Running Shot, in anyways will not increase Wugu’s poisons, right? I’m betting it doesn’t since if it does, it would be a little OP.
As for damage, Wugu favors more STR than DEX? Correct?

Wugushi skills are STR based, hence it pairs well with QS
dex is irrelevant to poisons
Thanks. Another reason why I’m inclined to getting Wugu1 as a filler for my skill set.
Wugushi really shines at C2, but if your getting it for a filler skill you should be fine
Yeah, Idea is to use Hunter Skills which are really almost up all the time, Snatching for Flying bosses.
Then there’s Falconer’s Hovering and then Wugu’s Poison all the while Running Shot is in CD.
I could take Musket or Cannon but I don’t like to swap weapons :3
well you were asking why I wouldn’t take wugu3 over canon based on my research, that was my point, all those you stated of doing adventure or hunting rare recipe, doing field quest etc etc canon would help you more than a wugu3, you doing adventure low level maps stuff? canon can AOE them away or just qs3 RS away, you wouldn’t do poison to a low level map would you?? and ofc world boss is about burst now so wugu won’t do a thing in there
well those were just my points since you were asking me on what I’ve read and search both reddits, steam forums and here. BUT you can take the wugu3 route and test it to further help the wugu community if you are dealing more damage with wugu3 or if you can do the full duration of poisons in a mob before they fall, that would be great.
yes, this is true, while we,wugu, deal good damage we aren’t in the tip of the pole since there are 80 classes, some would really stand out, even in ktos pvp ranking, all are wizards and cleric classes, only few archers and swordsman can enter, while in doing field adventure doin quest, I had more fun playing as an archer than a wiz and cleric, guess that’s where archer classes stand out, While wugu can deal good damage, they aren’t the best since other class can deal that amount of damage in a short span of time
So I was reading this and kneeling shot physical damage + dex bonus adds to the poison tick?
acording to some ppl they do, im personally testing this on my next circle
Yeah I wanna test this out as well but ran out of character slots. Now that I think about it, I think it should work. Haven’t gone A2 in any builds I did so I don’t know about kneeling shot. Does it really give raw physical damage on character info or is that strictly for basic attacks?
It should add to the poison ticks since the poison tick scales off of your current physical attack and when you go into kneeling shot, the additional damage from kneeling shot changes your character stat window’s value and increases it. It’s pretty much just like using wugu skills without a weapon and then equipping a weapon in the midst of it and the poison tick value increases.
I see. I thought it was something different but I guess it’s raw stats. Good to know.
Dudes, archer3 wugu3 or ranger2 wugu3 ??
as i said berfore its a matter of personal preferences, do you like single target damage or AoE? thats all there is to it.
people could tell you pick 1 or 2 but if they ignore your playstyle, build, equips, or whenever you play on party alone or with guild, or you prefer investing on atributes rather than gems and anvils, even if you prefer evasion, magic defense, physical defense, they will give you a terrible decision regardless if that worked for them.
ALL of above is linked to a successfull character and its mostly personal choices and can heavily affect whenever something is optimal or not, and unless you find someone willing to do all that job for you, you might as well toss a coin.
I’ll leave a sugestion for the Wugus that had choosen the QS way, bringing a new idea that was not explored in this topic yet:
PS: These builds are tailored for PvE
The builds are based on 50 CON + rest in STR for attributes. You can always raise CON to your likings. Gems will cover anything you might miss (hit, crit, more damage, etc)
1st - For a more heavy Wug playstyle:
Why Rogue?
It sinergizes very well with quarrel shooter, so by the time your poisons are on CD, you have plenty of shooting to do. The rogue part of the build is mainly for the Sneak Hit, wich will give you 70% crit with no DEX for a whole minute (attrib), but you need someone to keep the mob 6 towards you.
Vendetta gives you more auto attack and poison damage, whenever you kill a target with this skill and sinergizes with the Pavise bleeding (attrib).
You can go the WU > WU > RO or WU > RO > WU paths, depending on if you solo or party more.
The 2nd option (obvious by now) is:
This version is actually a QS build with splash WU for some nice dots.
Note that this second build has no flexibility to take 1st circle of RO prior to WU
You have now 80% crit for 80 seconds and Vendetta strikes harder. Everything else should be molded to your taste. I suggest Evasion and/or Lachrymator as a defensive measure.
Finishing: Both builds uses GC + Arde or any other well known offhand damage enhancer as weapons and preferably Cafrisun as armor.
Here is a vídeo of a Brazilian guy from Tree of Talt Youtube Channel that shows the sinergy 'tween Sneak Hit and Running Shot. He is Full STR and has no WU in his build, but has 1 circle in Archer he would trade. The builds I posted was based on his, tweeked for WU.
Hope you enjoy. Cheers.
interesting
i have too much builds to try x.x
Hello i would like to know about the Jincan Gu skill.
Does it scale with any stat?
Any special mechanics behind this skill?
Is it damage any good? Is it usable?
I am aiming for the max amount of AOE damage archers tree can offer, so i am currently rolling for two archers: archer2ranger1sapper2falconeer1cannon1 and archer1ranger1sapper2wugu2X
As for the 2nd build, i still dont know what to fit in X. Either Cannoneer for more AOE (but it would scale better with a more dex based build) or Wugushi 3 for better throw gu pot, wugong gu and jincangu. So any thoughs, advices?
Thx in advance.
Anyone in here combined wugu and scout?
Since damaging am enemy reveals your cloaking does this apply to poison ticks?
I.E. can you needle blow>cloak without being revealed instantly?
