Won’t you get “overcapped” in critical rate, at least in R7 content, when you go full-high DEX with the Rogue class, given that you can fully utilize Sneak Hit’s benefits?

I understand that Gems really is the defining factor here. I even have three lv5 red gems in my bow using this build, though following a 3:1 STR/DEX ratio atm cause I don’t really have a definite plan in stat allocation and is yet to acquire end-game gears like Sissels.

I’m just puzzled with regards to the full-high DEX route. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of Rogue C1’s Sneak Hit?

If you mean me, I have 0 dex since I got rogue 1 + ranger 2, I’ll try to max attributes of 2 chars max.
I won’t main the scount, the transcendance will be for another char and weapon.

Monsters often cast random spells and stop moving for seconds, or only a limited number can move at the same time, it’s not hard to positionate yourself for sneak hit and bounces.

it is hard to understand since imc never said anything about it. they said and INT and SPR rework though.
Think is that nobody cares about your specific build, what @jchsc32 is trying to say is that you guys are suggesting people to build an old build that does not take into account new red/yellow gem changes and weapon transcendence, and that people need to be informed about the fact that you can get 3k+ physical attack easily with 0 str.
the str setup on that build is not for everyone and is pretty expensive. Especially know with how easily you can get high physical attack/critical attack.
in my server lvl 10 cards cost 5m each, so thats like 30-40m silver spent on cards just so you can meet the dps of someone who went full dex with red gems.
If you guys want to go that route go ahead, nobody stops you, just have to inform people on the costs of it.

It was just a personal choice and try.
There may be 3 main scouts builds but it’s not like people will main scount 3 and invest transcendance unless there is a meta band wagon to come.
Even if I had 4 scouts, all would have different builds out of curiosity.

So the issue of this build we’re talking about right now is that this isn’t cost-efficient versus stereotype DEX Archer classes?

High-full STR is still reasonable if you have the resources(and guts :muscle:) to spend on this build?

Hmm just choose w/c opinions and inputs are realistic or w/in your bounds (resources wise). Some people tend to berate other builds w/o ever going to that path. If I advise you to go to path A rather than path B then a “Mr.Somebody” will pop out again berating my opinion, get my point?

Better to ask a direct question like questions for the high dex archer “or” high-full str, comparison will confuse you. Cheers and welcome to the most active thread (Scout threads :p).

(I personally own two scouts: maining a hybrid (yes haven’t used the reset yet) falc-mergen and currently rerolling a full-dex (31con) rouge (iDreamy).

Hi,

I was just finishing my cards building and now currently doing gems.
A quickie question tho, according to jchsc, his build utilizes on red gems.
What I want to know is, did he meant red gems in all the parts? (weapons and armors)? Am taking advantage of the harvest festival, trying to get those abrasives to get as many level 6 or 7 gems as possible. Therefore, need to know the right gems for each part of it. Any help or advice given will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

bow using red gems is a must for scout3. armor part is up to you, but i think 4 red gem lv 6 in armor top and bottom is very good, 4k HP.

Question: I have an archer with Archer C1 and Ranger C2, and would like to save it. Is this still workable for Scout, or should I re-roll for Archer C3 > Scout C3?

Anything should work with scout3, the classic archer3scout3 has some serious trouble for single target unless it becomes a main with transcendance.

tbh i would pick rogue at rank 7 instead of fletcher with that build. Since you already have ranger 2
going fletcher c1 means you will have a bunch of mediocre skills that require you to craft arrow for and since you don’t have archer 2 rogue will make your build better. (even though i’m not a fan of it its true for your case)

Ok, scraping Fletcher. If I’m going Rogue, can I skip Capture and max the rest of the skills? Should I also go all the way for Rogue instead of going Mergen?

wouldn’t do that
i would get feint, capture and sneak hit, vendetta is bad
and no, do NOT pick rogue instead of mergen rogue c2 at rank 8 is VERY weak compared to mergen
you can also go falconer mergen which can be strong too but it takes up a char slot so im not sure if you want that its kinda better with archer 3
reason you pick rogue c1 is mainly for feint and sneak hit.
rogue c2 at rank 8 will be a total nightmare

dont go cloaking lv 15. better split it to cloaking lv 10 and camouflage lv5

flu flu is… weird. sometimes it can aggro all the enemies, other times it make them fight each other. i still far from mastering it

Skipped the 2 rooms with magic mobs, got around 200-250k + 0-3 Artiloniums per run.
