that is also my build xD
im going W3 just for sake of research.
pls elaborate ._.
we need to hear your reasons/experience in order to take better decisions
just my opinion because Iâm playing as qs3, as you level your poison you gain more duration from it, what would benefit from it? nothing end game, since boss is all about burst and WUGU wouldnât shine from it, party grind? with wugu youâd have CD on your AOE and your posion 20s from wugong wouldnât last 10secs and mobs will fall from other classes AOE so thatâs a big DPS loss, compared to a cannon who have short CD in AOE makes it more useful for ET ( in case they would want an archer) and party grind. mybe wugu3 would shine later on when more content on tougher mobs release. wugu has really good AOE damage but fights have to last longer for it to be effectiove and I donât think going wugu3 would solve any of it. Thoughts?
Iâm not getting my hopes up getting invited to end game content as qs3 wugu, currently there are QQ threads in reddit about them being kick from pub parties. IDK if wugu would fill the role of it seeing how long our poison CD is and how fast mobs fall.
Not everyone sees ET as end game. Some play just for the sake of playing.
I for one isnât interested in clearing ET.
Just making a build that can solo level 250/280 instance dungeon is enough.
Thereâs a A3 > QS3 > Musket that can do that. Even without Musket, the player was able to finish the dungeon in 9minutes. Iâm ok with that.
I donât think anyone has even tried going for the build and idea of what I have, if there is, I havenât read it.
If weâll all want to go for ET, weâd rather go Paladin or Wiz instead anyways. But hey, that is what alts are for.
Solo. Soloing stuff. QS3 will still have a down time regardless of having Didel GC and RS Gem, so looking for some filler that will not force you to change weapons is welcome moreso because of Ping issues that will make swapping stuff clunky.
Casting Wugu skills while waiting for RSâs CD wonât that much be a waste anyways.
Your opinion is welcome and I do agree with that but who likes to invte QS into AoE PTs anyways. All knows QS canât do AoE or even burst for that matter, thatâs where Ranger/Musket/Fletcher/Cannon shines.
well if not everyone sees ET as end then what is? the sake of playing is getting good equips for your toon and those items mostly comes from ET. unless you group up with friends or guild, without aoe on your toon youâd have a problem joining others, same goes for swordsman classes and such.
and yes qs3 is doing good with solo at low level content, high level content theyâre still ok with wugu poison if RS is on cd, and adding wugu 3 would only give little to your arsenal of skills than going canon/musk because of poison cooldown
A little question, Steady aim enhance +2 adicional damage per level, work on poison DoTs ?
Yes, I agree, but thereâs trading in the game and if you really want to go for ET, thereâs Alts for that. Iâve seen a vid of someone doing 280 Dungeon. A3 > QS3 > Musket. Even without Musket sheâd still be able to finish.
Like I said, If Iâll aim for ET, Iâd be better of Diev > Pala and some Wiz build instead. We have Team Storage anyways.
What Iâm saying is that ET isnât the end all of things, theyâd still add more dungeons in the game. ET however heavily needs AoE and AoE protection/heals/buffs in which QS3 can never give on itâs own.
Donât worry, we agree on everything, Iâm just saying my opinion regarding end game. If theyâll increase cap to 600 in the future, maybe QS3 wonât even matter by then. Weâll never know
yup I agree with you
just pointing out about going with wugu3 or canon for r7, on which build would be more of a help in ET part if you ever get accepted in a party.
Does anyone know what poison damage looks like at the highest level of play?
Like whatâs the highest number of poison damage you can realistically reach with bis gear and near maxed attributes?
Hi guys, what gems should i level to use as a Wugushi? I tried to research and found no information about it.
short reply:
-Basically anything boss related, world, field, dungeon quest, mission. or solo activities.
-Yes, you should balance your poison duration for the activities you do mostly.
-And Wugushi is a support (damage support) class, dont expect to use its skills as your main weapons.
Long reply: You are over simplifying things. ET and party grind is not everyoneâs endgame or activity at high lvls, some people prefer to hunt rare recipes in dungeons rush as a solo or small groups since items like max pentamion or mana mana compete with ET Gear. other prefer collecting rare hats from field bosses, or making money from world bosses. Others have guild activities and have to help lower members on their own dungeons etc.
Your comment however is not entirelly wrong and reminds us of something important. WUGUSHI IS A SUPPORT CLASS.
Because of CD a wugushi canât be a DPS nor its meant to, it provides damage assistance to things that are long and hard to kill, but you shouldnt expect it to be your main arsenal of skills if your focus is pure fast dps, thats sellecting the wrong escenario to apply those skills.
basically the only thing you can use are the ones that increase physical attack
Wugushi isnât a support class itâs an attack class.
It even states that it is an attack class when you select it.
Donât confuse Colour of the icon for what a class is, every class has its own label that is stated when you select the class and is also available on the Ktos site (and most are translated on ToSbase).
mmm seem true, its marked as attack. since blue is for def and red for dps y asumed green was for support.
in any case that doesnt change the fact that wugushi mecanics make it more a complementary damage class than a spamable burst dps one
I think the reason why he states that itâs a support class rather than a DPS class is because Wugu can easily be outDPSed by other classes such as Ranger/Flether since they have 0 CD Skills. However, if you will mix Ranger3 with Wugu3, it still means that Wugu will support your Ranger in a way to increase your over all damage while Ranger 3 would still dish out most damage with 0 CD skills and skill rotation.
Itâs an attack class, yes, but we can classify it as a Support ATTACK Class because even without any class to combo it with, it will still compliment whatever you have taken previously or will take in the future.
Yeah, I kinda plan of completing the Adventure Journal and being a QS3 will really ease up in the farming low level stuff because Iâll just activate RS, and run around maps killing low level stuff without spending much on Silver for SP Pots. We have different views on end-games anyways.
Others might even see End Game of making and deleting characters to experiment rather than even reaching level 280 or finishing ET.
Thatâs precisely what i mean, poison DoT is a Mechanic that its quick to apply, leaves a lot of damage but also leaves you with a lot of open time, doesnt interfere with other classes and cant be spammed since you canât depend on it all the time on multiple targets its better to consider it a damage oriented Support or complementary damage rather than other DPS like Archer, Ranger, Fletcher etc.
Thatâs true for a lot of classes.
The reality is balance isnât perfect and damage focused classed get outperformed by other damage classes.
Just because you get outdamaged doesnât change your nature, just means youâre not at the top of the totem pole. With a large amount of classes in competition at one point with 5 slots to fill into it is obvious that they canât all excel.
A Wugushiâs going to be wrecking targets thatâs they do, anyone who canât make peace with not being top damage is probably better looking for another game with how balance fluctuates in Tree of Savior, and the uncertainty of future ranks :stuck_out_tongue. Dealing Damage over time doesnât make you any less of an attacker then anyone else either. Whether its Burst or over a period of time it all translates into measurable DPS
That being said I like my Wugushi and it hits hard.
or
and a little question, steady aim enhance work on poison dots ?
it enchaces the initial hit, not the poison tick
