Guide to Fencer / Doppel / Bullet Marker [PVE]

It does, but it’s slow and only has 1 charge
by slow, you gotta stack them up before doing "damage"
Cross cut > Lunge > Skyliner for a moderate damage. not really worth the effort IMO for higher level maps

if you took something like…Sword 3 > Pel > Barb > Fencer 3

you have 3 cleave charges for your flanconnade, and occasional Lunge bonus

but in the end they still matter only a little when you get to fencer 3

Yeah, that does make since. The thing is, I know that Fencer is a stand alone damage class, but damn it’s so boring atm, lol. I might rank reset scroll once we get it, or continue my standard SW3 > PELT > COR > F3… I don’t know. I just spent all my money on a Venier too.

yeah Epee Garde kinda sealed the deal for the boredom

on the bright side you only have to heavily invest on one attribute, the rest you can leave at 50-70

I use Pel > Barb 2 > Corsair, but I will class reset it to either
SW 3 > Pel > Corsair
or
SW 3 > Pel > Barb

I really wanna see how r9 looks, barb c1 is useless without further slash attacks

How good is Epee Garde, is it a flat % increase in CRIT ATK?

The reason why I took Swordsman 3 was for PB… It’s a really strong skill, I understand that we have high DEX and dodge quite a bit, but the rock that is PB with just a 10 second down time is too much for me to pass up…

Not critical attack, but the actual critical damage you see on your screen
which increases the basic 150% from crit damage + critical attack stat

PB will have even less downtime when we get the KR patch for SW C3

Less down time? Was it increased? Do you know if the card that gives PB is worth slotting, or is it even working currently?

there’s an attribute for c3 swordsman that increases PB duration by 5 seconds

The PB card isn’t worth slotting, unless you get hit a lot and stack 8 gazing golems for 8% chance

Dang, that’s insane! I love PB, specifically when you fight bosses in missions, you don’t have to lose DPS by jumping and dodging attacks… it’s rather annoying. I find that having PB uptime as much as possible synergies well with Fencer do to the spammability of the class, we can just spam our skills without moving and losing precious debuff timers.

That’s good to know about the card, I thought about buying a few back then…

yeah the perfect anti boss build I’m currently testing is
Maxed PB, Maxed Coquille (21 seconds with venier)

You just attack and keep on attacking. Screw dodging (unless it’s one of “those”) and debuffs.

This is my current set up for Fencer, ignore the previous builds. Do you think that’s a good distribution of skills for Fencer?

I kept Coquille at 4 to have it last skill’s cooldown. I know that the top guide on TOS BASE for Fencer max Lunge? But I don’t see why that’s more important the uptime of Coquille.

And this patch is as usual disappointing… the only thing that fulfill part of it is ranger 3 :confused:

Seems good, I’d do the same.

But Right now I’m leaning towards a maxed coquille over Lunge.

Lunge was maxed before due to having 14 sec cd and a decent damage scaling per level

will get to try it out once class resets are handed out

monster resist high kick / slithering

HL 1 is even more interesting now, lol. Crown helps a lot when bosses resists coquille, might help those two skils too. Main concern is wasting some points into STR for a Murm to get a better Crown

Not sure how to spread rodelero’s leftovers. And yes, I don’t mind sacrificing pve potential (armor break, butterfly, shinobi memes) for pvp and if there’s one thing that I learned from playing highlander fencer at pvp is that CARTAR STROKE SMASHES

@Lostac Just a quick question which would be the best glove you would recommend for a low accuracy build?

Any high level leather glove will work

virtov / lolo

leather has naturally higher accuracy

5x red gems Fiver hammer, ~260 elemental damage hats, sacrament, lv 30 gung ho / concentrate, cafrisun, cartar stroke + swash

tenet church 2f is such a lovely map to smash

There’s that if you want to look at a reference Rod3 setup before you get to the point where you decide and don’t know lol. But, I’m sure you might have something in mind already though.

Interesting. I was going put Targe lv 15, can you say why you went Shoving 8 -> Targe 13? Did a little test here, since it has two overheats and hits fast, seemed worth of more points.

High Kick 5 seems the way to go too, we are going to use it every single time before a combo, so having a stronger high kick helps a bit.

So, no hidden scalling in the other CC skills like Montano? they look all like one point wonders.

Oh, one more thing, shield push has a -defense thing. It’s pretty low but I’ll lack armor break for pelt c1 so… any thoughts on this? Thanks for helping

Double dungeon exp + event 4x xp books = never leveled to r4 so fast in my life lol
