so faint has a max target of 8 at lvl 5 does aoe attack ratio affect it? and can you cast it from a distance or do you have to be in melee range for it to hit anything? and for equipment if I don’t have a mana-mana and have a karacha dagger can I use that as a placeholder till I get mana-mana or should I just go full 2 hand bow and forget about using a crossbow till I get silver for mana-mana?
Flare Shot will automatically benefit from Sneak Hit when you reposition behind the boss. It’s your character position that will decide whether Sneak Hit will proc or not.
It has max 7 targets at Lv5, 3+4 = 7. No it does not get affected by AOE attack ratio.
It has a rectangle AOE that extends pretty far, maybe about 3 meters long.

I currently have a A2 QS3 SC1 soon to be Cannoneer but am already laying the preparations for starting a SC3.
A question I would like your advice with is if it’s necessary or crucial to awaken the main and off hand weapons?
I am currently using a 10+ SKS (5/9 potential) and manamana on the Cannoneer to be.
Should I attempt for higher weapon refines with the remaining potential or just awake the SKS and hope for a decent stat?
What awakened stats are considered to be decent?
I’ve had horrible horrible RNG with cubes so I’m not having too much hope for a Didel GC at this point heh. Bandit is definitely a first choice but I don’t think it’ll be economically sound at this point. Haven’t seen any either on Telsial.

It’s cheap and good way to get abit more boost on your stats. I recommend it.
What I did was awaken a bunch of SKS first and got a +9 crit rate one and settled with it. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend getting it above +10. Settle for +10 and hunt for Bandit. Although I personally don’t know where to get Bandit.
Patk is the only good one. 30-40 elem atks are decent. Crit rate is fine too.
hi dream! I’m planning to try your build as my first character, but I’m a little confused about the stats… full STR or 3:1 STR/DEX what do you recommend for first character? and how about ping? i have 200ms generally, it’s ok?

Finally FINALLY got the green gems to lvl 5 and got my khasti bow all set up!!! yay me!!
But im scared to go full STR, I don’t think ill be able ot get the things that will balance it out anytime soon (Headgear enchants,Petamion of anytype,etc) How has it been working out for you? I cant decide between full str and 3:1, 3:1 feels like im wasting so much potential but on the flip side it works really well with leather and helps the low crit rate until rogue R7.
Try use VPN to cehck your ping.
I’m currently leveling a new character using the gearing guide I set. I built it with full STR from the start and so far zero problems. I think the question is more on being hardcore or not because the gears required by a full STR build is way too expensive.
It’s fine, Split Arrow would be abit slower but not as bad as a QS C3 at 200ms ping.
Haven’t resetted yet. I was testing it out on a new character though, so far no problems especially with Tenet Chainmail. I’m thinking of adding Health Stone next.
hi dream, very good guide. i made mistake when i start playing this game by following my frnd’s advice and went play qs3-sc-musketeer build as my 1st char… running shot scaling is really disappointing due to no artibute scaling and required many luxury items to perform well. now i regret my decision and start to reroll scout c3 (i have lv 216 qs3 TT)
my question is how about the cost of using mana pots, i get used to play qs3 that mana pot is never an issue. what is the best way to sustain mana from spaming split arrow budget wise? buying lv10 pot from market? how many silver for that on average market price? im really worry about my budget since im going to budget build anyway (3:1 stredex,30con as you mentioned above)
so final invested stats gonna be something like 200str 70dex 30con, is this okay for budget build?
as for eary level gears is it better to use xbow+arde? given that i have very little valuable items on my current qs3 that can tranfer only arde and sissel ring are all i have now QQ… manamana is still out of reach (playing on varena Sea)

I’d say these are luxury items as well. You’ll have no problems with just using 2H-Bows while leveling. Even at Lv170, I was just using Khasti Bow until Lv252 and had no problems with damage output, and I just duo’d with my Chronolinker friend means I’m the one doing most of the damage. Our pace was still fast too.
It’s only for beast though and there’s quite few beast enemies. It’s also unnecessary expense.

Hi dream, nice guide you got there, currently i’m A3>SC2 with 3str:1dex stat,planning to go A3>SC3>cannoneer, i’m wondering whether i should socket green gems as soon as i got khasti bow?all 3 of them?Should the gem be lvl5/or lvl 6 first?
Khasti Bow is just temporary weapon so Lv5 Gems should be fine, or even no gems. Better invest on Xbow+Cannon later on instead.
@Dream Sorry to bother again, i’m got my archer to lv80 with full str till now and not haven’t any trouble after staying in 5 +/- level. But after the last update my ping gotten way bad like .05 to 1.5 so i’m thinking of switching to the budget build mostly for survive, So i wanna know will it help my survive or it’s still better to go full str?

I would like to survive 2 hits in earth tower. How much con should I invest in a so far pure str build?
Judging from vids that should be above 11k I would like 15k.
High level mobs usually hits for 5k. 10k+ should be enough to survive at least 2 hits. If you really want more HP, 10 CON = 1k+ more HP, judge from that.
Hi there, thanks for the detailed guide. i am still a new player and don’t have a high lvl char yet, the higher is a cleric>diev 3 lvl 120. I and would like to ask you how far you think i can reach with a full STR build without the equipments required? Will i reach a point in the game where i get one shotted in dungeon/farming or other content im not aware of, that i can’t overcome and get frustrated?
Trying to make (continue) making my Scout3 soon, not sure if Flare shot gem is worth to use or just sell it.
Speaking of gems for spells, is there a list of monsters that drop them?
And wich ones worth putting in weapon (in meta gear) over green gems, if any at all? Perhaps multi shot gem? Does it matter what part of item have the gem? I assume best to use them on slots where green gems dont give crit rate, is that correct?
