im also a circle 3 scout… except i went hunter 1 instead of ranger 1… pvp reasons
I already mentioned this on one of my replies. I for one have a Hunter + Scout C3 back on CBT 2 so I know this synergy you’re talking about. Even still, the pet AI is so bad that this Hunter+Scout for PVP isn’t entirely recommended. Especially if your enemy knows how to counter pets.
My build is also pure PVE. Being pure STR or having STR:DEX with few CON should make that obvious enough. PVP is all about being pure CON.
I should add a DISCLAIMER on the original post.
Ah i see, that makes sense! thanks!
I’m going the same A3>S3>F1 build. My motivation for the build is the Archer C3 costume though haha, love that costume.
F1 is mostly for single-target utility more than anything else since Split Arrow solves many of your mobbing issues. Bodkin Point for reflect removal/defense reduction and Broadhead for bleed. Barbed Arrow is a filler when Twin Shot is on CD since you can’t really kite with it. Maybe 1 level of Crossfire for the burn attribute. I’m more stumped with the stat distribution (favouring DEX more atm) but I’m thinking of going 1:1 eventually since you can squeeze out crit rate with gems.
Love your build though, it’s a fresh perspective from all the R7 Musketeer/Cannoneer builds.
Why wouldn’t you take R2 instead of A2 though? Multishot 10 is nice but you don’t benefit much from the Swift Step attribute if you’re full/mostly STR since it’s Crit Rate and not Crit Chance. I’d say that the higher levels of Barrage/Steady Aim would do you more good than just Multishot 10 and its fast charge attribute. It may not be a huge damage increase but I would think that it’s marginally better. Since Feint doubles Barrage’s damage as well I personally think that would be better.
Im almost going a similar path as you except that my R7 class would be maybe rogue. I’ve just recently tested flare shot… and my oh my… I can see why its a really nice target for capture…
Yup, capture and flare shot are really good. Only downside is that it doesn’t work well against constantly moving targets, but the damage is insane against anything stationary.
I’m a sucker for pure-bow type characters though, so I’ll continue with fletcher haha.
hmm just noticed that it doesn’t hurt flying xD oh well… at least the bow attri will do its work and the infamous split arrow.
I know but the crit rate boost affects gear stats as well. If I managed to stack 200 at least crit rate from gears, Swift Step would push it to 250 which is already near my target 270-300. That 50 additional crit rate is like 2 pcs of Lv5 Gems, it’s worth it.
I already made a comparison about Lv5 vs Lv15 Barrage and how it will affect my current damage. I will only get 18% damage increase from Feint+Barrage and it will be decreased further once I get better gears. My current attack is nowhere near end-game stats, KR players have around 1.6k-1.8k base. I only have 1.2k. That’s roughly just 60% of their stats.
Fixed. It damages flying-bosses.
What stats need for leveling? I go pure STR and die really fast:(
maybe you’re in a zone that’s not meant for your level?
5 level difference, but the leveling guide tell stay within +/- 5 level.
do you keep your distance from the mobs? Barrage is supposed to make things a lot easier…
Pure STR build is just for really really hardcore builds. Go for the budget build if you think you could not support pure STR. You can also get head costumes with HP instead of patk first.
Reguardless if you go full STr or full dex a full ANYTHING build is all funding dependent to fill in the stats you are missing.Until you fix that gap you will have lack something making you gimped in some regards
If you can’t fund it going a full build will always be rough
Moonlight senpai playing this game huh =))
Pure STR is very hardcore build indeed, you sacrifice all of you defense and HP for pure dps. Even though the build is good, it’s better to go for budget build if you’re NOT hardcore player (not NEW players).
Okay, one question what is budget build?
I remember you! That Katar whose build was inspired from my build? It’s funny how I remember your name but can’t remember your IGN.
You sacrifice a pure STR build and get some DEX instead. 3:1 or 2:1 should probably define a budget build. I’ll update the Stat Distribution Section.
Ok Thx for the help^^
Updated the Stat Distribution section. It should give you a clearer idea and possibly be able to decide which to go for.
