[Guide] Wugushi: The Venomous Tribe

LOL man!

This poison damage system is a shitty joke! HAHAHAHAHAHA.

That is not fair at all.

Against another Wugushi I’d accept this crap system but against another class is not fair dude. All the poison pots spent had no chance to be useful. Wugushi against World Bosses while there’s another Wugushi is like a useless bot who helps other people killing bosses faster.

Sad.

Yes, it is because the debuff system in ToS is bad.
Plague doctor suffers from this too.

So I was thinking about a different chance.

I’ve watched that video Mergen vs Cerberus and noticed it’s possible to kill them quickly.

What I’d like to know is: Will Mergen have a good power of killing bosses?

The video uses rogue capture to use gu pot, and 2x arrow rain for big burst.

Mergen arrow rain is strong vs bosses because it has many hits and decent skill damage at r8. However the cd is long. The other mergen skill, the 5 homing arrows Koochaksal is strong burst too. Mergen has decent burst on bosses - the CD of mergen skills is quite high. It is hard to beat musketeer2 burst though.

A popular build for wugu bosser is QS3 wugu3, since you may use poison and then Running shot without interruptions.

i want create this build too, because i think wugu2 is better than 10sec 20% steady aim

I didn’t like Jincan Gu. :c

I’ll go for 1/5 only.

Does that deal decent damage on bosses? I didn’t notice.

Damage will be still exta damage, and you may use other skills during the 60s poison of jincan. Jincan is drop&forget on bosses. Of course the damage won’t be spectacular.

I see. So it’s more like a “the more the better”. lol

Yes. However if you really dislike it, you don’t have to throw it of course.

I wonder if Zhendu 5/5 deals more dmg than Jincan Gu.

I think I will probably reset my build. :< disappointed with it. D: I thought those little insects would deal much more damage, but I was wrong.

BTW, that girl in this gif looks like my picture. LOL

I don’t think you have to reset your build - recommend to keep the reset pot for the future.

Difference between zhendu and jincan is not very big.

Zhendu with maxed attributes:
-adds a little bit of 35 damage to each of your poison skills when you apply them on Zhendu-debuffed targets
-adds 35 damage to your z-attacks (if you have at least +1 poison property damage equip) when you z-attack a zhendu-debuffed target

The only real nice skills you need are needle, wugong, gu pot. You have those skills so everything is fine.

Yes, that’s why I posted the .gif. Found it on Korean ToS.

Hahahahaha! That’s so much cool!

Thank you dude. We’ll see how it goes in the very future.

I’m looking forward to testing Mergen! I’m anxious a lot.

While trying to understand how the poison debuff system works I noticed how I have to fight against other players to get the highest damage dealt.

My doubt is: while I overwrite other skills my damage stacks against other players? Not necessarily another Wugushi but another class in general.

I remember that previous thought:
Wugushi 1 uses wugong gu = 800 000 damage possible.Wugushi 2 uses wugong gu 1 sec after wugushi 1 -> wugushi 1 = 0dmg.
Versus another one is that going to be 0?

Yes, your damage will count vs other players.

If you overwrite the other wugu poison, your damage will be 800 000, and their damage will be 0.
*800 000 is an example number

So previously I understood in a wrong way.

Versus a Wugushi I may have = 0 damage but versus another one I have my whole damage dealt.

That’s a great info.

Well, If I think this way I suppose that’s not that bad. If another Wugushi takes my whole damage out I still dealt damage to that boss and I may deal more damage than another one. Is that right?

I will try to explain with 2 wugu + 1 fletcher vs boss.

Harumi wugu Needle Blow on boss: needle blow starts dealing damage.
Wugu2 needle blow 1s after harumi needle blow on boss => harumi needle blow is deleted. New wugu2 needle blow starts dealing damage. Harumi wugu Needle damage = 0.

Wugu2 wugong gu on boss: wugong gu starts dealing damage.
Harumi wugu wugong gu 1s after the wugu2 wugong gu => wugu2 wugong damage = 0. Harumi wugong starts doing damage.

Fletcher A damage: always on because no debuff.

Damage ranking:
place # 1 fletcher
Tied 2nd place competition: wugu2 & harumi wugu

Now 3 wugushi + 1 fletcher vs boss.
Wugu2 uses needle blow & wugong gu & pot on Boss.
Wugu3 uses Needle blow & wugong gu & pot on Boss => wugu2 damage = 0.
Lastly, Harumi wugu uses Needle blow & wugong & pot on boss => wugu2 dmg = 0, and wugu3 dmg = 0.

Fletcher constant damage.

Damage ranking
place # 1 fletcher and harumi wugu
wugu2 and wugu3 0 dmg, so no rank.

So the wugu using the skills last, will win in damage.

Come on!

That’s exactly what I was presuming. D:

So debuff is not considered a constant damage IT IS TOTALLY OVERWRITTEN!

Now I know this I hope Mergen to fix this thing. :l

Is there any topic talking about it? Maybe IMC would think about changes?

There are, however wugu is not very very popular so everyone neglects.
