@Lostac@AnitaCafe btw what are your current stats? I’m debating about how much stam to invest into. I feel a swordsman should have at least 20k minimum but beyond that? Maybe, maybe not. It probably depends on how much dex I want and if I want to try to PvP or not.
Also, how many extra stat points do you get from the story and statues? I’ve read it was about 20.

There are a few paradoxes here. For starters Pel 1 for higher evasion and a Dex build nulls the use of Cross Guard. Then, why bother with Fen if there’s Hexen (yes, coquille and lunge). Following that, I cannot for the love of god see Keel Hauling being effective without a form of CC applied right after, unless one uses Iron Hook with its 3 man capture attribute. Decisions decisions. Want to give it a shot on theorizing?
IMO, Cross Guard works extremely well in pvp even though you have high dex because chances are, most pvp builds will have high dex anyway, they will hit you and trigger Cross Guard. In PVE however, it takes too much time to set to make the monsters block
I can’t make a comment on that though since I’m still in rank 6 and I’ve been delaying my levels until I can make up my mind on which rank to get next.
It’s an eternal strugle. If we knew about rank 8, it would have been easy. On paper Cor2 is better, more damage, better utility. With Fen2 you get Preparation, which is always going to be useful as long as we have access to a good piece attack and instant access to Fen3 if it comes out. I’m going to get to rank 7 first and decide then.
you can, keel haul is not a channeling skill despite its looks. after you click keel haul, jump with direction button. They will get dragged to where you were when you cast heel haul while free to move and cast skill. Those drags deals damage.
the dragging stops by:
The duration of you hook is up (yes it still look for its duration despite being “removed” after you cast keel haul so if you used is like 1 second left, they won’t be dragged at all)
They are already on the spot (if they were somehow knocked back, they will continue to be dragged and be dealt damage.
you cast a skill (not confirmed, because i only have lv 1 hook so might be case 1 and casted keel haul too late)
so yes, as long as you time it right, you can hit bash at keel haul but do remember they still can cast skill so they might stun you or something

Yep! I’ve had a few escapees myself though. Seism also works because even if they get a few cells away because I wasn’t quick enough, they’ll stun.
Pls tell me the DPS capability of this build. Let say, you have 3-4 melee mobs at lv200. How many skills does it take to kill all of them
Tanking ability. Yes, I know high Dex = high Dodge chance. But how about magic mobs. To be honest, my current Ele 3 with 10k HP seems squishy as hell. A hard lag spike can make my entire screen flashing red. So how is life with just about 20k HP in high level area?
Stat allocation. High Dex, I assume? So it’s going to be 1:2 Str: Dex and left over points into Con. Is this correct?
gotta say that entirely depends on your gear, which includes aoe attack ratio. there’s also attribute enhance to consider (check the last video on the first post to see the potential of fencers with no real gear other than venier and karacha, as well as 0% on all enhance attributes)
Outside of ET, I managed to tank/taunt everything without having any real problems. ET, never tried. You only need healers to handle it, I have 23k hp now, will be 25k with max petamion. If monsters can be stunned use barb skills to your advantage. Try not to bash if it isn’t needed because you’ll be scattering mobs, it’s mostly for solo.
Also as a tanker/taunter, don’t be underleveled, stay within 4-5 levels.
Lastly, always get an aspersion buff from pardoners

I got lucky with 2 Vubbe Blood, a few Arde in my storage. Well other gears can be earned quite easily. Karacha isn’t that expensive in Fedimian, it’s like 2 Arde = 1 Karacha.
Glad to hear that Fencer tanking ability is decent. I mostly solo - aka explore everything at my own pace. I just want a character that can survive everything TOS throws at me (except ET)

With venier / vubbe / karacha and about +25% sept etoiles and nearly +40% lunge i destroy lvl 225 ish mobs @ lvl 221. Tanking wise once you get used to falconade you wont even need a shield in missions.
