My Dopp is strictly pvp so I have about 150 base DEX to hit archers at least 50% of the time with Accuracy equips etc etc since their HP pools are low. The rest is in CON. STR as it is right now is whack… you can argue that you can have a fully charged DoV @ lvl 10 plus STR blah blah blah does not matter you do enough damage to put peeps in coffins with a decently lvl’d skill attributes. In my eyes PVP = Sustain + CC.

Peltast use it Occasionally , Execute the quick change weapon and become a sort of tank , it is Very useful , so it seems to me 
but he is trading highlander c1 or barb c1, thats a lot for swashbulk…
i play high3>barb1>doppel and i wouldnt trade barb 1 for swashbulk o.O
Also, if you go to see, the third circle of doppel will have a skill “Zwerchhau” to give a bonus to slash attacks, thus making it unnecessary to the barbaric use in this build …
6.5 secs is 1 cyclone, u still have another cyclone, redel, zucken zornhau, low lvl skills and the skills from rank 9 and 10 to use with cleave…
and thats 50% dmg increase
At the momment you get rank 8 all the pelt already at rank 9 10 mate.

My sword is S>High>Barb3>Dop2 and currently I lv 273 (can pop card to 283 anytime but no point since job lv alrdy max)
its not thats hard to find party for grind even without pelt
in worst case you can just be a leader
and as i alrdy said if you go pelt without barb atleast 1 circle, then want to be dps

It depend on your server, also im not going to regret it y would i? I could just take barb circle at rank 9 if imc decide to not give doppel any new class. You want to be full dps or glass canoon ? Gl gear up and get top dps then. Im just going chilling with my alt z and swashbuckling, also this path is semi tank not full dps more like support player if u take pelt high3 doppel 2.
Edit1 : The fact many people go with barb1 on every build also benefit us without barb because cleave give slash bonus dmg for everyone have seen a lot so far =].
Peltasta brings nothing to ET that a barrier cannot bring. In fact, highlander 1 at least offers catar stroke, that is a great thing against plate mobs, and swordsman in general lacks strike skills.
The thing may be other for some dex builds, but i never saw one more dex based running et that was not an archer;
Pelt is more than a SB.
Anyway, doppel got the shitiest kit among all r8 classes.
When fencers hits a high AoE AR, doppel become useless with your fake multihit skill from c3.
Anyway, good luck for all will stick with the doppel dream.
What could a peltasta offer more than swash buckling (and SB is not useful inside ET anyways)? (That is, ET wise)
Only thing i can see there is the bonus evasion from Guardian.
Who told u we use SB for ET? and the only skill viable in ET for doppel is nothing else but cyclone, maybe poucing
dov 13 zwerchau 1 sturzhauw 5 cyclone 15
130% or 150% ( depends) more damage 100% more slash into sturzhauw which ignores a considerable amount of defense or cyclone + the new attributes on zucken and redel
go do some research on those dmg numbers
alone from cyclone lvl 15 + dov
will be enough to make people like you shut up

i prefer having some kind of utility and constant party requests than building a full dps swordy who has at least on my server a hard time to get any spots in a decent party below premade earthtower
since we are not all aki sera xD
also idk what this info is but taunt being useless in ET is a little over the top since there are times when it definetly helps
conclusion:
this build is still valid BUT if you wanna go full dps swordy ofc take highlander 1 instead of peltasta
but i would prefer some changes in sw1 and doppel skilltree
if you only play for pure lategame pve
