ok i will take my time and decide which one will i choose haha (leaning to dream build :D)

sapper 2 /scout 3 is my build , this build destroy fly and ground unit , easy to use because not to many combo using skill , but don’t have burst damage , hard for pvp

archer c3 and scout c3 cannot take rogue?

the reason for rogue in this build is blending ranger c1 and scout c3 together, without ranger, cannon and musket are better at r7 even if only by a bit. too bad dream isnt around any longer to offer an opinion.

but either way archer c2 ranger c1 is stronger than archer c3 for most builds.

And about flareshot 2x? Sneak Hit for more critical rate on builds based on heavy STR? Rogue provides A LOT of dps on single target for scouts3.

I’m a3>scout3>rogue and i’m doing great on everything except on AOE. I’m playing with a Cryo/Chrono, so 2xFlareshot + Split arrow can “”“replace”"" that hole. My single target dps is great with multishot 15 and Twin arrows, both with atributtes50+. Sadly, barrage+feint would fit better because of AoE, but rank8 is near, so a new class with great AoE skills would synergize very well with that build too. If you choose Musk or cannoneer, maybe you will be forced to go circle2.

well ya, rogue is still good without ranger, but it would be slightly subpar to musket/cannon in that case. still standing behind the fact that archer2ranger1 > archer3 alone and with rogue included by even more.

making an assumption on r8, musket/cannon beat archer 3 for this build. but somewhere dream made comments on going rogue 2 if the r8 new classes werent better.

honestly, my opinion for guessing about new archer classes is that r8 will be just as strong if not stronger than musket/cannon, but maybe not their circle 2. and if pied piper comes as a hidden class, itll have a small class selection path due to its supposed Int scaling.

more thoughts on pied piper if int scaling. if its mainly utility/cc it can fit in many builds as an option of that sort, but if its damage that would be different. people might have to build based on ignoring dex (to keep from being MAD - multiple stat/attribute dependent) thus rogue/wugu come to mind for forcing or preferring str focus, but musket/cannon/archer2 and their crit-happiness may be subpar for pied piper. either way i think scout3 would fit with a utility piper possibility - since you have distortion and camoflauge as utility already, and damage piper possibility - this build runs rogue.

A grounded skill with a heavy dps and long cd for rank8 make another huge sinergy too. For me, capture is a great skill for itself. If arrowrain thats have been leaked (or even another skill for r8 archers) work as grounded, we will be able to choose single dps hardcore with 2x flareshot or more AoE dps with rank8 grounded aoe skills.

Really hoping for that, i dont wanna re-roll just for ranger. lol

I notice that all hidden are located on ranks with a Moneymakerclass (Pardoner, Alchemist) or the guild class (Templar), giving a second choice, the dps class or the hidden, for those who dont wanna go for money/utility path. Archers dont have this, so rank 8 can be hiddensupport(Pied) + moneycraftclass(Appraiser) + dpsclass?

Well, this discussion is pointless for now, but I like to discuss about future ranks! x)

if new classes give enough skills (highly likely by rank 9 and 10) that we cant use ranger damage skills well (particularly barrage) – say, 3x barrage every gap where flare/capture is down – then archer3 will beat ranger1 just by a hair since you still get value from steady aim. in this situation, unless there are more deployable aoes to take advantage of as rogue in the future, ranger’s value falling would mean rogue’s value falling below musket/cannon by a bit. there is a situation that works as an exception here: other classes at later ranks that provide needed support for capture, aka more deployables or more cooldown reduction.

would steady aim be worth a dead circle in a build though (assuming barrage isn’t used enough due to lack of filler time with future class skills) the answer is yes and no. yes the 10% buff will last regardless of what happens in the future, and depending on how damage scales with future lvls and ranks it may provide more damage than the 3rd circle of archer ever could. on the other hand, 1 buff is hard to make up for 15 skill points used in a class.

So im scout C2 now (yay) having fun not using split arrow (im being sarcastic) But I just picked up Flare shot lvl 10 and perspective distortion 1 ala the skill tree build.

Now onto the actual problem, when im channeling the Perspective distortion my SP drains normally (still too much imo but whatever), my main problem is if I cancel the skill or I get attacked, out of distortion my SP pool will continue to drain until it hits 0. And I cant cancel it by sitting or jumping either.

IDK how to put in a bug report or whatnot so if someone can tell me how or if this is even a bug that would help a lot. Also before you suggest that I put in a ticket, I don’t know how. so “Hey just put in a ticket” reply aint gunna work. Thanks in advance!~

the hardest part of going scout3 is getting scout2

archer c3 can get archer costumes ?
i think that costumes is nice
i going for 130 dex and 50 con Kneeling Shot is good to have
Swift Step too lazy keep looking at buff and 15 lvl moving a bit faster
Split Arrow i will also spam this skill
for me capture not just can copy my own skill is a fun skill to have but the CD for capture is crazy long

I think it’s the Distortion continuing to work, but without the actual effect. Had it many times, there’s the same problem with hiding under the barrel, when you end up moving slowly and being unable to do anything unless you use Camo again.

True. I used only 3 skillpoints from Scout2 and had to keep the rest until Scout3. Torture!

Does Split Arrow lv1 better than lv5 at spammer?
I mean, add 300 dame but u lose more 20sp per skill (17 -> 37). And does bounced arrows have that dame, or 300 dame only for main shot ?

They already discuss it before, yes it is worth lvl5 for the reasons:
-300 damage target (+150 with 50% skill att)
-600 damage bounced arrow (+300 with 50% skill att)
-C3 skill
-You can always drink lvl10 sp pots

You are spammer type, so get those SP RECOV 35+ hair accessories when farming (if its cheap on your server)

My plan something like: Gem + hair costume + card boss regen sp. Sp pots very cheap in my server, too. So money’s not problem (lol).

In this case.
900 dame, or 1200dame = 10% - 15% dame at high level now, at higher cap, it will lower, but we lose x2 speed run out of SP (17 + 20).
100% more sp lost for just 15% dame, i mean, 20 hit or 23 hit.
Is that really worth??

If we need less sp regen (just 17 per hit), we dont need so much sp regen, and forcus for more dame, or HP.
I think that’s better.

And so… “C3 skill” is not a reason =))))

well then, its up to you to max it or leave it to lvl1.


because scout only have split arrow and flare shoot for dps , why take point for other skill that not very usefull ?

Is Flare Shot effect by character’s atk aoe ratio? much obliged.

I have my own answer, i will save 4point and think again when higher lvl, tks you.

Flare shot is one of the archer’s true AOE skill.

meaning any mobs that step on it will receive damage, thus AoE attack ratio is useless for Flare Shot.
