But you dont have this as well.
It need to be in the game.how i dont care.tp or silver or what ever.
Any sort of class resets are absolutely unforgivable. This will just enable people to level up and grind with the best PvE classes and stats, and when theyâre high level enough theyâll just reset.
At most, Iâd be okay if you could reset your last class choice ONLY. Not any of your previous circles.
Itâd be great if you could start another classâ jobchange quest before finishing up another one that you already started. Some people just click the wrong class by mistake and canât change, even though they havenât even changed yet.
You should lvl all your toons to rank class 6 . So when your main toon got nerfed move on to the next or you can be like that will just sulk it up and enjoy your toon. Lol
And how its bad? What the bad part here?
Do you really have to ask? The gameâs about diversity. Itâs the whole point of the classâ system, and ToSâ main appeal. if you allow this, everyone is just going to roll whatever is easiest at first, and then change later.
on the contrary, if you DONâT allow this, everyone will just bandwagon the same clases that work FOR SURE, instead of trying new class combinations that might or might not work
Indulge me tho why that matters, i have been curious for a while about what seems to be a salty attitude at best.
Whats the actual issue here? That someone leveld up faster than you did? So should we ban xp scrolls too, because of some reason thats beyond me, ppl are getting butthurt when some random dude levels up faster or more efficiently than they did?
If this attitude would be the norm then we would not have anything. Literally. No tokens, xp scrolls, boosts, and then we would turn on healing items such as potions because how dare ppl just regenerate in an instant, instead of sitting down and waiting it out like the rest of the players.
I mean⌠prove me wrong, but all these âunforgivableâ arguments and posts come down to one single thing:
Yeah, right. Everyone you see walking around always has the same builds that are 100% optimized, right? Itâs not like people choose classes for fun, for looks, or merely for experimentation.
Please think before you post.
You do understand that now we have no diversit. Becouse people dont want to take a class that is not on the âgood buildsâ.show me how much diversit you have in swordsman builds? All i see is Dragoons.you know why?
see? exactly the point I made here:
Ye we written it at the same time.
Just because goons are popular, it doesnât mean that theyâre the only viable choice. Or the only worthwhile choice.
Do you people understand what youâre defending? That everyone should level the exact same classes the exact same way? Whatâs the point of everything else in the game, then?
to be able to efficently do stuff in the game
THATâS THE POINT, the ammount of people that are willing to throw 200+ hours into a character just to test if it works or not is minimal
thatâs the exact opposite of everything weâre saying⌠you think we want it to be free and completely unrestricted, which is something we donât want either.
Without the ability to test out classes to find new builds and combos that might work, without a way to re-spec then most of the posible theory-crafters and guide-writers wonât even bother, because as I said before, wasting 200+ hours on a character just to test if it synergizes with this or that class to find out it really doesnât work, and that all that work was wasted, it not exactly my definition of fun.
You can see that I also said class repick is needed in case new options are introduced or there is a major change to the class itself.
In this particular thread, the OP is crying because his overpowered class got nerfed. Thatâs not a justified reason for class repick.
I donât advise people to do research either (because if you pick an overpowered class, you obviously did the research)
Like most RPGs, there will be times when new comer just throw away there first character because of bad build. It is expected to happen
Also for versatility and for science! people wonât experiment with crazy combinations that might work if they canât fix it in case it doesnât.
completely agreed
man I remember like 10 years ago my high INT archer in RO because I didnât want it to be stupid.
I feel like they should just make 2 different server with skill reset and one without.
Or just make it so that you have to take a really obnoxious quest to get the skill reset. This quest should be really annoying so that only people take the quest that think its worth the effort. Maybe make it so that you need to pay TP just to start the quest so IMC also gets some money out of it.
I think an appropriate compromise, would be to have them make the tool-tips not be the vaguest things in the world and work on these ridiculous skill functionality exceptions (or at least make note of them) and then give everyone a respec when it is over. After which only dispense them to those affected by major class changes.
In an environment in which information is readily available resets are a silly option in my opinion, we just happen to be missing too much of it currently.
Like an RP server! thatâd be sooooo cool
