Because this game after R8 will have high base skill dmg. High power weapon ATK. but don’t have % dmg. less multi hit skills.

if you really look at skill base dmg for hakka/mergen in rank 8 it’s around 2800-3500 at lvl 1 , 4000-4800 at lvl 5 , 6000-7000 at lvl 10(rank 9) , 7500-10000 at lvl 15 (rank10)

look at number multi it with %dmg of attribute

just only skill base dmg it’s high than 2000 base already.

and look at str … even you put all point in str even you have double point bonus after 500 it’s just around 1000 for archer and that really small number for high base dmg skill.

this i still not count weapon dmg at lvl 315 content it’s around 700-900already. What happen if it lvl 400 or 500?

if IMC don’t release skill that can multiply base dmg or multihit skill. Str will become more useless.

That why ppl will say “the future patches do favor dex heavy build”

What is the highest crit resist mob in 330 patch? In our current, this tittle belongs to the Hogma Warrior inside ET. To have 100% to crit it, you need either a total of 862 crit rate after all the buffs (monstrance, quicken, swift step, choose some, do the math, etc) or 667 (if the monster is affected by a 233 SPR krivis 1 priest).

100% crit chance in lvl 330 is the same as 786 crit rate (mob with no crit resist which is not realistic) after all buffs. But i cannot get any info regarding monster crit rate unfortunately.

I mistyped there, the 862 crit rate is without zalciai crit resist debuff.

And if you wanna theory craft better, there is a more refined tool than the TOS Base Stat Calculator, you might want to check it out.

Quicken + SS.

Perhaps you could ask Reilet to check your calculation (creator of the calculator excel), I can’t look at it right now.

Lvl 280, you need 666 critical rate => 100% crit vs crit resist mob.
Formula: (Crit Rate - target Crit resistance) * (0.15) at level 280

Lvl 330, you need 916 critical rate => 100% crit vs crit resist mob.
Formula: (Crit Rate - target Crit resistance) * (7/55) at level 330

I need them to release more items like marksman:

If you are gonna consider Zalciai, you might as well consider Deprotected Zone -def stacking and Blessing Elemental Attack

Oh yes, correction. I forgot I already thought about Swift step bonus:

For lvl 330, you need about 786 crit rate to get 100% crit chance vs 0 crit resist mob.

916 if you assume up to 130 crit resist on a mob.

This is for 95% crit chance, level 280:

lvl280
95 = (Critical Rate - 100) * (42 / 280)
Critical Rate = 95*280/42 + 100 = 733

Or 633 for 0 critical resist mob.

The result may vary, do not disregard it.
Although i myself cant say much. I have only done research for a build that would do well anywhere. Ended up finding out that 1:1 str dex is the ideal ratio, so i will stick to that.

So, it took me a while to find what exactly you were missing in the calculations.

It is Archer’s base crit rate of level/5.

The stat calculator on tosbase automatically puts it in for the crit rate spot, but my spreadsheet adds it in the crit chance spot, so you cannot see it. It is also pretty obscured since it’s very hard to notice archer base crit rate in the cell if you don’t look closely. (tbh, if you ask me, my formula is very clean so you can see it if you took the time to locate what each cell does, but it is cluttered by the fact that I need IF’s for below 0% and above 100%)

ESSENTIALLY, if you add 66 crit rate (330/5) to your first calculations, you’ll get the last 10%.

Also, I’ve moved a few things around so that DEX and crit chance calculations should be a bit more accurate (in regards to crit resist calculations and monstrance) as well as adding a crit rate column.

So i’m getting a huge headache reading all your guys’ crunched numbers. So what’s the best way to distribute the stats for this class build? Or should I follow the #1 Fletcher build on TOSBase which is 4:2:1 (STR/DEX/CON) every 7 levels? I just want to get started as I’ve been researching…on what to do with the stats.

This is in regards to no crit resist, and only for archers and all archers besides the ones with rogue.

With full crit rate based gear, access to quicken and monstrance buff… roughly 140 statted dex (not factoring dex cards or hat stats)

it’d be more closer to 80 statted dex with a full set of dex cards (and even lower with crit rate hat stats)

BUT, if you don’t have access to quicken or monstrance, then it will be closer to 215 statted dex with full set of dex cards, and 280 statted dex without those cards (at endgame you should always at least have monstrance since it’s a spellscroll and quicken since you’ll be in parties often.)

A healthy number would be around 100~120 statted dex at level 330. (lower if you already planned to get multiple dex cards and/or crit rate hat stats)

If you do choose to get 8 ellaganos cards maxed out and 3 hats with at least 14 crit rate on them… you only need 40 statted dex. (along with crit rate gear + monstrance + quicken)

However much CON you want depends on your preference. Everything else should ideally go to STR.

CON = preference. I recommend 30+ CON if you are new.
DEX = until you get decent crit rate + your equipment crit rate
STR = remaining points
