Time to delete my highlander, it was there waiting for this buff that never came lol, I tried it out since people said highlander sucked with 3 charge skyliner and the third circle is merely for skull swing(which was true, I hated it myself)
This means that HL1>Barb3 is still the best all rounder path for doppel IMO
No one will buy that Highlander C3 costume anymore, will only have pretty but useless Skyliner. lol. Although the weapon stance is the real deal. That is how 2h swordsman should hold their swords.

was planning to delete my pelt barb dopel to make hl2 barb2 dopel, but oh well, apparently I can continue on this doppel.
and wtf restrain gonna have 72% stun chance now with dmight and gems.
I think i’ll try a pel>hop2>cor3 again since pistol shot got buffed
But I’m glad they didn’t do a “str” only scaling with concentrate, there’s still the dex part for fencers.

This concentrate formula confuses me…
(str + dex * 0.04 * 0.02) * level
(100 + 100 * 0.04 * 0.02) * level
(FROM_STR + FROM_DEX) * LEVEL
( 100 + 0,08 ) * 15

500 * 0.04 * 15 = 300
300 + 126 = 426
Add/Remove 20 damage per level in concentrate.
310 dex (239 invested):
310 * 0,02 * 15 = 93
93 + 126 = 219
Add/Remove 6,2 damage per level in concentrate.
Can someone explain Skyliner for me? I saw someone dealt 30k damage, how is that possible?
Let say if a normal end game HL can do 20k Skyliner, I can already see the OPness of a 0cd spamming SKyliner already

(str * 0.04 + dex * 0.02) * (skill level -1 )
(300 * 0.04 + 100 * 0.02) * (10-1)
(12 + 2) * 9 = 126 + attributes + basic concentrate
sword 1
(str * 0.04 + dex * 0.02) * (skill level -1 )
(300 * 0.04 + 100 * 0.02) * (5-1)
(12 + 2) * 4 = 56 + attributes + basic concentrate
oh it’s about the same, you are just missing skill level -1

damage come from attribute and high crit atk. you can reach almost 1,5k crit atk with highlander
1400 atk, DoV 10 -> 2800 atk
Skyliner 450atk -> 3250 atk
bleed -> 6500
crit -> 11250
then depends on your attribute, if you got 100% on skyliner, it will deal 22.5k each hit

I see, but how can a HL inflict Bleed? I saw nothing about Bleed on the class attribute (TOSbase)

Wow I deleted my highlander 2 days ago when I came back from hiatus…
But I also decided that my Hoplite Fencer will no longer be a thing…
Looking at what you get from Hoplite vs Barb, I honestly can’t look at Peirce and Stabbing + spear lunge as justification for giving up everything that barb offers. (ESPECIALLY after the Barb buffs come)
And the little bit extra Peirce coverage will likely be mitigated by Fencer c3 and/or matador.
The cross-liner combo consists of Cross Cut inflicting a 10s Bleed then Highlander spamming Skyliner for double dmg.
This is especially potent when paird with Barb and/or Fencer as both can give +50% slash dmg = +75% if you have both.
Plus the armor bonus if vs the correct armor
I’m thinking of builds surrounding sword 3 and high str now lol, maybe
Sword 3 > HL1 (Cartar+Cross Guard+2H Sword mastery) > Barb 1 (Cleave Debuff) > Doppel 2
No warcry frenzy there to boost DOV, but in exchange, you get a VERY consistent damage boost that requires no setup at all

but it doesnt work agaisnt some type of monster, unlike normal bleed which work on everything.
26k if you got it to 100%, which is 37m silver, and if its crit, since with that kind of crit atk, you most likely have pretty low crit rate (around 250-ish)
not to mention skyliner poor range.
