class they want and it’s not a good thing in the end.
Diversity of classes is very important.
Just like in real life

Screw that, this is the sort of ■■■■ that would ruin the game.

Everyone would just play a single “easiest to level class” then switch into what they actually want to do at end game. It’d ruin the entire progression process.

Which is why you put limits on it and make it cost a significantly large amount.

Stop being so close minded

If they do it like that, i quit.

Also wakfu sounds way different than this. bad example.

I prefer a long and hidden quest limited to 1 circle or 2 at most per character for circle change.

If tp come into play, it would give business incentive to design and redesign bad class to make money.

But i think from business perspective, best would sell circle change item that can be sold on market and milk it. Or introduce RO rebirth like system to make player play game longer.

Can say the same for you.

You really can’t though because I completely understand and respect both opinions.

I sure don’t mind a class reset if the significantly large amount is equivalent to a time sink of at least 70% the time it takes to re-level a new character.

A 100-hr to complete quest to ‘cure your revelator of his/her mid-life career crisis’ will be fun.

A TP buy to change class is a no-no no matter what price IMC put it at. It just feels too easy and buy to win.
