I mean, it’s not bad I just have a technical misconception because if I see a hop to the US it would mean (to me) that I should have over 150ms, but in this case even when it hops to NA, I still have 61ms so maybe I don’t understand quite well how routes work

Im currently getting ~200ms from syd australia, probably because its getting into primetime and traffic goes up… using a vpn still get around ~130ms…

To the ppl on Argentina / chile and others, just do the test again and wait, i was getting 130ms minutes ago, probably much traffic

What? I’m getting 38ms from Argentina.

Why does it hop to the US first? I mean, I have 62ms right now so I don’t really care but I want to understand why it goes there and still gives me low ping

well, not for those above.

try a tracert instead of ping and post your result here, it may be a bad route, if that’s the case, you can either contact your ISP or use a VPN, if it’s not, check it again after a few minutes/hours, the server might just be too busy atm.

Nope, you will have to suck it up on East Coast servers. We Easties always played niche MMOs on the west coast, like RO for example, and dealt with it.

I live in switzerland and im getting 500+ latency on european server. What the heck is up with that? No, its not my internet provider. This last maintenance just messed things up. I feel like the server is being hosted in japan or something.

I live in México, my ping to EU (220ms) and SEA (230ms) is better than the ping I get to SA (255ms).

Man, I really hate latam routing.

im from ecuador and got 220 ping to SA, 220 to EU 350 to SEA and 100 to NA… hte world is a mess xD

im actually surprised that mexico has more ping than us to NA o.o
