I have like 7 Beetleback recipes but 0 Varv skin. Can sage wall carry me to end-game? Magic mobs hit like high-way trucks and nobody likes SPR
I err, like a little Spr but probably too little to make much of a difference against magic damage.
That’s why I want to ask about 99 Mdef of Sage wall. With that much mdef, who needs SPR anyway

Hello everyone. I was planning on going Pel2Rode2Fencer2. I was wondering what would be the best stat build for this path?
Probably dex con, since you’re aiming to be a damage sponge more than a damage dealer.
So do you think a 1 to 1 ratio would be best for this. And also I’m gonna guess the damage of this build is gonna be quite pathetic. Hopefully the rode buffs come our way to help this build along
Not exactly pathetic remember you gain access to more strike types too in which my builds do not, you can put some str too if you wish, but mainly focusing on dex-con, someone with real experience with this fencer path is @deanleroy89692 if he gets on
remember outside of warcry our damage on the fencer tree is basically the same, with differences depending on stats or if you decide to permanently equip a shield due to rodelero requirements and switching being bad in the game (if you don’t have any switching problems, ignore this, a single lag spike can ruin your switch though)
Thanks for cheering me up about this path. In most game I love to tank but still do okay dmg I’m okay with not topping the charts just want the dmg to be noticeable and can solo without to much fuss. And thanks for the tips in general. I think I’ll sacrafice the str points and just go 1 to 1 dex/con to be the tankiest bastard that ever tanked
Your damage should be fine for solo leveling, and by the time it falls off you’ll be needed to tank in grinding zones ( Alameth and up ).
For stat distribution,
I intend to do 3:1:1 for STR:CON:DEX

Thank you for the encouraging words. Speaking od deanleroy I saw his build to add corsair to the path. I think I should go with that. I like the dmg blocking from flan but the other two skills I would just put em at 1 anyhow. I think Corsair for the party support since I’m going tank mode would be better this way. And dust devil would be a nice dps skill to add to the rotation.
If you intend to focus on mainly damage, sure. But if you need some crit rate you’ll probably have to forfeit gladiator bands and get sissels.
A circle of corsair is really nice, the blocking attribute helps a lot outside of pillaging.
What made me took fencer c2 instead of corsair c2 was the use of preparation for future classes. You know our dreams to do 300k burst with 1 skill+preparation on ranks 8+ is still possible! (provided with expensive attribute upgrades)
True true. Thats the problem with all my builds of late. Do I get whats good now or future proof my class for later down the line. Its a tough call indeed. I might hold off on my swordsman for now and just level my other chars. I would hate to miss out on all that potential dmg given my 0str build.
Holding off is an option, I also have a Pel>HL3>??? right now that I stopped because I’m waiting for some updates. It will probably end up being a doppel though.

I feel that STR is really underwhelming unless you stack it.

@miztherebel Wanted to run the exact same build but decided it was far too much a pain to level. Am I the only one that thinks Fencer with a shield looks super sexy? xD @deanleroy89692 makes a good point, since you’re already locked into tanking, squire or corsair will give some decent utility. Fencer 2 is really all about damage with Preparation.
change that to str, spr is a big waste pve wise
