Oh. You work for IMC now? You know what they are doing in the future? No? You’re just making things up? Okay.
The game is at full release.stop your retarded beta BS.
how would you feel if your circle 3 skill was moved to circle 1 because to IMC it just made more sense… and the whole point of you going to circle 3 was to get that skill…
lets say that do that for 3 of the 10 classes you choose on your way to 600… that’s not going to be very fun for you. trust
you know what, if they decide not to implement this, but add a RP server, I’d be playing that and I’ll never complain again, RP is really cool and this game is SCREAMING for RP-ing
What do you think the sheer odds are of them moving a skill from circle 3 to circle one…on 3 classes…in one tree…all of which you chose specifically for those 3 exact skills? 1 in 10 billion roughly?
show me 1 single MMORPG that has NEVER made a single rework to ANY playable character EVER on 5+ years of publishing and then I’ll accept I’m making ■■■■ up.
it’s actually on EARLY ACCESS, which is a form of beta, so no, it’s not at full release, and with so many bugs and problems, if it was at full realease, it’s doomed

Big.they dod it.they can add new class not as 8 class but 4 or 3 or 2.
Okay, first of all, this isn’t any game other than Tree of Savior. Stop pretending it isn’t. Secondly, I don’t know what’s happened in the past 2 years or so with these games but Final Fantasy XI never had a single reworked class and I believe neither did Lineage II.
IMC has literally stated that this game is not in beta, so as usual, you are incorrect.
How about, NO.

1 in 40 revamps. over the years, its going to happen
Thinking that ToS will stay in the state it is right now without a single balance or revamp over the next few years it’s just plain stupid, specially since we’re already seeing balance patches roll around, I’m not even going to bother trying to explain why revamps are unavoidable.
Also:
we need to look at this from a rogue 1 2 3 standpoint…
to get to rogue it had 4 circles before it… and you can max it out around 250. but the way rogue works right now is so lackluster that even if you 100% all attributes, completely min/max for your rogue dmg, you still rarely use any of the skills there. the 2 main dmg skills are inferior to the circles before it… and will be inferior to the circles after it… unless they tweak, and do more items like karacha set. its 100% a very nonviable part of this game right now. new circles will continue to provide higher outputs, and your lower circles already OUTPERFORM the 3 circles of rogue. because the balance isnt there, they need to offer resets for times like these. for people that stumble into situations like these.
full release is where the game at.lARLY ACCESS is no beta.
TP reset is not really good even with a cooldown. There are just too many things which are affected here apart from giving players the convenience.
One of the appeals and selling points of ToS is the cute class costumes and unique classes. Having a TP class reset is like gaining access to other class costumes without being in the class itself. Fair to others
I don’t think it would be game-breaking. If there are concerns about constantly changing classes, restrict it so that they may only change once per character or account. Maybe allow changes to occur up to a certain level/circle. For example, only c1 of a class can be changed, or players below level 120 can change.
instead of arguing about terminology, let’s agree on the fact that the game is fresh, new, and it has a lot of changes, fixes, expansions, classes dungeons and level caps to come
Ohh but its not terminology. Its diferent things.its new so what.
This reasoning is flawed though. Especially now at game start when people do not really know anything about the full potential of classes. Check out sorcerer for example.
The expectation is summoning boss monsters. Its nowhere stated however that the ai is crap, the summons do not use any of their original skills, that there already are (and most likely will be even more) restrictions to them such as summon kills not triggering achievement progress.
The popular answer is “you should have done research on it”, but thats in itself is just like your original argument: Nobody should start a class or a game with the expectation that everything is broken to ■■■■ and balance does not exist so rolling classes is basically a minefield.
Thats not how a game is supposed to or should work.
This brings me to my conclusion: i have mixed feelings about rerolling classes, but as it is, especially at the end of the beta period, its needed.
Its needed because some things are broken and you could not even know about it because information on it was either hard to find, hidden in some reddit post, or non-existent/non-translated at all.
If the game had been around for a year now and all classes and all their features would have been documented, i would be pretty reserved on class reseting, i would not recommend it because its only common sense to understand what you are rolling into. If you dont, then its your mistake.

P.S.: The alternative is people leaving the game. Simply because most people cba to throw away a lvl 200+ character they worked on for months.
what I mean is that AT LEAST on major balances, revamps, reworks, cap increases, etc, there needs to be an option to re-work your character because there’s NO WAY to plan ahead when we don’t know what circles 8, 9 and 10 will offer, or what would the 320 levels we don’t know yet will give us.
